When we decided to have a new home built by John Libby Construction, we never imagined how wonderful John and his team would be to work with. Our home is more beautiful and perfectly designed for us than we dreamed it would be. They were professional, very knowledgeable, skilled, and patient (this is the first time we have built a home).The attention to detail and the craftsmanship shows throughout the house. John and his team were easy to work with as we navigated through the process. We made a few upgrades, we asked lots of questions along the way, and we made a few add ons.John and his team were friendly, extremely patient and helpful, and importantly to us, responsive.We would highly recommend John Libby Construction to anyone considering having a home built in Maine. If we ever build again, we will definitely use John Libby Construction.

John Libby Construction built our home after getting people in to clear the land, do the site work and then build our dream house. John and his team were so friendly, easy to work with and fast! They made the home building process very enjoyable for us and I would highly recommend John Libby Construction. Also after we moved in John has been great about answering questions and is now a friend even though we did not know him prior to his building our home!

So happy to do business with a professional crew! The job was bid well, performed in a very timely manner, the crew took care to not damage my yard or plantings and did multiple cleanups per day. They went above and beyond. They will be my first call for any future construction, roofing, or siding.

We hired them to make plans for an addition. We absolutely LOVE the plans. The problem is we gave them a budget and our plans have come back at 2.5x that budget. Even more frustrating is when we approached them with our concerns their answer was for us to spend more money for them to change the plans. I’m very frustrated with my experience and feel they lack customer service.

Cory came out a few weeks ago to do an estimate. Great price, everything was very well explained to us. Quality materials, responsive, professional, value. After we had an issue with a skylight, they came over within the hour on a Sunday and fixed the problem. These guys are awesome! If you need work done, call these guys up!
