When you experience a home tragedy and have to call someone for help, I cannot recommend these guys enough!!!!An unexpected household disaster (like a malfunctioning ice maker cable) turned a regular Tuesday morning into sheer panic once we realized that the cable had come undone from the ice- maker overnight and was spuing water. The water from the kitchen spread into the master bedroom, hallway, living room and it was raining in our basement (from the water soaking through the subfloor and going through the wire holes).Once we stopped the water source, panic set in because I had NO IDEA who to call. This has never happened to me or anyone I know of. So I posted on facebook and my old neighbor, Jon Haas (who works for Rainbow) called me. After speaking with me on the phone, he reached out to a one of the employees (who he knew lived near me). Cody was there in less than 30 minutes. He came in and looked around and called in to Jonathan who at our house with equipment right around 9 am.The guys cleaned the basement up and set up fans and a dehumidifier up in the basement. They also moved all the wet items (which was a lot of boxes, bins etc) onto plastic. Upstairs they had to remove baseboards and shoe molding, move furniture, get fans positioned and I'm sure a bunch of stuff I didn't even know or realize.Basically my point is that they were AMAZING! Jonathan came to me with a plan of what they were going to do. One of the guys even came to the house each day to check in on the drying progress.I was extremely happy with how well everything turned out. We're about to start the installation of the new flooring within the next week or so. I believe we may have even saved the subflooring since we were able to get the drying process started so quickly. (We'll find out once we rip up the hardwood and carpet.)I would hire these guys in a heartbeat for water mediation!And honestly, I had Rainbow clean my carpets prior to me moving into my home 6 years ago, I just never knew they handled water damage!

Because of the good reviews, I called this company about two weeks ago due to significant water in my basement. They immediately sent someone over to get the information necessary to give us an estimate. A week later, they had still not sent an estimate. I called multiple times and finally received a call back. The man that I spoke to said that they weren't able to write the estimate because they needed to know how big the basement was and the extent of the damage. I'm not sure why they would waste my time sending someone over if that person was not going to get the information necessary to write the estimate. I gave the man on the phone the information that he asked for and he said that he would get me the estimate asap. He did not. I called him today again and he said they were too busy to do the job. You think they would've called me to let me know that! Now after waiting for them for two weeks, I have mold growing in the basement and the cost of the clean up will double. (According to another company that just came to assess the basement). I obviously do not recommend this company. So poorly run.

Your tech Cody did an outstanding job. He was efficient,courteous and professional. The office staff also did a great job of scheduling and we're very flexible. Everyone was always positive and upbeat!I would definitely have Rainbow do the carpets again when the time comes.

New to the area, I asked for recommendations for a carpet cleaner and two people told me to use RI. I had a specific day that I needed the cleaning to be done and although the schedule was full they reworked things to accommodate my needs. Cody was the technician who came to my house. He was well mannered, courteous and very thorough. A nice guy and a hard worker. Very impressed with the service from beginning to end. Highly recommend.

Wow! I wanted to let you know that we are so impressed with Rainbow International out of Stevensville, Maryland. Our hot water heater burst in the middle of the night and flooded our home. We contacted Rainbow International and they showed up right away! Everyone from the woman who scheduled us to the crew were polite, sympathetic, knowledgable, professional, friendly and efficient. The crew came right away and cleared out the wet flooring, baseboards etc. moved all the furniture, set up the fans and dehumidifiers. The crew handled everything so professionally and worked together so well. They came back with the same professionalism and efficiency to take down the equipment. We were so impressed and want to thank Jonathan Viers and his crew for their level of service. It was so appreciated during a stressful time. Thank you!

I have never had this kind of problem before. I received their phone number from my insurance agent I called after hours. My called was answered and within an hour I had a team of 2 techs here. They were polite professional and easy to understand. Great Service from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend them.

I had a fire in my house on Thursday evening contacted Rainbow on Friday and by Saturday morning they had a large crew out to start cleaning the fire damage to my home. The owners of Rainbow could not be any nicer, they are extremely caring and understanding working hard to make sure the work is done properly in removing the smoke smell and debris from my home. I feel for anyone that has to go through this but rest assure Rainbow is the company you want to call to help during this difficult time. We had a sewer backup in April. Called Rainbow and they were extremely prompt and effective. Sewage damage was cleaned up and removed very fast, the workers were extremely friendly, and the follow ups were throughout. Hopefully we never need their services again, but if so, they'll always be our first call!

Very helpful. They are open on a Saturday and were so helpful. They really are a community centered business. I called they helped me solve the problem without even having to come out to me. They were very busy after a huge storm in our area but still made me feel important and a priority. Thay saved me a lot of money and time and headaches. A long overdue, high praise review for Rainbow International, for something I would prefer to forget. 2 years ago a pipe burst in my house flooding everything. The team from Rainbow were my first-responders who came with the commercial heavy-duty equipment, and sucked up a lot of the water, set up the big extraction machines to dry out my house. Most everything was ruined, unfortunately, but the kind and compassionate team from Rainbow made a nightmare situation a little easier to stomach. They came back once things were dried out to begin the restoration process, with cleaning and mold removal, so the contractor could begin his work.If you find yourself in a similar situation, I absolutely recommend Rainbow International to be a first-rate business who will efficiently and properly handle your needs.
