5 Star Home Improvements lived up to its name. We have an older home and a detached garage which have large, older and worn-out roofs that were both pitched and peaked in some areas and flat in others. Our gutters were out-dated and needed to be replaced. We looked for months to find a reparable contractor but were frustrated until we learned of 5 Star. They had the expertise and the proper insurance coverage and licensing to take this project. We discussed the options both structurally and financially. The approach and contract were straight forward and fair. My highest compliment is for the team who replaced the roofs and installed new gutters. They were organized, competent, diligent, responsive, polite and hard working. Not only was the structural work well done, I the finishing touches and integration of materials added to the aesthetics of our home. The result is not only one of which we were well satisfied but one that we are proud of.

March 30, 2017 a contract to replace our roof, spouting and touch up our chimneys started based on the date of settlement for our house. Five star home improvement was paid up front by our settlement company. It took this company over 8 months to finish our ROOF. They left walk boards nailed to the top of our roof. Trash in window sills. Tools supplies and wood on our second story roof trash in my yard and ladders and nails on my deck.I have been ever so nice and understanding with this company. I would NEVER reccomend this company for ANYTHING. I am the daughter of a contractor and there is NO excuse for the way business has been conducted by this company. I am still to this day waiting on them to finish and clean up. Every time I call I am told that they will show up tomorrow. The same excuse I was told for over a year. Very sad and disappointing. Absolutely disgusted by the way this played out in purchasing our home.

We had our roof replaced. Our roof did NOT leak prior to having a new roof installed. Now I have had to fix 3 leaks. They won't return my calls. Worst decision ever to use them.
