Walter Brown Services replaced our roof on February 14, 2024. The whole process was seamless. Robert (Bob) came to our home to give us an estimate. He then spent at least an hour on the phone with me answering all of my questions, and explaining the differences between the different grades of shingles and warranties. Bob then stopped by our home a second time to bring samples of the colors I was interested in. In addition to the roof, Bob noticed that our chimney needed to have some masonry work and was able to give us an estimate for that as well. The chimney work was completed on 2/8/24. The masons and the roof crew were professional, hard working and skilled in their trade. When they completed the work everything was cleaned up and no debris was left behind. Their pricing was competitive and fair. During the process I also had the opportunity to communicate with the office staff. Everyone at Walter Brown Services is professional, quick to respond and seem to have the customer’s best interest as their focus. I recommend Walter Brown Services for your roofing project.

When high winds blew the roof off my garage, it was so stressful! Thankfully I found Walter Brown Services. They were professional, thorough, and reasonably priced. The estimator even provided recommendations beyond the work they were going to be doing that we could do ourselves in the future. The service staff was so helpful, responsive and supportive, and the work was quickly scheduled. When the roofing team encountered some some structural problems they were able to quickly address them for a reasonable price. My new roof is beautiful, and I couldn't be happier. I also love that they are a local company. Having a roof blow off in a storm is no fun, but Walter Brown Services definitely made the experience as good as it could have been. I recently had some exterior renovation and repair work - including structural framing repairs, new siding and trim wrap - completed on a detached garage built in the late 40's. Super happy with the workmanship and results. Fair and honest pricing, excellent communication, responsive and accommodating to scheduling issues. Just a great group of folks to work with....from the office staff to everyone in the field. I have found my go-to locally owned company for exterior renovations. From my initial contact to completion, Walter Brown Services representative Matt Cisna and his team exceeded my expectations for our roof replacement. He was friendly and knowledgeable and took time answering all of my questions. Other contractors just didn't measure up. We had a small, single section of damaged roofing on our garage where a downspout from an upper roof had been driving water under the shingles and allowed the decking to rot out. It was large enough several handyman-type services I reached out to also felt it should be done by an actual roofer, but small enough that the first half dozen roofing companies I contacted wouldn't even come out to give an estimate. WBS came out within a few days of me contacting them, had me a full quote the next day, and quoted me an amount that was ~1/2 of what another roofer estimated for a smaller scope of work using a lower quality of materials. They were able to then get us on the schedule within about two weeks and completed the job in one day as-specified, at cost, and did a great cleanup sweep after finishing to make sure there wasn't any debris or detritus left around the property from the work. In the process of selecting a roofing company to replace the roof on my home, I went through a customary selection/evaluation process by getting estimates from three (3) different companies. The estimate I received from Walter Brown Services was very competitive. The presentation and professionalism shown during the estimate was above and beyond anything the other companies offered. The work was completed fast, on schedule and with no issues. I did have a couple of requests once the work was completed, which was addressed immediately by a Walter Brown Services representative. Overall, Walter Brown Services did excellent work from estimate presentation through completion of roof work.

I spent 15 years as a residential roofer, and will still venture onto the roof to clean my gutters and trim branches, but my days of laying shingles are behind me. I contacted Walter Brown Services at the recommendation of my neighbor, who works for a major construction firm. He recommended Walter Brown Services on the basis of the work they'd done removing and replacing his roof. I contracted with Walter Brown Services to remove and replace my roof, a pair of skylights, and all the rain gutters. I also had them wrap the corners and rakes with aluminum. I was extremely impressed with the job they did overall. They did a great job removing and installing the roof, and left the exterior of the house cleaner than when they had arrived. I strongly recommend them.

They are honest and fair. Most importantly, they take pride in their work. I had a several other roofing companies come out to fix my roof leaks but none could identify and resolve the issue. Not only does Walter Brown do quality work, they also don't play games with pricing or use high pressure sales strategies. I had other roofing companies come in, start with a super high price, then gradually drop as you refuse, and try to pressure you to sign that day, saying "the price is only good for today". Walter Brown came in, went over the materials and products, and gave me an honest, fair price right off the bat. No games, didn't take up two hours of my time, and still beat competitors pricing. I would strongly recommend them for any roofing or gutter work.

Called WBS for an inspection and estimate for siding replacement. They arrived within 2 business days; courteous and professional. At my request, they also inspected our 20+ year old roof and the aging soffits & facia. I received written estimates three days later itemizing siding, soffit & minor roof repair (they estimated my roof would be fine for several years to come, but recommended replacing the plumbing stack rubber boots). All estimates were very reasonable and agreed to. The completed project looks great! The tradesmen were professional and their attention to detail was spot-on. I will definitely call on WBS again in a few more years to have the roof replaced!

I cannot thank enough the owner, front office personnel, and employees of this most professional business I have ever dealt with. Most other businesses have put me on hold, worked on their time, charged a service fee just for coming out, neglected to follow up with how satisfying their product and their installation/fix worked for us. As I was purchasing my home, Walter Brown's inspector did not hold back, explained in details as long as it took all my options for what would work within my parameters. From there, they sent out a crew that worked nearly around the clock to ensure all was taken care of without delay. Within a few weeks, they came out to reinspect and ensure everything is holding up and working the way it is suppose to. Whenever I call, day/night Ms. Sarah Edwards answers without hesitation with an uplifting and positive attitude that no matter the situation, she will prioritize it urgent to take care of. They have sent out a team on their dime, to help seal parts of the roof and chimney that were not necessarily under their original contract to handle and even fixed things from the inside to give my family the most assuring home preventive measures were taken and would last for as long as we own the home. A couple of days ago, after a few weeks of strong gusts of wind, the owner himself, Matt, came out to fully inspect, find the plausible cause, and stayed to fix the damage caused by mother nature's force impaling a branch thru a softer part of the roof. Neither Matt nor Ms. Edwards hesitated for one second in the fact that the rest of their teams were tied up, and came out immediately per what my employment schedule allowed for. As stated previously, I highly recommend not to overlook this company when it comes to work that they verbally state they will handle, and on time; they back up the talk with the most professional personnel and satisfying results.
