I hired Jeff to install 3 double wide windows. They installed the windows quickly and custom milled all the wood for the trim and sills. Looks beautiful!They did the work fast and with a focus on detail. The site was cleaned up everyday. Jeff kept in constant contact regarding his schedule. There is no doubt I will be hiring him again for additional work I need.I highly recommend Jeff and his team!

We reached out to HDC Roofing when a huge pine crushed our camp roof. We were away at the time and were really fortunate to find Jeff, the owner of this company. We needed to temporarily secure the roof from further damage, especially water! He was very responsive and even took time on a holiday weekend to help us out. He was able to get the tree off the roof, and secured the huge hole in the roof with plywood and ice & water shield, to make sure there would be no water damage prior to full repairs. He inspected the wreckage, even crawled in under the camp to check the footings. He sent pictures, called to discuss what he found and made an accurate assessment of the situation. He was quick to get the job done. All this at a really fair price too. It’s nice to find good people. We’ll be using HDC for other construction work in the future. Thank you!

I engaged Jeff of HDC over the past year to do lots of interior and exterior work on our property such as roofing, siding, deck, window replacement and finished carpentry.I'm not from the construction industry, so I wanted to hire someone that I could trust to educate me about the work that needed to be done. Jeff has a natural talent to look at a specific project, assess the status and cause of a property's condition (i.e., previous work not done correctly), then propose ideas and options for how best to renovate or build new, and all within a reasonable budget.More importantly, Jeff has a great understanding of materials, mills his own wood, and fussy about doing things right, better known as quality. HDC construction was a huge help in getting my home repairs completed. I had multiple quotes from different companies in the area and they all gave me a outrageous price. I contacted Jeff and he was able to to do the job to the same standards for a fraction of the price. During a major wind/rain storm a piece of our garage roof/siding unhinged flapping in the wind ~ I contacted HDC Construction and even though there was major damage throughout 3 towns with his workload overflowing he managed to fit us in ~ roof was repaired in a timely fashion with all damage repaired and zero leaks ~ I would recommend HDC Construction

We are very pleased with Jeff and his crew. He was the only return call we got, which worked out to our benefit. He squeezed us in after seeing the condition of our roof. Everything was above our expectation to the details of what he was doing, the quality of his work, his price and his job site clean-up. We neeed to fix our roof in Greenwood after shingles blew away in a windsorm. After failing to get a call back from multiple roofers. I phoned Jeff mid-week and our roof was inspected and repaired by noontime that Saturday.Rather than trying to convince us to put in a new roof (which we were prepared to do), he said the repairs should buy us another 5-10 years. So, we had several tiles blow off our roof in one of those nasty windstorms we have had lately. We called Jeff and he came over fairly quickly and repaired these. At the same time we showed him where our porch was leaking and had been for several years even after "repairs" by several other contractors. He explained what he thought was wrong and how he could repair it. The floor was rotting from the leaks so we had him check that out also. Since he was there looking at the porch we asked if he could replace the indoor/outdoor carpet that was on the porch floor also. He accomplished a;ll this work and the leak is now gone and the rug looks great! Since he had done such good work I asked him to look at our front porch which had some rotten wood and also the stairs that ran from our lower deck to the backyard. He said he could fix all of that and he showed me where the lower deck was missing a bunch of joist hangers. So I asked him to fix all of it. Everything came out great and now the lower deck is more stable than it has been in a long time. I highly recommend Jeff and his guys. I plan to have him rebuild my upper deck sometime in the fall.Service: Repair flooring

We needed our roof shoveled, and walkway cleared. Jeff was a pleasure to work with, he was efficient and handled the job at hand in a timely manner and his price was very fair. Jeff will be the person we call in the future for all our maintenance needs. Jeff was referred to us by a friend. Jeff and his crew went out to our house and made sure to shovel off the roof and clean the walkway prior to the next snow storm, which was coming within a couple days. We were on vacation at the time and Jeff sent us pictures of his work when he was finished. I highly recommend Jeff and his crew.

Jeff did a roof for us in Bethel at the end of the season. He was very easy to work with and went the extra mile to reassure us that the project was running smoothly when we could not be on site, sending constant updates and pics from his drone! One night, when we had an unexpected storm, he went out in the middle of the night to make sure all the tarps were secure. The roof looks great and we haven't had any problems with it. Great work at a fair price.

Hired him to repair several leaks on the roof of a very old building. Price was very reasonable and showed up promptly. There was one small leak still around the chimney after a heavy downpour with strong winds, Jeff came back and fixed it, and followed up after the next heavy rain to make sure it was fixed. They did a super job in less than 2 days, going above and beyond, including bumping out the eaves for better drainage, adding soffit insulation, painting the new facia, and reflashing/repairing the weather damaged widow's walk attic roof access. They came to look over the roofing project and stated they would contact us with a quote within a few days. Weeks have gone by and many voice mails have been left - with zero response. It's obvious that these guys don't care about customer service and, quite honestly, I wouldn't want them working on my house if this is any indication of how they would address any issues that might arise after installation. Unprofessional in the extreme. Answer your voice mails, boys!

Ghosted me for the first two appointments, was late for the third. I've had financing for months now but the back and forth is sporadic at best. Will give me "an update" then go a month without responding. When I pushed for a more definitive timeline got a very unprofessional 4 part text telling me why I'm in the wrong. If you value your time avoid. Roof still isn't on yet, granted dude seems like he's knowledgeable and like roofing is a passion, just dealing with customers isn't.Edit: Since he wants to keep saying that I'm "slandering" him here's the texts for y'all to read. You can see the timestamps and his lack of response/not remembering details and constant renegotiation of price. Also the reason I "ghosted" is because my grandfather died from covid and also I was still trying to secure financing, which I made abundantly clear at the beginning, absolutely tasteless this "man" is. Also there were many phone calls in between that do not show up in the text where we talked about details. Like how he promised to have it done in November then in December, then finally January, these were not timelines I set they were ones he set and did not meet, but then blamed that I was "at the bottom of his list". You can see where he blew up on me twice, HE DOES NOT HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.also: was never notified that he "doesn't make scheduled appointments", I called and said I was in need of a new roof, he told me a time he would stop by, twice, and rescheduled both times, the first was a no call no show.Service: Roof installation
