We used Capitol Improvements to replace the room and gutters on our house. Lance came and did a thorough walk-through, explained our options and pricing, and provided lots of great information. He answered my questions and didn't try to pressure me into signing that day. After getting some additional quotes we decided to go with Capitol Improvements. Scheduling was quick and the work crews did excellent work. A few neighbors also remarked about the great work of the team, working into the night to get the job done in one day. I recently had my roof replaced and am so happy with the decision I made to go with Capitol Improvements. Capitol Improvements is a family owned company that really cares about their customers. The owner, Patrick (Pat) Jewell is involved in every step of the process from beginning to end. He checked in with me to ensure everything was going okay or to ask if I had any questions about the process. Lance is Pat's son that came to my house. His detailed presentation far exceeded the other roofing companies I met with. Although I wish the shingle color I originally selected was available (discontinued), I am very pleased with the alternative color I selected.Of the three roofing companies we received estimates from, Capitol Improvements was the only one that didn't try to force me to make a decision on the same day they came out. They also offered Everything that one of the other company's offered for thousands of dollars less.The work crew was professional and courteous. Everything was done professionally and they did a great job cleaning up. Absolutely loved this company, from the initial phone call to the very end everything was flawless. We had gotten several quotes from other companies and this one was so upfront, quick and did not try to upsell us on unnecessary items like the others did. They have amazing warranty and provided pictures of the roof while they replaced all the old parts and to show the quality of the work they did. I probably had my roof installed on the hottest day in July but that crew got it done in one day all hands on deck. When they were done there was zero trace that anyone had been here just a bran new roof. Prices are unbeatable without sacrificing quality and its a family owned business!

My roof sprung a leak during the peak of the pandemic. The team at Capitol Improvements worked with me to find a solution that worked including having to work around supply chain issues for critical materials etc. Their office staff, roofing team and management could not have been nicer or more responsive. I got 5 quotes for my roof replacement Capitol Improvements was both the lowest and the best in terms of explaining everything to me and breaking down all the costs thoroughly including for different options for insulation or the various materials we could use. We used Capitol Improvements to replace all our gutters and downspouts which included gutter guards. They were able to help us match the color of the materials to the house. The job looks great and they did it in a half day. The workers were courteous, very careful around all our plants and outside furniture, and they cleaned up flawlessly. Prior to selecting Capitol Improvements, we price compared with two other big companies and Capitol Improvement’s overall price was 20% lower than those companies. We had a very good experience with Capitol Improvements replacing the aging roof on our townhouse. I found them through excellent online reviews and I did not experience anything to doubt those. Pat, Lance, and Seth were all very responsive even by text or email. Lance came out initially to look at our roof, provided quotes on their different warranty tiers and did not try to pressure or upsell anything. Almost as soon as we got approval from our HOA for the exterior modification, which came with a different color from what was originally submitted, Seth had materials delivery scheduled. The install date ended up sliding due to the weather forecast, but on the day itself, the crew was on time and had the job done in less than a full day. Some of the big name companies were very expensive and their representatives spent a lot of time trying to convince me why I should not use other smaller companies. I am SO happy we found Capitol Improvements. We had quotes from two other companies, but luckily found Capitol Improvements at the RIGHT time. We knew are roof needed to be replaced, and soon! My wife and I had Capitol Improvements install coil wrap on our exterior wood trim as well as new gutters for the entire house. Pat & Mitch came out to our house to provide us with an estimate. They provided us with all the information we needed, including total estimated cost as well as time to completion. My wife and I did our due diligence and found Capitol Improvements to have fair and competitive pricing in comparison to other companies in the area. It was the customer service and quality craftsmanship that Capitol Improvements offered that won us over. The coil wrap on the exterior trim and the new gutters look fantastic. The coil wrap over the exterior trim took about a day and a half. The gutters took less than a day. Not only was the project completed quickly, but the quality and craftsmanship is present across all the work on the house. Ryan, the Crew Lead for Capitol Improvements, provided superior craftsmanship with the coil wrap work with great attention to detail.
