I'm not normally one to write reviews, but I feel my experience with Exterior Max warrants recognition for Brian, Adam, and everyone involved, including and the crew that did the actual work.Brian made the entire process easy and stress-free, and Adam was super helpful arranging everything around my crazy work schedule.Brian went above and beyond to be available and accessible throughout the entire process to answer all my questions and address my concerns, and his professional, no-pressure approach made us feel completely at ease. He actually even helped us choose the color. Through his efforts, we were able to have the entire re-roof covered by our homeowners insurance.He didn't blow smoke and make fantastic promises - he was completely up front and honest about our chances of getting the cost covered, and was actually as surprised as we were when the final payment came through.The crew was professional, friendly and courteous. It took them a day and a half to completely strip and re-roof the house and garage, because the roof on the house is very high and very steep, with several dormers (see the attached photos). They were hard-working and focused, and even seemed to enjoy their work. At one point one of them started singing from the peak of the roof, and the rest joined in. Clean-up was continuous throughout the day, and they worked until the daylight started to fade. Before they left each day, there was a concerted effort by several of the crew to double- and triple check not only our yard, but the neighbors' as well for any scraps or trash, and most importantly, nails. When they left, you would've been hard-pressed to find any evidence of their presence anywhere on the ground.Overall, an entirely satisfying and stress-free experience.

Brian Kelly and Exterior Max did a magnificent job on our new roof. Brian was absolutely outstanding from start to finish on every detail about our project. Brian put us at ease and assured us that the process of the roof project would be simple. Brian was excellent with communicating with us through out the entire project and was extremely knowledgeable about the process and products used. He was able to answer every question or concern we had along the way. You can tell that Brian genuinely cares about his customers. Let me start off by saying that working with Brian Kelly and the whole team at Exterior max, It was a pleasent experience, from initial contact, to scheduling, to finished product.Brian is a great guy and knows his product. He was helpful and available to my many crazy questions throughout lol. Brian was at my house on the day roofer were there. Just to make sure I was happy with the progress. I have to say that i think of Brian as a friend now. I connected with him on that kind of level, and i don't do that with too many people. I am referring him w/exteriormax. to as many people as i can, just because of how he and the rest of the crew worked so hard for my approval. We contracted Exteriormax to replace our aging roof as well as gutters. Adam was very professional, and promised that the work would be completed in a day. Promises were lived up to, and the roof on the house, garage, and shed look absolutely amazing! And yes, in one day! We had our roof and gutters replaced on our historic home in Emmitsburg, MD by ExteriorMax. We had several estimates but were very impressed by Adam Shaikh. His knowledge and explanation of the products, a very clear plan, and how professional he was sold us! Within a week the crew arrived and completed the job in 3 days. We had an insurance claim after a storm - my parents are elderly and fell behind on coordinating paperwork for the solar panels on the roof. Project Manager Brandon King supplied superior service throughout the entire roof replacement effort. His product and process knowledge was exemplary, and his customer service was both timely and exhaustive. Our project was perhaps more complex than most, in that several other entities required coordination; e.g. homeowners insurance, solar system removal/replacement, as well as gutter guard removal/replacement. We had a great experience with ExteriorMax and rep Vaughn Meddings, who managed the project from start to finish. His sales pitch seemed too good to be true at first, ie they would work with our insurance company to get our ~15 year old roof replaced at little to no cost for us. But the whole project played out as Vaughn said it would, and their install crew did the job in a single day. This company has a startup feel to it, with a core of young and ambitious guys who seem to care a lot about customer reviews and put client satisfaction over squeezing out a few extra $$$

I'm usually reluctant and weary of anyone who knocks on our door offering this or that at no cost, however the team at Exteriormax proved to be the exception to that rule. Brian and the entire team with Exteriormax not only did what they said they could do, get us a new roof at little or no cost, they also made the entire process easy to understand, and never made any promises they could not keep.In fact from working with Brian, I learned they really don't make any promises at all, they just explain the process step by step, and let you know that you will never be locked into doing anything that could be detrimental to you or your situation.Brian our Exteriormax project manager showed up for the initial free inspection and found enough damage from a recent storm to indicate that our Insurance company might be able to cover a new roof for us at no out of pocket cost. Together we called the insurance company to make the claim, and then Brian met with the insurance adjustor to determine that we could get our roof replaced, and that our Insurance would cover all costs. During the initial meeting, Brian explained the possible responses from our insurance company and that we would not be locked into a situation that could lead to unexpected costs. He let me know we always had the option to stop the process if we weren't satisfied. Like I stated they don't make any false promises, but they will do everything they can to get your roofing project with as much cost covered by your insurance as they can.Once approved, Adam with Exteriormax worked with us to get our project scheduled, and the roofing crew showed up on time and was able to complete removing our old roof and getting the new one completed in less than one day. I was completely satisfied and impressed with the quality and ethics of the Exteriormax roofing crew's work.Bottom line if someone from Exteriormax knocks on your door give them a chance to help you out, they will not disappoint you. In our case, we got a new roof with costs completely covered by our Insurance company. Thanks again to Brian and everyone at Exteriormax for a great experience.
