We were going to order from Crown Metals, since they were recommended. However, when we called to place the order, the lady answering was very rude and seemed annoyed that we called. She also had no idea what we were talking about and needed a drawing. As a company that deals with roofing, one would expect the person taking orders to be knowledgeable about roofing. I can only imagine what we'd get versus what we ordered, so no thanks on the nightmare waiting to happen. There's another company down the road with excellent service and knowledgeable staff. They are slightly more expensive, but overall, it's worth it to not have to deal with Crown Metals and their lack of customer service.

Ordered all the materials to have roof put on after the hurricane. Picked up materials all bundled up. Took roofers a few months to get to my house due to hurricane. Realized while doing roof that I was ten pieces short of the drip edge. Went back and explained that it was missing some of the materials, but they would not give me what I'd paid for. First they said that it was under new ownership, which it was not. I purchased my materials after they got it not with the previous owner. Then they said that they couldn't be sure it wasn't stolen after arriving at my house. Then they said too much time had passed, the order was months ago. When looking at their handwritten order form it looks like a 13, however I ordered and paid for 23 pieces. I can see how the mistake was made, but this place refused to make good on their mistake. I had to pay for the same material twice. I will not be going back nor do I recommend it. Customer service definitely is lacking.

Been buying metal here for years. The last few times ive called to order, the receptionist is as rude as they come. TERIBLE customer service. She will go out of her way to be rude to you.

Needed custom sized and formed flashing--I live in St Tammany and tried to get it done there--good luck with that--these guys did it in less than 15 MINUTES and at a rock bottom price--highly reccomended.

Told them I need 18 sheets of tin 18 feet long. Pay for it over the phone. Get there and I have 18 sheets at 8 foot long. No returns. Won't be going back.
