I recently visited my family member and the staff was phenomenal! The facility is clean, the staff was polite and attentive, and she seems to be well taken care of! Spectacular facility!

Travel nurse review: Nice nursing home. The staff are attentive and responsive to the patient’s needs. The nursing staff welcomed me and was very helpful. All medications and supplies were readily availale… minus one star for the building. The building is old and could use an update, but is very clean and well-kept.

The entrance desk clerk had very good hospitality. She helped my son and I to sign in, because we had no idea what to do,lol 😂. The place was so neat and clean. Tha ladies that we met in the halls were very pleasant. Although I don't like going in rehabs and nursing facilities, I definitely wouldn't mind visiting a patient there again.

Landmark is a Good facility for therapy. My mom is there they actually respect her wishes and they took Good care of her. And the Staff is Nice, Kind, caring people who actually love their job. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of a nursing home/therapy.

On my visit to Landmark of Plaquemine, I was very pleased with the care they gave my love one. It didn’t have that nursing home smell. I appreciate every staff I interact with on this visit.

You hear horror stories about nursing homes- how they take all your money and mistreat people. Not the case with this facility. They have taken wonderful care of both of my parents- much better than I could. It's clean and comfortable, the nurses are kind, the food is excellent. When my Dad passed they were lovely to my Mom and let me stay with her for a few days, feeding and putting up with me. Great place. Not perfect- but the best you'll find. True story.

My father is in this nursing home and he has to call us several times to get someone to go into his room when he needs assistance. Sometimes his call bell is out of reach, other times, he has called and no one comes in a timely manner. Believe me when I say I understand that they cannot always attend to his needs as soon as we call, but you would think someone would ring his room and at least let him know that someone will get to him as soon as possible. That would at least give him piece of mind. That’s if he isn’t in distress due to the fact that he is on a ventilator, which is why he is in a NH; otherwise he would be home. To make matters worse , his entire family is over an hour away. This tears us up because we can’t be there for him whenever we need to be. Then when we voice our concerns, some of the staff act like we are without good reason. I hope and pray we can bring him home where he is not a burden.
