By far the nastiest hotel. No breakfast, not that I would have eaten there by the morning...1st: Red stain and cigarette holes in pillowcases, old time doors facing outside that didn't lock. 2nd room: blinking light, tub left running and black mold growing on ceiling and tub. 3rd room: just not very clean but was better than other two and I was just so tired but woke up to bugs over my things in the morning. THIS PLACE Needs to be shut down!!!!

Filthy. I'm pretty Sure this room had not been cleaned after the last guest. I ended up going out to my vehicle to sleep after I tried to fall asleep and the place was just too bad. This is the last time I'm going to reserve at Super 8. Some have been really good, but many are sub par. This one is so bad that it should just be razed and a new motel built. I cannot believe Wyndham would even allow this place to stay open.

Okay now I read all the reviews and we just needed a quick place to stay and to be honest it's as bad as they say. HOWEVER, as someone who's deathly afraid of bugs there were no roaches or bed bugs in my room. I probably have permanent lung damage from the black mold that was on the roof of the shower and we just used it as a rest stop to sleep so we didn't use anything but the bed. But it wasn't even that bad, except when we woke up someone left a surprise in the rear of our car but it's alright atleast we survived the mold filled janky hotel. Honestly stay here so you can flex that you survived. To me it just doesn't deserve a 1 star.

Other than the lady at the front desk being as helpful as possible, this place is absolutely terrible. Before we sat down we check the place for bugs(as everyone should) we found bed bugs in not 1 room, 3 ROOMS people!! If you are okay with that go for it. But I DO NOT SUGGEST STOPPING HERE.Rooms: Bed bugs!!

I was at this hotel this pass weekend from a Thursday to a Sunday in from Dallas to Rayville Louisiana do a set up for wedding walking up to the front entrance it's reaping of smoke and etc.this place by far is the most disgusting site on site to be used as a public source of stay or safety it should be seriously considered condemn it's a hassle to you health I had to buy bleach and lysol to clean odor eater clean before sleeping I really would like a refund in full 483 plus I will take 500. If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. This was by and large the worst hotel hotel experience I have ever had. To begin with the room was riddled with black mold. They sprayed chemicals all over the room to hide the smell. There was bodily fluids all over the mattress cover and couch seat. The door was busted and rotting from it's hinges, and there were spiders in just about every corner. You couldn't have created a better setting for a run down motel drug den had you tried. I spoke with staff which was very understanding and called their management. I had booked through priceline and they said that priceline needed to be contacted as a third party so they could be let know as to why they'd be issuing a refund. Would you imagine that when priceline representatives contacted them they denied a refund? The photos attached speak for themselves.Safety: The hotel is completely unsafe and should be condemned.

DONT STAY IN THIS PLACE!!I would give this hotel if you can call it that a minus zero, it seems from the third world, horrible. I demand my money back. I had to go to the truck to sleep. I don't understand how in the USA they leave these places operating as drivers We deserve respect and we are only looking for a decent place to rest and continue driving this time I had to sleep in my truck with the hot weather I hope whoever is in charge of this horrible place answers me and returns my money Wyndham you should removed your name from this building and the bed was NOT a bed they also don’t have a housekeeper.

Do NOT stay here! You never know if you will get clean towels. The tub looks like it's never been cleaned. They didn't even have the phone connected. No clock in the room. I was told some rooms have then some don't. Also the free breakfast they advertise, they don't do that either. It was the worst hotel experience of my life! And I have traveled in my life. The owner is rude and doesn't know what he is doing, yet tried to act like he was an expert. I would rather sleep in a car than stay there again.

I can’t give a 0-star review. The room was disgusting. There was a fire alarm two out of three mornings, at 4:30 AM. The electronic lock didn’t work most of the time, so I kept going to the front desk to get into my room. Did I mention how nasty the room was? Like I went to WalMart at got my own towel to avoid the green-yellow stains on the ones they provided. Like the soles of my white socks turned brown after 30 minutes on that carpet. Like I stopped brushing my teeth because I kept finding roaches on my toothbrush and generally didn’t want to put anything in my mouth that had been unpacked in that room. I am glad I escaped without picking up some parasite or disease. Do not recommend. Nasty.

Gross!! This hotel needs to be condemned, torn down, and a new one built in its place. It is in terrible condition. I needed to take more pictures than I did.The rep that checked us in was super friendly and exhausted. Lots of weary travelers trying to find a place to stay and they were full.

Where to start? After reading bad reviews,, we were told the rooms were clean and no complaints by the front clerk. Asked for a non-smoking room, but upon entering the room, the floors were dirty and the non-smoking room smelled of stale cigarettes. The bed "covers" and sheets were spotted with multiple cigarette burns. There were 2 towels, no washcloths and no toiletries to be found. Beds were full size, not queen as would be expected. Furniture was old, beat up and looked as if they were found on the road side, as was the bedding. The blanket was paper thin and felt like sandpaper. On the plus, I thoroughly inspected the room and found no traces of bed bugs, and they were the only place that was pet friendly, therefore we were forced to pay the astronomical price of $92.00. We were only able to tolerate 5 hours before leaving at 3 a.m. I do not recommend for anyone to stay here unless you have no other alternative. I wish I taken pictures to share, but unfortunately I did not. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because they are pet friendly, and it was at the very least, quiet. Maybe because we were the only guest in the building.

