Value Dry did my waterproofing almost 2 years ago. All is still dry and doing well so the work they did was great!I also signed up up for their maintenance service and the person that came out Joshua B. (Josh) was absolutely amazing. I signed up thinking that once I leaned what they do I would cancel and do it myself but that will not be the case due to the service that I received. He took his time and explained in great detail about my system and what to look out for as well as what he was going to do.He did a very through job of cleaning the sump pumps and flushing out the debris. He showed me before and after. There was a problem spot due to the way my house is structured and the way the water was flowing into one of the stairwell drains. He devised a solution and provided a fix right then and there. Although the service was completed about a month ago, after the storm that blew through yesterday his fix really worked!I was extremely grateful for the service and will not be cancelling but keeping my annual maintenance plan. it is not inexpensive but based on the time and work that Josh put in, even without the extra fix, is really something that is necessary after seeing what was done. Thanks again Josh!

I recently lost power and I was loosing sleep because the high water alarm I put on top of my sump pump basin went off. I called Value Dry and they came out and replaced my "builders grade” plastic sump pump the next day with their cast iron PumpSwappers Sump Pump and Battery Back Up Sump Pump combination kit to protect my finished basement when I lose electricity and I learned it will also alert me if my electric sump pump malfunctions. The service tech also explained to me that I need to contact my homeowners insurance and add a sump pump rider to cover my personal belongings and finishings should there be a primary sump pump failure or prolonged power outage that causes damage to my basement. Value Dry was clean, prompt and professional. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a quality sump pump, battery back up sump pump, annual basement maintenance plan or a basement waterproofing system. To boot, because I decided to have ValueDry out once a year to perform a maintenance on my basement waterproofing systems to ensure proper functionality, my new pumps have a replacement warranty for the lifetime I have ValueDry out once a year to perform the preventative maintenance on my basement. You can see the difference in the pictures between my existing plastic pump which weighed less than half their cast iron pump. It was obvious when the tech water tested the pump that it pumped more water out faster as well. Thanks ValueDry!

Met with Tom who explained the process and went over pricing, he kept giving us discounts so we got to the price we had budgeted for the work. On the scheduled work day, Nardi and his team arrived on time and were quick and efficient in handling the waterproofing of our basement. They did an amazing job, better than I imagined, and even took care of my sump pump pit and added a cover. They went over everything before getting started and we were so surprised they finished in 1/2 day as it was estimated it may take 1-3 days! Tom said they would be able to finish in a day and he was right. We highly recommend Value Dry!

My sump pump battery wore out during the recent heavy rainstorms (1/12/2024) and the team of Tyler and Markland came the next day and replaced it. They were very professional, prompt and proficient. Absolutely terrible experience to work with. They NEVER pulled permits which has caused our family many headaches. They also had to come back multiple times to fix stupid things, like the pipe not being dug low enough. Don’t waste your money, there are plenty of other options out there.On top of all of that, they did such a bad job with the concrete that were now in a battle against the company to come fix it since we can lay flooring on it. Overall just a pain to deal with.

Just had Roger and his crew complete our drain system which was installing a new exterior drain outside of our basement door which they connected to our existing sump pump system also installed by VD12 years ago. Value Dry is receiving a 5 star rating from me based on the professionalism used in handling the misdiagnosis of my issue and the excellent foreman and crew that completed the work in my home! My situation involved a puddle in my basement coming in under a door from the outside. Be aware that the estimate took about 3 hours and ended with them telling me that this is a classic ground water issue. Then there was high pressure sales pitch offering a significant discount for signing that day. Although I did not like being pushed into a decision, I trusted the companies reputation and moved forward to get this resolved as I didn't want a bigger issue to ensue. The job involved 1)removing 18 LF. of concrete floor 2)removing drywall 3ft high 3)installing a sump pump and french drain.The foreman in charge of my job was Austin. He was knowledgeable, kind and professional. He reviewed the job with me prior to starting as well as upon completion. After grinding the floor and exposing the wall Austin, Josh and Donovan realized that a pipe next to the door was leaking. They immediately called me to explain that there was a leaking pipe and ground water was not causing the puddle I was concerned about. I was frustrated that the problem was misdiagnosed by the salesman/estimator (who was certain I had a ground water issue), but understood that pipes are behind walls and it was difficult to know. I spoke with the salesman and he was able to offer a discount from my original estimate to help deal with the leaking pipe. Since a trench was already dug and a great team was present we continued with the installation. The work was done well and again I can't say enough wonderful things about Austin, Josh and Donovan! They were an A+ team!

