Backyard DeckWe contracted with Atlantis to build us a 20 foot deck for our new house. Mina and Anthony were great at helping us envision what we wanted and nailing down the details to make it a reality. Francisco, Oscar, and others built the deck in no time, accommodating our last minute additions and changes with the utmost professionalism. We had a couple of issues with gate latches that the team was happy to come back to address afterwards. We're delighted with the work they did and have made great use of the deck since they finished it. If you are looking to build a new deck or renovate an old one, we'd wholeheartedly recommend Atlantis.

Anthony and his team saved our project! They jumped in when we were desperate and in a situation where our bathroom and laundry room was half finished and poorly done by an initial contractor.We interviewed several contractors to take over the job and then we met Anthony, where we were immediately impressed by his professionalism and understanding for how to proceed. Quite frankly, we were alarmed with all the elements that needed to be redone but given Anthony’s understanding on how to do the job right, his team swiftly jumped to action and finished our project in a matter of weeks.Denis in particular, was an amazing and talented worker. He and the rest of Anthony’s team was patient with us as we had to rethink and rework the initial layout to ensure that our bathroom and laundry room’s layout and final touches would work for our family’s needs.Eventually we had to accept that not every detail could be made perfect without completely starting over, but we are very happy that they achieved good results, they did what they said they would do, and within the budget and timeframe expected. Towards the end, they acknowledged that some of the finish details could have been better, and greater attention to detail would have resulted in us providing an excellent review, rather than a very good one. Overall, we are very happy as with all the challenges of the project, Atlantis Design came through as the best choice for us and we hope you to choose them for your home improvement needs.Service: Bathroom remodeling

[Edit at the end]We've used Atlantis Design twice now and will continue to use them. They are prompt, professional, and their workers and very courteous and respectful. They did a fantastic job finishing our basement bathroom - it's now our favorite bathroom to use! They also repaired our front gate and it looks beautiful and functions well. Like any contractor, you must inspect their work to ensure they got everything you wanted done. I pointed out a couple things for the gate and they sent their guys back the next day and spent the whole day carefully ensuring the gate exceeded our expectations. Will use again in the future!Edit: after posting this review, we tried to contact them for additional work several times, all of which went unanswered. They were responsive until they weren't. Don't know what happened. Completely ghosted my wife and I.

Our experience with Atlantis Design and Build was excellent from beginning to end. They worked with us to develop a contract according to our needs and design. Of the six contractors we got quotes from, they were the only contractor who suggested they could build a custom designed pantry that was very important to us. Mina was a pleasure to work with and provided design guidance whenever we asked for it. The project manager and his entire crew were courteous, thoughtful, responsive to our requests and mindful of our timeline. The project began on the date we were given and ended in time for an important family event, in spite of our taking a two-week vacation in the middle of the project. They cleaned up inside at the end of every day and outside at least every other day. They are definitely customer-focused. The company did good work to remodel our 3 bathrooms. They had good suggestions for how to lay out bathrooms, and how to turn a closet into a bathroom. They incorporated our suggestions into the design. There were a few problems with the construction including an improperly vented toilet and a problem with the exhaust vents. They came out to fix these problems and I'm now happy with the work. The company is under new ownership and management, the new people are responsive and worked to make me satisfied with the final product.Service: Bathroom remodeling

I was very pleased with the work and professionalism of Atlantis Design and Build. They built 1500 plus deck and pavalion as well as installed professional grade outdoor heaters to ceiling fans to replacing my window to install a French door to access my deck. The personal care from the owner to the builders all were professional,l and well skilled. The cleaned up after each day and delivered on time. Anthony and Mina were extremely professional, responsive and delivered.high quality work in a timely manner. They were a pleasure to do business with and were excellent about answering questions. Their team painted the trim of our house and dental molding, painted the fence, replaced an area with wood rot, cleaned gutters. After the job was done and we had paid we had a few questions and they went out of their way to address it. They were really top notch. The Atlantis crew is top notch. Very friendly and easy to have around while we both worked at home. Arrived on time and worked late. Craftsmanship is excellent. They built a beautiful deck with covered area, added (hand built) railings to wrap around porch and updated with trex, painted inside and out, replaced light fixtures and master vanity, added walkway around house, and moved washer and dryer from basement to main level. We refurbished our basement earlier this year after a minor flooding incident (had to toss carpet and baseboards). Anthony and his team were very prompt, able to fit us in very quickly after initial estimates. We are very happy with Atlantis Design and Build. We hired them to assist in making our home safer for us, specifically by making everything accessible from the first floor. Anthony and Mina were very helpful in this manner, using their combined experience with ADA-compliant building regulations to turn our half bathroom into a full bath with a walk-in shower and safety bench. They are very friendly and treated us like a family. Foreman Lucas was very experienced and extremely helpful, which was reflected in the cooperation and harmony of the workers. The entire team were all very polite, considerate, and cheerful. There was open dialog throughout the process, they were on-time, and responsive to our questions and concerns, not just explaining what they were doing, but why. Outstanding customer service! I had extensive fire damage from top to bottom to my townhouse. The insurance company estimated 6 months to repair the damage. We had the wood deck replaced with Trex composite materials in Ricky Harbor color, and they painted the existing railing to match the composite color and posts along with the matching benches. They also installed garage storage racks and gear tracks, as well as the sliding glass doors leading out to the deck. We are very happy with their customer service, pricing, and friendly/professional staff. We will definitely hire them again for future projects!

This company canvassed the neighborhood and left a good impression and a brochure. Also provided an honest assessment of damage to my home and what repairs were required. When we had a storm and some displaced siding and rake boards, they were able to fix very quickly and provided a courtesy inspection of other damage. Will be using them again.
