They did our roof which was a good job, but they left so many nails in our driveway and debris around our house that we’re finding nails and trash left behind 2 months later. They also left behind tools and extra roofing nails behind including pizza boxes in our yard. We recently had to go out of our way to replace one of our car’s new tires because a roofing nail that was left behind punctured into a tire. I do not recommend this business at all unless you want your house to look like a sty.

Plenty of racism. If you're any color but white. Don't expect to become much more than what you hire in as. Cover-ups, backstabbing, lies, OPEN racism, favoritism, human resources has a closed door policy. Everyone in upper management including human resources is treacherous, deceitful, and scoundrels. Head of HR is one of those High and Mighty types. Nose to the air, better than you'll ever be, kind of people. They're all interlaced like snakes in a nesting ball.My best advice to anyone of Color,DO NOT WORK HERE.I am WHITE, I reported open blatant racism AND hate speech to HR, which is still under investigation with the EEOC and the DOJ. Gilchrist answered my complaint by retaliation, and fired me.

This company employs a very hateful man named Todd Cheek who likes to harass people on facebook (a friend of mine). You can see the message he sent attached. When confronted with this issue on Facebook their solution is to simply delete the comments and ignore any emails rather than taking a stance at all. What are we supposed to think other than they support racism and hatred. Avoid this company lest you become a monster yourself.

Family Day at Gilchrist Construction Co was awesome...as always. Food was delicious 😋 and kids loved the entertainment. Great place to work.
