They took great care in removing the 100+ year old windows, especially with the window with a special inscription to us from the previous owners. We will use them again.

DO NOT SETUP AN APPOINTMENT UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO SIT THROUGH A PRESENTATION.On two different occasions we schedule Capital Remodeling to come give a quote. The first time, as the rep started the presentation we made it clear that we did not need the presentation part, but simply to see the sample products and get a quote. She became pretty upset, but was willing to give the quote if we let her supervisor know she gave the presentation, which she did initiate.The second time they reached out to us. I made it clear to the scheduler on the phone that we only wanted to see the sample products, discuss the process and get the quote. When the rep showed up, he pulled out the computer and began giving the presentation. I let him know that I didn’t need the background on Capital Remodeling, just the process, see and discuss window options and get a quote. He said he had to give the presentation. I said again that we didn’t need the Capital remodeling portion. He packed up his bag and left.On his way out the door I mentioned to him what I told the scheduler on the phone. He said he would call his manager. When he got off the phone with the manager, he said the manager told him to leave if he couldn’t give the presentation.Not sure why the presentation is so important if I’ve already familiarized myself with the company. Unless they use a timeshare presentation type approach and build relationship and pressure at the end.DO NOT SETUP AN APPOINTMENT UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO SIT THROUGH A PRESENTATION

Just got 11 new windows installed in our home by Capital Remodeling. Couldn’t be more pleased! This was the easiest and most stress free home project we’ve tackled. Our in-home estimate salesman, John, was so nice and professional. All of the installation scheduling receptionists who I spoke with were well spoken and professional. We had our installation scheduled for a later than normal date due to personal schedules, but they called when they had a cancellation to see if we wanted to move it up. The installers were so quick! They arrived on time and within the first 2hrs all of the old windows had been removed and the new windows installed. They took their time with the finishing touches (indoor/outdoor sealing). The installers used protective shoe covers whenever they worked inside our home and cleaned up after every room they were in before they moved on to the next room. Our new windows look great and were a much needed upgrade to our 1960s home. I couldn’t be more pleased with the job everyone has done, from start to finish. Highly recommend this company for any home projects in the MDV area!

He put no pressure on us to make the sale--which is what will make us choose Capital Remodeling when the time comes.

I met them at the Home Expo. I've saw ads for them all over FB and the people at the expo were extremely nice so I made an appointment. They said someone would call to confirm the day before which was fine. She called and I said the time still worked. She then asked me if there are any other decision makers. I told her no. Then she asked if MY HUSBAND would be there. Now, I'm kind of annoyed because I don't have a husband and if I did he clearly wouldn't be a decision maker because I said there's no other decision makers. Then she goes on a rant about how she looked up ownership information on the house and she's demanding an explanation. I felt very uncomfortable considering I'm looking to spend thousands of dollars but I gave further explanation and she set the appointment. The next day comes and a little over an hour before the appointment they call and say the person can't make the appointment. I'm annoyed but I agree to reschedule. Then, she comes back to the ownership topic again. I told them if this was going to be an issue then just cancel. They demand to see the deed an all. I'm not going through all of that for a free quote. My HVAC company took $5k from me and didn't require to see the actual deed. Neither did the electrical company. Or any other company. Nobody in their right mind is spending $30k on a kitchen in a house they don't own unless they're crazy. The questioning by this company just to get an estimate is insane. Anyways, I'll probably go with the other company I met at the home expo. From the reviews it looks like I saved myself from a 2 hour presentation. Be prepared to be questioned.

Do not set up a window estimate with this company unless you want 2.5 hours of your time wasted and a salesman that will not leave your home! We saw an ad in the paper that said 7 windows for $693. In no way is that true! The salesman came out, he was very nice and knowledgeable. However, we expected him to look at the windows and give us a price estimate in about 15 minutes like Lowe's did. Simple and straight to the point: price. We wanted the lowest price, not the top of the line window and seeing their ad, we thought this company had low prices. The salesman then proceeded into a presentation about the company that was way too in depth like the companies history and even reading us reviews. I was making dinner, figured he'd get the hint to hurry up. An hour in we asked him to get to the pricing and lets end this. He did not get to the pricing until 1.5 hours later. They try to trap you and give you a SUPER high price and then give you an initial visit discount of thousands off if you commit on the spot. The DISCOUNTED estimate was 2x what Lowe's quoted us, the original price was 3x. If you can do the job for the initial visit price, there is no reason you cant let that offer stand for a week. They make you commit to an expensive project on the spot and that's super shady and not who we want to do business with. This salesman was scheduled for 5pm and we thought he would be gone by 5:30 so we could enjoy our dinner and the rest of our night. He left a little before 8pm. DO NOT HAVE YOUR TIME WASTED BY THIS COMPANY. This was an extremely uncomfortable experience where I felt like I wanted to kick someone out of my home who was pushing us to spend $12k+ on the spot. They say their advertising is word of mouth, yet they have a newspaper ad that lies about their prices and they do not honor them. And as others have mentioned, they ask that both spouses be home. They tried to reschedule our appt to earlier yet they want both spouses to be home. They also just assume you're married and can't make decisions on your own. They do this so they can pressure both homeowners on the spot with their initial visit pricing so we can make a financial decision when the salesman is there (so I can't make the excuse that I need to run it by my husband). We didn't want to make a decision today, we wanted a simple quote! This is so shady, let couples discuss their finances in peace and don't pressure them. Don't schedule a window estimate from this company! RUN from Capital Remodeling.

