We got a new roof and also siding with this company. They had great customer service and did the work quickly. Our contractor, Ron, was very helpful and patient with getting the color scheme and design that I wanted. The work was done efficiently and the crew left our yard clean. We love the look of our house. The details of the trim, the shutters, and the gutters are perfect. After seeing two neighbors' roofing and siding work drag on for weeks with other companies, we realized how lucky we were to use Area Roofing and Siding. We had Area Roofing install new roofs on two buildings. One of the buildings, built on pylons in the Magothy River, had a very old roof on slats, making the work difficult and the need for cleanliness very important. After receiving estimates from several firms, we decided to use Area. We required the use of high-end materials as these roofs are difficult to access and are expected to last a long time. Additionally, we had limited windows of time when the work could be done. All the work was done exactly when promised with no cost overruns. We are very pleased with the cost and the quality of the work.

We had a great experience with this company. We had a portico roof added and windows, siding, and gutters replaced. They were very professional and were in and out very quickly considering all that was done. The exterior is well sealed, looks better than when the house was new, and no more exposed wood to paint. Area Roofing (AR) replaced my roof after the big hail storm 10 years ago. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed something didn't look quite right about one of the shingles on my roof. I called AR and Mr. TJ Johnson came out to have a look. There was a shingle flipped up. TJ put it back into place and checked for other damage. He told me my roof still had about another 10 to 12 years of life and he did not charge me for the minor repair. Thank you for your prompt service AR. You guys came through for me again! We hired Area Roofing & Siding to replace our roof. The work consisted of removing the old shingles and replacing old sheathing underneath that had rotted and gone bad. A few attic vents were also installed to help with ventilation and reduce moisture issues. The work was done quick and professionally. The crew made sure to clean up all trash and debris when they were done. We are very happy with the quality of the work. After a recommendation from a friend we turned to Area Roofing and Siding Company to replace our old roof about 5 years ago. They were very responsive, easy to work with, showed us various options and did a fantastic job. The price for the new roof was great and way more reasonable than other quotes we received. The best part was, how quickly they came back out to our house just last month (Nov. 2019) to repair two good size holes in our roof from a tree that had fallen on it. The responsiveness and workmanship on repairing the holes was fantastic! You can't even tell where the work had been done. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is in the market for a new roof!

Small company, gigantic customer service! I got their contact information from a list of insurance estimators because the original guy ignored all of my calls/texts/emails because my townhouse was not a big job. Ron and his team accepted my insurance claim estimate, sent me a contract, took their deposit and started working all in the same breath! His workers were not on time but early (awesome), professional, quiet, and clean. I thought they were working honeybees. I got pictures during the work from the owner, Ron, and I could see them working expertly and efficiently on my camera system. Then the interior work team led by Miguel, real nice & enthusiastic guy, were on time, and worked during a power outage, without skipping a beat. Ron personally completed the siding work on my chimney and checked the roofers work. I got pictures and a cert of completion with my final invoice. We had a major rain storm with high winds and I had no issues with my roof. Call this company if you want residential work done sufficiently, efficiently, cordially, and economically. They are licensed, bonded, & insured (I double checked).

We met with 5 different contractors. When all was said and done, Area Roofing gave the best price, was incredibly responsive, and they did a great job. (Replace all fascia boards, soffits, fascia wrap, install new 5" gutters with a bow and 2 downspouts)Area Roofing in Bowie was our final choice. Initially when Andy came out to price the job, he added a lot of extra desirables, resulting in a very high quote. After, I spoke to him, we adjusted the scope and his price was perfect. After speaking to so many contractors, I was very confident Andy knew what he was talking about. About 3 weeks later the job was finished and it looks great. Part way through I asked if they could replace the garage rake boards and wrap...30 minutes later, Andy gave me a price and the work was added. To add complications we ended up with an unrelated roof leak...called Andy...he said he didn't have the staff available, but he put me in touch with Ron who picks up extra work from them. 1 week later, roof fixed.

Area roofing is definitely the place to go to for your roofing needs. The men came totally prepared, laying large tarp all around the yard for easy clean up. They were professional, courteous and completed the job on schedule. I would definitely recommend them.

I had a leak from a vent pipe. Called one roofer who never called back. When I got in touch with Area Roofing they were very responsive and helped right away, they gave me a very reasonable quote and fixed the problem right away! Very professional and provided me with a lot of information about the problem which I like. So happy we went with them.

Was referred to Area Roofing thru RE Agent for roof replacement. I found them quite difficult to work with....they were bad about getting back to me as to when the work would be done which lingered on for 2 weeks....also when I received the bill it was $640 higher than estimate due to "rotten wood" which there was NO PROOF that the wood was replaced or rotten...no pictures were taken and while I was home for the entire process no one informed me they were replacing "rotten wood". Also, all the workers who showed up did not speak English, which was annoying as a worker had a question of a solar panel on my roof, I could not understand him, and I am sure they just destroyed the panel. I am hoping I have no issues with the new roof, as I would NOT want to deal with them again.

I called 3 times and was told someone would get back to me with a quote. It never happened. When I called the 3rd time a receptionist gave me a cell number to track the field guy down. I work a full time job also so they think their time is more important than mine. I called another roofer as they clearly do not care about customer service.

After I felt I was pressured to sign a contract by Galen I did some checking around and decided to use another contractor. Area roofing has been given me the run around for the pass 3 months on getting a release letter from them even though they never did the work. Just the worse ever.
