November 2023I’m writing this review for the Veteran’s Restoration Service Company, a full service mold mitigation, and repair contractor. Let me put the bottom line up front…If you have any type of flooding or restoration repair issues, do yourself a favor and Get Vet’s!My issue was simple; My home was flooded by a neighbor’s water heater, damaging my service room and parts of my living room. It was an unexpected small disaster, which left me reeling to find a quality contractor. I started the tangled process of the insurance claim, when I received an unexpected visit from a young man representing Vet’s Restoration. He quickly offered his services, as the company was already repairing another home damaged by the flooding. He was courteous, unassuming, and efficient in providing a verbal and written estimate. Ultimately, I was struck by the fact that he was the company president and CEO.Over the following weeks, his crew painstakingly worked through the multiple phases of the remediation process. They completed the work ahead of schedule, without any surprises or hidden costs, and my home now is even better than before. It was a godsend to find this company, so if you find yourself in a pinch to repair your home, remember, just get vets!Mr. C

If I could give zero stars I would. I hired Veterans Restoration after I had a pipe freeze and break over Christmas. They came and tore out the drywall and insulation and then told me I had to pay for the tear out before they would schedule the repairs. I paid the invoice and now they are saying the repair job is too small to make money and they won’t honor their own repair quote. They stated the only way they would come back is if I agreed to have them paint my entire 3 car garage walls and ceiling for an extra $2000+ vs just the wall and ceiling area that was damaged (only 90 square ft). I had a fantastic experience with veterans restoration. They deconstructed and reconstructed my kitchen tile with replacement tile and repaired damage in my bathroom. Had a freak tornado damage our roof. Veterans Restoration worked closely with my insurance company and made this about as stress free as an insurance claim can be. The roofing team was on time and quick, and professional. Did a wonderful job cleaning up after the demolition of the old roof. I had a massive sewage backup and had no idea where to start. I called Veteran’s restoration and not only were they immediately on their way, they got to work as soon as they arrived. Joeseph was so polite and professional. He communicated what was happening every step of the way. He called every morning to provide an ETA which was wonderful. Joe, Slater and the rest of the crew worked so hard, nonstop until they had to stop for the day. Their attention to detail and work ethic is impressive. I wouldn’t expect anything less from a veteran owned company and they did NOT disappoint. I hope I never have to go through anything like this again, but if I do, they will be my only call. They are totally unprofessional. My parents have been out of their home since Thanksgiving waiting for them to finish and they still are not finish 2/21/23. My parents have decided to terminate their service. My parents are in their 80's and now the home is unlivable. Contact anyone else before thinking about using this service.They did return 2/22/23, to put back the doors and shelves they removed for painting. But the neighbor had to reattach the washer and dryer that was removed for drywall repair and replace the dining room table and chairs that were moved into the living room. A cleaning service had to be hired to remove the dust from all the uncovered surfaces and furniture.Services: Flooring, Painting

We moved to the area about 9 months ago with our new born daughter. My wife and I thought we had found the perfect place to start our family but when we began removing carpet we found an immense amount of black mold underneath. We asked our new landlord about it and he emphatically denied that it was not there when we moved in. After asking a few of our neighbors we finally got to the bottom of it. Apparently the previous tenant had flooded the upstairs and it subsequently leaked through the first floor roof and into the first floor carpets. Our neighbor suggested Veterans Restoration as a solution to our mold problem (as they had previously helped them with some issues). The team here is timely and very professional. They walk you through every step of the process and make sure understand it as well as they do. After only a few hours I felt like I had known the worker all my life. They’re so personable and eager to help. At the end of the day my wife and I received top level service for fair pricing. I would 10,000% recommend this company to any of my family and friends. My husband and I are redoing an entire house and found that the basement had mold everywhere. I contacted Veterans Restoration and the next day Zach had come out to look at it. We were scheduled to have them come the very next day to remove the mold. They were very quick and finished the job in a day, and they did excellent work! Very professional, responsive, and timely. After stormwater flooded our basement, Veteran's showed up the same day I called to start the clean-up process. By the next morning our tech Tavon had done an excellent job removing potential mold damaged baseboard etc and cleaning the carpets. Their speed and attention to detail probably saved us a ton. Had a severe water damage of ceiling and flooring due to toilet overflow at upper level of townhouse. After reporting the problem, Veterans Restoration team was proactive to schedule inspection and to provide required estimates. After having agreement on proposed estimates, they were very prompt and professional to get the mitigation work done. (Note: I am posting the review for my mother, who does not have a Google account.)First, let me explain that I am partially handicapped and only have an outside entrance to my basement. I cannot get down the steps so I depend on workers being honest with me. The first company I hired were done too quickly. There are 4 rooms in my basement having the problem on the walls. It just seemed odd the work to clean up the mold, was done very quickly and costly. A neighbor took pictures and I could see the black showing through the white walls.I did some searching on the computer and came upon a company called Veterans Restoration. I checked on them and I felt comfortable when Adam Weaver, the General Manager, explained to me the process that would take place. I signed up and the following week, he sent two workers around 8 am. They explained to me they would be in my basement most of the day. They went over the step by step process they would be doing in the basement. Late afternoon, the process was finished and they showed me pictures. I couldn’t believe the difference between the 2 companies. The entire team was great! When a shower faucet failed and started bringing my kitchen ceiling down they came out immediately to help even though it was after hours. The employees were great! Always on time, very professional and took pride in everything they did. I am elderly and handicapped and these men did everything to help me and work around my husbands schedule.
