We changed our windows and sliders on three separate homes over the past 20 years with American Energy Masters, Inc. They are professional and honest. They offer a variety of quality brand windows/doors to accommodate most budgets. They are responsive to your needs and they do not inflate their estimates to later reduce them to make you think you got a great deal. We always got at least 2 other bids but ultimately always decided to go with AEM. A company you can trust for excellent quality windows and installation for a fair price.

I purchased six new windows from American Energy Master. For the sales pitch, Bob came to my house and was friendly. He didn't use the same predatory sales practices that some of the larger window replacement companies use, and his prices were lower than theirs. The windows were manufactured and installed within the time frame that Bob put in our contract. His contractors were timely, professional, and quick. I got my replacement windows installed by American Energy Master Inc. back in June 2018 and am extremely happy with 28 OKNA DH 400dx windows. I was referred by two other friends who had their windows replaced and my end result was same as theirs; "one more happy & satisfying customer". From start to finish, I was really pleased with estimation, negotiation, communication, contract & installation process. Bob Timbers is the owner who helped us with the whole process except installation and I was extremely happy with Bob for listening to my needs & willing to work with the budget we had without sacrificing the quality of windows. Bob is also a great communicator - kept us informed of schedules throughout. In addition, the installation went pretty well. It took 4 days to complete the installation but I am extremely pleased with it. Two Brazilian gentlemen (Marcio & Marilo) with many years of experience covered the work area and cleaned afterward without rushing to ensure quality of installation. They are tight, well-constructed & beautifully installed! I think I am already realizing some savings on my energy bill but will know more as I review my energy bills for several more months. As far as the windows go, I haven't had any issues but I have no doubt that American Energy Maters/Bob will care for any issues that may arise in the future with their lifetime warranty. Great company who I strongly recommend if you ever have a need for replacement windows!!

No high pressure sales tactics. Bob gave me a good price upfront. His guys came and installed all of my windows in 1 day. They stayed later to finish up all the inside work and they were able to come finish the outside work the next day without me having to stay home another day. I am a professional residential real estate property manager and this is my email message to Bob Timbers, owner of American Energy Masters, on October 17, 2017 after contracting with another company for work at one of my management properties in Arlington, VA:Bob,I talked with you by phone mid afternoon on Tuesday, August 31 asking for siding proposal at (street and street number redacted) Arlington, VA 22201. From my past experience working with you, knowing you are not timely, I was not expecting paperwork for at least a week and Labor Day weekend having Monday, September 4 as likely cover excuse for you I put my expectation into the week following that. I made several follow-up calls leaving voice mail messages for you along the way in the interest of diligence on my end. By mid September I decided to stop follow-up calls to you, let it play out naturally and pursue other contractors.Your industry is known for its practitioners' unreliability and dismal responsiveness. I now have proposals in hand and they were not easy to get. In the process several more contractors went to the wayside joining you. But you indeed take the cake! And I admit I am envious that life is so good for you guys that you can blow off qualified, paying customers so casually without thought. Really remarkable.
