Outstanding work on our brand new HVAC system. Our home is over 100 yrs old and in a historic neighborhood. Sila did an amazing job installing a/c on all 3 floors seamlessly. They were on time everyday and worked long hours to get it finished on time. Would highly recommend their entire team.

Tony provided exceptional service, polite and very knowledgeable. He arrived on time, and was very friendly. He gave me some pro-tips on maintaining my unit, professionally explained my issue and how to better manage my thermostat.he even did one or two little things to help my unit run more efficiently. I’d definitely use them again without a doubt. Highly recommended.My critique to the company would be tell your customers what they are about to be charged for before you perform the work. In my case he had to do some wiring work to figure out my issue. If he didn’t fix my issue would I still have been charged? We will never know because he fixed it! So I gladly paid!

We are still having trouble with the compressor short cycling. Discussed with Keith and he made all the arrangements for a complete review of the system on 4/29. He preformed a partial tone up of the system. He will be back on 4/29 with a supervisor. When our ac broke we decided it was time to replace it. I scoured the internet and found that Sila had great reviews across the board and decades of experience. I called and was given a next-day free consultation. Luis was exceptionally thorough and gave estimates that best suited our needs and budget. He knew how important it was for us to have a working ac in the summer heat and 48 hours later we had a brand new unit put in. Thomas and his partner Manuel did an incredible job from start to finish. They arrived promptly first thing in the morning and in a few hours managed to get the new ac up and running including new wiring, tubing and a return. Before leaving, they made sure everything was working smoothly and that we were happy with the work done. They were so professional and kind. They are truly an incredible team. Tony V arrived right on time for our annual A/C system inspection, followed all home health safety protocols, and got right to work. He was professional, respectful and very knowledgeable. He was happy to answer my many questions about the units, the comfort settings, and how to obtain the best results from our system. Overall, pleased with the service. The tech they sent was on time, friendly, and efficient. He diagnosed the issue quickly.Criticisms:1. Weekend answering service is not good...I got bad info. They should scrap that and just have a voicemail.2. Price for cleaning my ductless unit was quoted at over $500.00. That is a very expensive rinse. The tech showed me the dirty component...said it would be quick/easy to accomplish. 500 dollars? In this economy??!3. Tech arrived at the very front of a 5 hour service window. After he poked around the unit for ~15 minutes, diagnosed and described the ease of the job required, he then told me he did not have time to accomplish that task (cleaning), and I would have to call back and schedule it. Tough pill to swallow, but so be it.

Their estimate was 40% higher than a competitor. When they arrived I told them I thought an estimate I received by someone else was too high, so I was surprised when they went even higher by 40% ($5k versus $3.5k). I also didn't like the high pressure sales tactic. The tech was using phrases like, "what can I do to get you to move forward with this today?" I'm not at a car dealership.

Our furnace broke two days before Christmas and Sila sent a rep out within an hour to give us a quote. They had a great team out the next morning and did great work to get our heat back up and running. Tony is always super helpful and knowledgeable when he services our heating and A/C equipment. Sila as a whole is a fantastic company, they are quick to follow up and make sure that we are scheduled for maintenance. They installed our high velocity A/C within a week and you would have never known they were here working all day…no dust, no mess, pretty incredible for such a huge undertaking. We have an old steam boiler that they now maintain as well, again, quick turnaround on calls and always polite, on-time, clean. Tony was on time within the timeframe. He was not only polite, but also knowledgeable and professional. He answered my questions and gave good advice. Although my appointment was for the $59 AC tuneup, it wasn't my plan to purchase the warranty which seemed a bit costly. However, I did understand it was the best route to take for my 12 year old system. Also, Tony leveled my outdoor system which overtime had began to sink forward due to settling of the ground that I noticed also.