I had an unusual leak from my basement window egress. Value dry came up with a plan of attack and solved the issue. They were efficient, clean, and professional. About a month later I noticed some water leaking and called them right away. Needless to say I was concerned as I had already redone the carpet and drywall. Danny from Value Dry called to reassure me that they would figure it out and take care of it immediately. He came out quickly, identified the issue definitively, fixed it, tested to confirm it was fixed, and did a beautiful job repairing the drywall and painting for me. A week later and it was like it never happened. Danny and Value Dry are a company you can trust to stand behind their work and take care of their customers. Sometimes unexpected issues happen, but it is how a company responds and corrects an issue that really shows you how much they care about the quality of their work and their customer’s experience. I just had a sump pump replaced and my other pumps serviced by Raul Garcia. He did a great job servicing the current pumps and quickly replaced a pump that was no longer working. This is my fourth time using Value Dry and Raul was part of the team that helped install the drainage that fixed my leaking basement a couple of years ago. He was on time and professional.

You schedule us for an inspection, yet no one showed up! I spook to two different people at your number and no one can provide me information if your inspector will show up. Why have a call center if they can't help you?!You messaged me saying our appointment is confirmed. On top of the confirmation email and text! Yet no one showed!We rearranged our Saturday to accommodate this appointment. Because you demand both my husand and I be here. Why make an appointment if you can't keep the appointment?Why would anyone want to do business with a company like this?!Do better as a business! This is horrible business practice!

I contacted Value Dry via a contractor referral site where they had excellent reviews to waterproof our basement & install an egress window in our basement. It took them days to respond. That was the first red flag. When they did respond via the referral app, they said “Good morning, Thank you for reaching out to Value Dry Waterproofing, unfortunately we have been unable to reach you but will keep trying…”No one from Value Dry tried to reach me. That was the first real contact from them. According to the referral site, all contact should be done via the referral portal for everyone’s protection.When I spoke to the person to make an appointment, they insisted that “all homeowners” be present for the inspection & that we needed to set aside 2.5 hours for it. They would not make the appointment unless we were willing to commit to those conditions.So Shane, their inspector came by, showed us movies to explain everything, then spent roughly 1.5 hours looking things over then measuring & drawing diagrams & working up a proposal.Then he sat me down to explain it all, go over the proposal & answer any questions.His initial “MSRP”, that’s what he called it, was for $31,085.25.When I balked, he quickly started lowering the price. For the egress window & well the price was $20,000!!He offered to price match any other offer we obtained for the waterproofing, which he managed to lower from $12,000 to near $8,000 because we didn’t want this or that or absolutely need this or that. I felt like I was at a car dealership & negotiating the price & options for a new car.Then I asked about the $500 off offer mentioned on their website & how do we obtain that? Shane replied, you just did, you asked. So again, we felt like Shane just wasn’t upfront with us. Everything was a sales thing.Shane left me feeling like he was more interested in up selling us, than helping us solve our problems. He could fix our basement water issues but the priority was profit.Shane arrived promptly at 4:00pm & left at 7:30pm.We were flabbergasted that this company had so much time & effort to spend on this. Again, it reminded me of the time and effort it takes to purchase a car. Too much time, too much money, & I felt kind of abused by this company by the time Shane left.Guess what, we aren’t hiring them. We prefer bottom line up front.Caveat Emptor!!UPDATE:We have since hired another company that came in after Value Dry (see my other reviews to see who we hired) and they have excellent reviews (not just from me). Their salesman did a thorough evaluation, explained everything, offered a larger scope of work (comparing apples to apples) without trying to sell fancy unneeded add ons. Their price was still thousands of dollars lower than Value Dry. Their guys did excellent work. Whatever defense the Owner of Value Dry gives & does not want me to judge them by price or the amount of time their salesman (who was a gentleman) wasted, it ALL figures into a review (that’s business Philip R). The owner does not get to determine what customers put in reviews no matter what he thinks.So again, caveat emptor or as Sy Sims used say "An educated consumer, is our best customer!"

I called to make an appointment to get a free estimate. The day of my appointment comes and it is past my appointment time. I call to check on the status of my appointment and the lady that answers the phone said she could not find my appointment.I made changes to my work schedule to get this appointment/estimate as soon as possible so I can get the repairs needed done.The customer service experience was terrible, especially if you say your company has been open to business for over 10 years.I do not recommend this company.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The team was able to do a next-day French drain and sump pump at the best price. They walked me through the mechanics of the system and spared no details so I felt informed and confident about its maintenance. A large, professional team came and were done in a few hours. Wonderful experience with Brittany Spears and her team. Used them once back in April 2021 to install a sump pump, and then subsequently had water in a different part of the basement. Had an appointment scheduled for an inspection and quote. I was called on the day of my appointment about one hour past the scheduled appointment time, to be told no one was coming because a few of the inspectors was out sick. I let them reschedule for two days later. I got a call the next day to confirm and was told the owner named James would be coming to do my inspection the next day so I should expect the “white glove treatment”. I was excited! Well…. After waiting more than an hour past the appointment time, no call, no show!!! I called to see where James was. I was toldno one was coming and they were trying to locate the inspector! I canceled. NO THANK YOU! Don’t book with these guys. I wasted two days with them. So unprofessional and unorganized. Not reliable.