I had a reservation and was called by an employee to confirm I was showing up. I said yes but will be late like around 11pm. I showed up around 11pm and there was 1 customer at the window. Checking in took about 30 minutes but at no fault of the employee. The employee was busy and I feel managed everything as best she could. No complaints about that! The room is very outdated, the ac vents were broken, carpet was sticky, chair had stains and so did the tub. I do feel the restroom and linen were clean but everything needs to be replaced. Staff was great, but room needs major cleaning or new furniture.

Only giving one star so I can write a review. Door key doesn't work. No remote for tv & only one channel fox news, trash behind the dresser that has the busted up microwave on it(I'm pretty sure if you use it it'll explode), sheets have stains, biggest issue is the black mold in the bathroom(pretty sure that the whole room is covered in black mold that was painted over. Do not stay here unless you want to wake up with breathing problems. No breakfast and coffee pot in the room has mold in it

The staff was courteous to us & willing to work with us in need of a place to stay with no reservation. They remained calm & expressed care under weather circumstances & only modesty raised their rates compared to other hotels. The walls aren't insulated the best for sound, but decent for being outside access & by the interstate. Nice little bathroom with tiled shower walls. Solid furniture & good lighting from overhead & lamps.

Motorcycle trip cross country and had to stop due to a storm. Im allergic to cigarette smoke and booked a non smoking room with a confirmation and was put in a smoking room. Had to moved rooms after unloading every to pack up. The clerk said the third party booked non smoking but was no on my email. People make mistakes its ok. The room was run down and found a couple of bugs. No bed bugs thankfully. No other rooms available anywhere.The hotel markets breakfast but said they ran out of everything right after breakfast started but the lobby lights were off.

This was by far the worst place I’ve stayed on my cross America road trip. The room had a nasty smell, like someone died there after smoking a carton of cigarettes and they used cleaning chemicals to hide. There were bugs everywhere, stained linens, stained towels, gross flor that turned your feet black after a couple steps on.We spend a couple hours at the Walmart so we could avoid staying in the room. Slept and left first thing in the morning. The place should be burn to the ground and rebuild.

First room was dirty (no smoking room) half smoked cigarette on dresser and ashes in the toilet. TV did not work neither did the light over the sink. Bed spread had holes in it. Requested new room and the lady at the front desk moved us to a different room. It was much better but dresser had a broken door (missing) Old soap left in soap dish.. There was no breakfast. If this is typical for Super 8 I will never stay in another one.

I stayed at the Super 8 in Rayville over a month so I think i have a pretty good perspective on that particular property. Best part of the stay was the staff. I was in room 110 and Shirley was the housekeeper and she is outstanding. As good a housekeeper as any I've had in the past. The front desk equally helpful with Hailey, Brooke, Crystal and Sandy handling my requests for stay modifications, incoming mail, etc. My only complaint, and it's huge for me, is the same complaint I have with a growing number of motels, which is the promise of internet in all the rooms. Either the signal from the office area is too weak to reach all the rooms adequately or, as was the case in Rayville, warnings pop up all over that the system is not secure and that a breach of security is very possible. I could not access the internet without altering my computer's security settings, which I wouldn't do. I gave the Super 8 four stars, mainly because of the staff. Without them three stars at best, possibly two.

Room was not as clean as I would have liked but it was comfortable and the bed was very nice, made for a good night's rest. It was quiet even though the road was not far away. No breakfast in the lobby but that seems standard these days. We have stayed here before and probably will again. Price is good and it is easy to get to.

I gave them one star only because they gave us a discount on 4 rooms that we desperately needed due to a funeral. But read the letter in the picture of the front door talking about the virus and couldn't come in the lobby anymore. The stuff on the pink chair is mold. This was the first room we went to. All the other pictures are from the second room we were sent to. So, what about health because of the virus? We could not get another room in a 30 mile radius of the funeral. We went and bought new sheets, blankets and pillows and lysol, being afraid of what we could get. If every business is supposed to be on high alert to sanitize everything, how did we get rooms like this? The front desk clerk was at her wits end trying to do what she could to help. Under different circumstances, we would not have stayed there.

This is the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life! Extremely overpriced. I had to purchase towels, sheets and a blanket because the ones in the room weren't fit for an animal. I should have slept in my vehicle. We paid for 2 nights but we didn't feel safe enough to stay the 2nd night. This place is absolutely disgusting! Not a name synonymous to Wyndham! I had to purchase cleaner and bug spray. There was a ring in the tub and toilet.
