The men who completed our inspection were thorough, professional, and timely. We called and they were able to see us that day, and we scheduled to have the chimney fixed two weeks afterwards. They were able to accommodate our tough financial position. Installation was very clean and only took a few hours. Everything was explained very well. Very happy with this company and the outcome. Excellent experience with Living Wells Chimney Services! Randy and Angel came out this morning to clean and inspect my chimney. They were very polite, professional, and caring and did an excellent job. They took pride in their work, and did not try to sell me anything I did not need. I will absolutely use this company again to clean my chimney next year, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of chimney services.

I had a small chimney fire and had them inspect the chimney. They recommended not to use until repaired. They gave me an estimate for the work and did make repairs. They were very good with the inspection and doing the work (very clean, well equipped and seemed to know what they were doing. My problem with them is they do not seem to have any idea of book keeping, providing proper receipts for payments, materials used, guarantees that were advertised, etc. I hope they are better with filing their taxes, licenses. They wanted 1/2 up front to schedule work and other half at completion. Problem was they added $100 to the first half AND charged me an additional 3% to pay the credit card fee they have for accepting credit cards. The additional $100 dollars was not mentioned and the card fee was miss stated to be much lower than I was charged (I do not think the customer should be charged for their company paying additional fees, that should be part of the estimate). It has taken several days and attempts to get them to provide a receipt I can use for proof of work to submit to my insurance.Living Wells responded to this post and seemingly scolded me for my review. As I stated I was pleased with their actual work and cleanness of their work. I still am not happy with their book keeping, written portion of their service. I did "contract" for the work to be done at $6500 with it to be paid 1/2 up front, 1/2 at the completion. The first "1/2" was done by credit card over the phone to aid in getting it scheduled and done. That first half amount was actually charged to my card at an amount more than the 1/2 I was told it would be verbally on the phone AND it had a 3% charge added to it to pay a fee the credit card charges the company for use (I was told this would be about $33 dollars on the phone, but turned out to be more when charged to the card). The second 1/2 payment was charged to me and my check made for $3350 at time of completion of the work. I did not receive a receipt (in person or email) that day. Next day I spent most of the day attempting to get receipts for both payments to submit to insurance. The original "receipt" came with a single amount (incorrectly as $6500 with no accurate date of payment. After further contact by me I was sent a refund of the over charge on the second 1/2 payment ($100) and emailed separate "receipts" for both payments. Over payment of first 1/2 payment or the Fee I was charged by them for using a credit card were not reimbursed and did remain on the receipt of payment and the total payment being well over the $6500 contracted. I have never received an itemized listing of material, copy of the limited life time warranty for the flue liner, a way for me to register that limited warranty or with whom it should be registered. As I stated, I did like the workers, their cleanness and I think they did a good job installing. My concern is strictly the bookkeeping, written portions of the company. I wonder how they would standup to an audit of the company books.

We called a few companies and they all were a month booked out. We called them and got a spot within days.guess that should have been a flag.We got an inspection for our new home. They were very friendly I want to make that clear !!The quick inspection estimate was $7,500. We got a second estimate from another much bigger company a month later for the same repairs they are even doing much more like a new smoke chamber and it’s 4,500. So they wanted to charge 3 grand more for the same work and I don’t think that is good business.

Just bought a house and called about having the chimney inspected and cleaned before use. Although it was short notice, Living Well Chimney Services returned my call and scheduled my inspection and cleaning within a few days. The guys were very professional and everything cleaned up and inspected quickly, showing me how everything looked and letting me know the do's and dont's.