The guys that came and installed my windows did a fantastic job! They kept things neat and in order and made sure to watch for bugs and killed any if they came in the house (yes, an odd request, but they were awesome and did it when they didn't have to). Vendor would not honor prices on their own flyer they sent out, see attached, 15 windows for $1,125. Appears to be the classic bait and switch. Unprofessional staff and difficult to work with. Do your own research and read the other recent reviews about customer service, very accurate. Took our business elsewhere. Shopping around paid off.

I was going to have some windows done in a house I just bought. I was given an estimate of $5600 for 5 windows. I then was told by my doctor that a reoccurrence of cancer has come back and I need radiation and chemotherapy. The manager has been harassing me for weeks and told me I had to proceed with the project. I don’t know if I am going to survive the next year but he is relentless. I have worked in sales for over 20 years. Sometimes things happen that we cannot predict and are very hard to accept. I don’t suggest doing business with this organization.

I saw their summer ad on facebook and decided to call and get an estimate etc. First the lady on the phone said they don't replace less than 4 windows, I was only intending to replace 3, I said ok and added a 4th. She said the agent would call the day before to confirm the consultation appointment. This is where it went down hill. The day before the agent called to confirm the appointment, then asks if my husband will be home? I was like why the house is solely on my name and he trusts my judgment. She says they need both parties there. My husband and I both travel for our jobs so pinning a schedule with the both of us is difficult. I explained this to her and she kept insisting. I cancelled the appointment. Will take my business elsewhere.

Everything from start to finish was amazing! I was sold on the presentation of the windows and the quality which made me pick the company. Installation day was good the men cleaned up behind themselves they was polite and organize. I love my windows they has really helped with keeping the heat out this summer. I would definitely not recommend using this business. Especially that sales person Adam Bergeron, he is very deceptive and does not allow you to design the kitchen the way you want it. I had to call Capital and email several times to fix the horrible way he designed the kitchen.I will say however that the crew that came worked really hard on the kitchen and did a good job. but the many times of emailing back and forth and calling made me think this company is just not worth all this effort.

The windows were measured to precise size for the frame and I got the windows I chose. It only took one day to install the windows. The workers cleaned up afterwards. This has been by far the best company that i have used since being a homeowner. It started with the first rep I spoke to. He was so knowledgeable and informative. The process from start to installation of my new windows was great. The customer service is excellent and this product is the best. All of my neighbors have complimented my new windows! I have already seen a big drop in my energy bills. I highly recommend this company for your new windows!

We had all new windows put in this past Dec by Capitol and I would recommend this company to everyone. The guys that came were great,knew what they were doing and when finished had everything cleaned up. Our windows I love them they look so nice and we have no more drafts coming through and they are so easy to clean. Also I had called the company and the woman I talked with was so nice and pleasant. She listened to what I wanted which was a full screen for my sliding glass window and I had it in a few days. New windows you are looking for go with Capitol Remolding

Replaced windows in my home. The contractor was on time and installed professionally. The windows were top grade and I am very happy with the quality. They did a good job in explaining the window operation and did a good job in cleaning up. My only complaint was the screens didn't come with the windows and no one told what happened. I had to follow up on my own to make sure they were ordered and installed.Performed a roof job later. The contractor was on time and did a great job. They were diligent with clean up and explaining the status of the the existing roof.

Our windows are outstanding and we are very happy. Everything went very well from the sale to the install. Our install was in January 2020. The installers were great. There were 3 and they worked hard and non stop. Our windows were old and original to the house (wood, single pane). Our basement windows were metal and a bit of a challenge to remove, but they handled it with as much care as possible. If I had to complain about anything it would be the window flip up stop pieces.....not sure what they are called, but my husband opened the window with one flipped up and it went flying somewhere never to be seen again.......how do I get a new one? I would use Capital Remodeling again.08/31/20 Update - Thanks again to Capital Remodeling for following up on my review and sending the window stop clip replacement. Erin at Cap Remodeling offered a service visit to replace the piece that went flying. A service person was not needed, but it was helpful to offer the services. You guys are awesome! Thanks!

We had our kitchen remolded about a year ago by Capitol remodeling and we are very satisfied with how they remolded our kitchen for us. During our kitchen remodeling project they walked us through it and explained to us on what days they will complete each step of the work. The person who remolded our kitchen was highly trained and was very professional in his work. My wife and I were looking for a quality window with a strong warranty at a good price. Capital was at the top of our list because we used them a few years ago to replace our sliding glass door.For this project, we had 24 windows replaced. Communication, product, and installation were all top notch. We've noticed a significant reduction in noise and our heat pump is running far less frequently.I highly recommend.

Capital Remodeling did an excellent job. Our kitchen is beautiful! All contractors were professional and respectful of our home. All the work was completed on time. A supervisors checked in every two days to make sure things were on schedule . The kitchen looks amazing and we would choose Capital Remodeling in the future.
