We had some old termite damage that some contractors had done a horrible job of "repairing" before we bought our house. A few years later when the floor started sagging we called a few contractors to give us some bids. John was great in explaining everything that needed to be done and how he would go about fixing it. When speaking to him you can just tell you are going to get good quality work from him and his crew, and after we saw what the last crew did we wanted it done right. And it was! And on time! The results are very impressive. I will call on him for any future job I come across. Thanks John!One year later - I had John out to my new home to install new flooring throughout. Again, I am very happy with the results and working with John is always a pleasure. I had a Water leak coming from Ceiling and my friend referred me to Paradise home improvement where I had the opportunity to speak to John one of the representatives. I am a first home owner and this was very new for me. John and his team provided me with excellent customer service from Guiding me to the all process, helping me find the materiel I needed when necessary and doing an excellent job at my house with repairing ceiling, removing molding, painting and repairing my floors. My husband and I needed to renovate a bathroom but were worried about the project because we were scarred from how long a recent kitchen renovation took. Jonathan promised that he’d be on site daily to ensure our bathroom renovation went smoothly and on time. Not only was he on site daily with his crew but he was always in communication with us making sure we were happy with progress. We met with Jonathan at the recommendation of my aunt, and while we usually get several estimates for big projects, we were impressed that we were quoted an estimate on the spot. Jonathan gave us thorough guidance on what materials we needed to choose and how much of each, and sent us everything in writing. I felt like he completely understood our vision for our new bathroom, and he and his team executed it beautifully. When we hit a couple of snags (due to it being an old house and some surprises when the room was demoed), he was able to quickly let us know and offer a new approach. I contacted Jon and Paradise Home Improvement after being ghosted by a contractor we were going to hire to do some renovations in our new home. Jon wasted no time meeting with us and was prompt in providing an estimate for the work we wanted done, which included bathroom and kitchen renovations, new hardwood floors, and some various plumbing, electrical, and painting work.His tile guys are top notch as is his countertop guy. He installed a new quartz countertop and we could barely even find the seam. The workmanship was incredible. He has a new flooring guy who installed our engineered hardwood floors flawlessly. His painters did an excellent job with our cabinets and in our house.During the months we worked together, I got to know Jon pretty well and can say that he is not your typical contractor:* Jon was very accessible, always reachable by phone or text to discuss an issue, provide advice, or answer a question.* He has a lot of integrity; if there was a hiccup in the process or in the work, he would make sure it was fixed to our liking even if it cost him out of his own pocket. That’s something you rarely find with contractors.* He takes enormous pride in his company and the work he does. He’s not happy until the customer is happy.* He’s a very likable guy. Honest, humble, and respectful.I would not hesitate to contact Jon and Paradise for future projects. I will try and add pictures of some of the work soon. Thank you Jon for transforming our house.

The work I've had done on my home by Paradise has been nothing short of amazing. Jonathan has always been courteous, very punctual and extremely professional. After speaking with multiple contractors regarding the desire to have an electric fireplace, a wall built out from an existing wall and shelving installed, I immediately hired Paradise due to not only his professionalism, but Jonathan asked me multiple questions that the others did not. That's how I knew he was the right contractor for the project! Everything was completed on time and within budget. During the install, Jonathan also provided recommendations regarding construction and even gave decorative tips. His work is pristine- I was very pleased with the end result. I called them initially because my bathroom floor felt very soft and spongy. they weren’t my first contractor I called, all the others told me they couldn’t tell me the issue or the cause. They told me they would have to start the work without knowing a price. This was very difficult for me as I don’t have unlimited money. So I reached out to Paradise and Jonathan came over. He spent 1 1/2 hours for free searching for the cause and inspecting the issue. My wax ring was leaking and caused my subfloor to rot. Jonathan gave me a solid price to remodel the bathroom. He told me the possible up charges that may arise and in what scenario they would arise. I really appreciate companies like this that are run by honesty and hard work. Thank a lot Paradise. You guys are now my go to.

I would recommend Paradise Home Improvement as a General Contractor. My sill plate and rim board at the back of the house was rotted through. Jonathan had to jack up the house to replace the boards. Not a simple task. He was very professional, communicated very well during the project and cleaned the area when he was finished. My husband and I had a major problem with our basement, it stunk really bad from mold and water, before calling Jonathan at paradise home improvement, we had hired another contractor, what a mistake we paid him in excess of 15k to fix the problem. He did a little a bit of work and disappeared. Then we called Jonathan at paradise home Improvement, He showed up on time and after a thorough inspection he explained the problem in detail, and explained how he was going to remedy the issue.Boy where we impressed, his guys showed on time and they worked super hard digging all around the house, washing the mud off the walls and showing us all the cracks in our foundation. Then they treated the foundation walls, changed all the wet insulation, took take of the mold issue and installed new drywall, trims and paint and new floor. The work was perfect. I mean perfect. We engaged John to do a rather complicated job at our mother's house. The central supporting beam had begun to sag over time and needed to be repaired, raised and leveled. We also needed the work to be inspected and approved by the City. John was very patient, and worked with us to source a structural engineer to do our plan submittal. The structural work was done by Paradise in a two week period (moving utilities, etc) and all was approved. That, plus the touch up work afterwards, and a quick deck railing repair, were all done with care and diligence. We especially appreciated how clean they kept the townhouse during work. We would be certain to hire John and his crew again should the need arise. We highly recommend them.

I called These guys to remodel my kitchen. After speaking with a few companies around town I had a good idea of how things were supposed to work. I got in touch with John last just to make sure I had my I’s dotted. When we met his process was engaging and i could tell he was a true professional. My wife and I felt so confident with him we gave him our approval on the spot. I wanted to make sure the job came out as planned before I left this review, so I’ve been waiting and as expected I’m blown away. We had the bar set pretty high after seeing his portfolio but John and his crews made construction look like art I’m truly flabbergasted.

My basement flooded from ground water, which of course insurance doesn’t cover. I met with John the owner and he explained a little more than i knew about insurance companies and how they work. Fortunate for me, John already had a relationship with my adjuster. Long story short Paradise was able to get my foundation waterproofed and basement remodeled thanks to my adjuster who was able to make an exception due to some technicalities. I highly recommended this company.

I have o be very honest, when I met Jonathan, I was weary about giving him one of my absolute most important part of my home.LOOKS CAN BE VERY DECEIVING. People, do not be fooled by his looks and age, this guy has been working as a carpenter for his father since age of 12 and he is amazing with finish work.He did an amazing job on our bathroom floor and fixed it so nicely that after he installed the tiles and all the the other extra accent pieces that I couldn’t believe that this was my bathroom.The kitchen came out better than anything or any picture or any design that I have ever seen. As I mentioned he is a finish carpenter and he built me a kitchen worth probably over $150,000.00 yet I paid no where close to that figure.If you don’t hire him, due to his age or what not then you have made yourselves a huge dis service. He is awesome, polite, clean and his is a true old time builder due to his working experience with his father.
