This Walmart sucks, but if you live anywhere near Donaldsonville it's one of few places to shop. The store is supposed to close at 11 PM, but staff makes its own rules and prevents anyone from entering at 10:45 PM.On Christmas Eve the store was supposed to stay open until 6 PM, but when I arrived at 5:15PM staff was blocking anyone from entering the store. I was simply there to return an item and was told the service desk closed at 4 PM. Ordinarily customer service is supposed to remain open until 8 PM, but that's flexible for staff as well. If you need to return something it's best to get there very early.Most of the staff have nasty attitudes and only speak to who they please. If there was another choice, I'd gladly go elsewhere. Target would make a killing in the area. Maybe competition would prompt management to address the glaring problems at this location.

Gm As Of October 1st , It didn’t have any Resigter open . I needed to get my baby milk which required a cashier. I decide to go to the customer service and I met . Mrs Lisa she was very helpful and polite. This save me time and frustration it was a blessing . That she was available at the moment . She gave it try and it my card work I appreciate very much .

This Wal-Mart is always out of almost everything. Is always messy and dirty, things are out of place. The people that are at the door greeting people are nice. Some other people inside store are rude.

I'm glad to have Wal-Mart not far from where I work so I can grab items if needed. Am usually able to find everything I am looking for. The only thing I recommend is to have more self-checkout registers open on the 1st and 3rd days of the month, especially those 2 larger ones.

Had a pick up order on Wednesday and the young man working was wonderful. He was outside before I finish opening my trunk and took the time to pack my cold stuff in my ice chest. Great customer service.

Very clean, helpful staff, didn't wait in line- no problem with storeMy issue was with the website. My kids and I evacuated to Gonzales after Hurricane Laura. We were trying to find a window unit so we could go home and use our generator. The website said they had AC units in the store at this location so we drove 20 miles further from home. Not only did the store not have any ac units,but they had become an online only item a few months before. You would think a multi-billion dollar corporation could keep their online information up-to-date.

Has to be one of the messiest and most unorganized Walmart's I've ever been in. So many products are hanging in the wrong hooks with the wrong prices. Clothes in Sporting Goods are stuffed behind what's hanging and a lot of it is on the floor. Also not kept organized.

What is really going on. No lines open, cashiers gossiping about other cashiers instead of checking people out, self checkout got 3 cashiers and people still stealing. Get it together Walmart. Guess I won't be back until the robots take over.

I shop this location often, 3-4 times a week because it’s only a few miles from my home. The selection of items is not as large as some larger Walmart stores but it meets most of my family’s needs. However, lately I’m considering going elsewhere because of the checkout situation. There are only 2 counters open, even during peak busy hours! It’s painfully obvious that self-checkout is being forced upon customers! I don’t mind checking myself out if I’m in a rush and have one or two items but self-checkout is not for everyone nor when the basket is full. I am not a Walmart employee and when I have to stand in a long line to wait to be served , let’s just say I’m not a happy customer. More and more I’ve seen patrons abandon loaded baskets because they’re frustrated with the wait or have to check themselves out. Management should reconsider and put more employees at the registers. I’ve discussed this with store employees with no satisfaction. I know there are lots of others who feel like I do so please listen to your customers!

I got to give this Walmart a definitely AAA+ compared to the Walmart in Bossier city on Air Line & a few other I have visited but this Walmart in Donaldsonville goes above & beyond call of duty. They don't have people's waiting in line. If its a long line somewhere, they opening another cash register to relieve the customers!!

I cashed check at this Wal-Mart an was given fake money one one the managers told me they didn't doubt that it came from there the next I called to get my money back because she told me they would do it the next manager said she look at the tape an it didn't look fake to her on tape but never seen how real my money looked or any of that # fake money being passed out there be careful

This may just be the worst Walmart I've ever been in. Floors were nasty and staff is super unfriendly. One employee even used a racist slur directed at the people in the store who were of my skin color.

Very clean store, not over crowded with people. I received help locating things when I couldn't find them myself. Deli employee was fast and courteous, not a long wait for meats.

One star is being nice! This place is horrific, look up an item online says item is in stock, in store. Decide to call to make sure before driving 20 miles. That was a huge mistake, waited 10 mins on hold only to get no answer. Make such an unwise decision to make the drive anyway, boy that was a huge mistake. Close this S&@t hole down. 40 mile trip for the two “Unhelpful Associates” to say “end of season that’s what we got left”

Apparently Walmart let they associates put they hands on customers and then kick the customers out for “harassment” when they associates put they hands on the customers will be calling corporate first thing Monday morning

It has almost everything you need but not really I dont see why they call it a super center its too small it could be a neighborhood walmart but not super center some of the people are friendly but they do not practice the ten foot rule which makes some of the people seem unfriendly and i dont want to ask them for help because of it

Not happy at all with my experience in Donaldsonville. I went for the $99 Blackstone grill. It rang up 148. The price on the tag on the shelf said 99. Juan said he could only take 20.00 off each of the 2 I had. Even called corporate office to no avail. Sad to say but Wal-Mart lost my business for good! Gave one star because it would not let me give them none!

Just a very nice place, with Great Friendly Service. Great Prices and Products. Only thing is to many carts left all over the parking lot spaces!
