We had S & L A/C and Heating out to our house to assist us with installing a new Honeywell Home thermostat we purchased. Our ordered Honeywell was starting to malfunction. Being that I had never installed a thermostat before, I contacted them for assistance. Their staff were a pleasure to work with from scheduling a day/time all the way through the appointment itself. I’m so thankful for Stephen and his team at S&L for fixing my broken heating. Making an appointment was super easy on the website and the team came out in less than 24 hours. They were flexible when I had to shift the appointment due to a last minute conflict. Stephen spoke to my landlord on the phone and communicated the issue clearly and his recommended solution. He also took detailed photos and explained to me what exactly had happened to cause the issue. His team proceeded to get to work and were able to fix it that same day, working late to get the job done as fast as they could. I also appreciated that they put down mats and wire shoe covers to avoid bringing in dirt and snow. Thank you S&L team! Will absolutely use them again in the future.

My AC unit was down for two days and I finally gave in and asked for a local company to help check it out. The website the company used was easy to book and very transparent. The AC tech, Stephen, was super helpful and explained to me all the parts and services needed to get my AC unit back up and running. I put in the request about 1030PM, they assigned a tech first thing in the morning and came by around 1000am. After getting a hold of me at work to confirm the prices, they came back at 2pm and got the AC back up by 4pm.Highly recommend their services!

We called S&L for a very long overdue dryer vent cleaning. I have nothing but superlatives for their service. They responded promptly to our initial call and sent the technicians out to look at our dryer vents. They sent an estimate for us to approve and they were out the next day. They were courteous,professional, and efficient. We also got a call from the office after they left asking how everything went and if anything could have been improved or better in any way. This is obviously a company that wants to provide good service and does provide good service at a good value.

This company is amazing! Our AC stopped sometime in the afternoon. By the time our house reached 82 degrees inside it was after 5. I called at 12:45 and was given a 1:30-4:30 window and Stephen “JR” was at my door at 1:45. He communicated everything he needed to do and also examined my AC unit and suggested services to help the lifespan of my unit. Pleasantly surprised. Called a couple other places and they seemed annoyed to get a maintenance call vice "please replace my entire hvac".Did not have that with S & L. Quite the opposite. Stephen seemed genuinely happy to take a look at my 12 year old HVAC system. He showed me a few issues with my furnace that were not dire, but definitely need to keep an eye out for, especially since my furnace is approaching the 18 year mark, and given the "quirks" of owning a Levitt home, which I'm all too familiar with at this point.Even though I didn't need work immediately, he gave me a great quote if I wanted to move ahead with replacing the furnace, with absolutely no hard sell tactics, which made me really appreciate their customer approach.All in all I will most likely use them in the future for my traditional HVAC needs.Service: Heating system maintenance
