From my first contact with Clarksville Construction to the completion of the work, there was nothing less than excellence from anyone associated with this company. Every one I spoke with was always polite, helpful and professional. I loved that our project manager Mischka kept in touch to let us know what was going on at all times. Marco and the guys that did the work were fantastic! They arrived on time and were prepared to work. The work was completed much quicker than I thought it would take, and the results exceeded even my expectations. I love the work they did to our front entrance and I highly recommend Clarksville Construction. (I seldom give such a glowing recommendation but I was just so impressed with this company.)

Clarksville is the best. They did a beautiful job on the TV room and kitchen and will be doing the rest of my home. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Madelin is outstanding at coordinating the work. Julian and Fidel and their workers are also excellent. I especially appreciate their suggestions on how to group my work to save money. I look forward to continuing my association with Clarksville as a very pleased customer.

CCS has done our kitchen back splash and a wall to create a room space as two separate projects. They went above and beyond, even provided designing advice for our room’s structure and we are very happy with how these turned out to be. On time, professional and flawless perfection to our satisfaction. Highly recommend CCS for any homeowners project. We worked with Lou and Randall - more than likely to call them for future projects.

Clarksville Construction absolutely rocks, hands down. They fixed the leak in my multi-level condo unit's 3rd floor balcony and even corrected its slope so that rain water could drain properly. The leak had caused damage to my 2nd floor ceiling drywall, but Clarksville is coming to fix that as well. They're permanently hired. Did I say they absolutely rock??

This is my fourth bathroom remodel and Clarksville Construction is clearly a step above the previous contractors. My salesperson Ross background in construction and Program Management made him uniquely qualified to understand the needs of a complex project with high-end materials and a meticulous homeowner. Additionally, Ross routinely visited the job site to ensure expectations were met. I would highly recommend Ross by name to my family and peers. My Program Manager Fidel and his assistant Madeline were exceptional. They ensured my high expectations were met. I will certainly use Clarksville Construction for my next project.

The entire process of using Clarksville was efficient and well done. From estimate to completion the operation was seamless.Starting with Dan, the project consultant through Gino the project supervisor and Nate the master craftsman who performed the work, everyone was personable, timely and professional. Special note goes to Nate who is as skilled as they come.Additional recognition goes to Madelin and the office staff who conducted the administrative end of things with equal efficiency. Thanks again for a job well done.

We hired Clarksville to renovate two bathrooms in our 100-year-old house last year.Proposal:Clarksville’s salesperson happened to be the founder and owner (Adam). He is very knowledgeable and followed up with us regularly while we waited on quotes from other companies. Their proposal was by far the most thorough. While they have a reputation for being expensive, due to their size and overhead, their price was surprisingly close to estimates from Blackstone Kitchen & Bath, BST Design & Build, and Valor Home. In the end, we selected them because none of the other contractors provided as much detail in their proposal.Process:Clarksville has a streamlined process and an exemplary management structure. We had a program manager, Mike Z., who directed and communicated with the team, sub-contractors, sorted out design issues, coordinated with County inspectors, made sure we had all the suitable materials before work commenced. His assistant, Kandace, worked with vendors to help us get the best deals and procured all the tiles, vanities, countertops, glass doors, shower trims, steam generator (we had a steam sauna installed in one bathroom), and accessories. Kandace made sure all the materials got delivered on time. She was the person who managed and updated our project schedule in buildertrend, which allowed us to manage our project from abroad. She was extremely helpful in getting the best price for the materials. Clarksville brings enough volume in business that they can negotiate with preferred vendors to match what was estimated in the proposal, so you’re never paying retail prices.Clarksville used buildertrend for project management. We can see all the parts and materials ordered, specifications, quantity, photos, budgeted and actual costs plus labor, and a project calendar that shows all the tasks performed each day. I can always count on her to respond to my questions and concerns and relay them to Mike and the rest of the team and sub-contractors as needed. Both Mike and Kandace were wonderful to work with, and I appreciated their expertise and always asked for their opinion when I needed o make a decision. While we knew what we wanted and pretty much stayed the course in terms of design for the two bathrooms, they helped make sure we understood each decision point’s potential pros and cons, including cost, quality, installation, and possible maintenance issues. We were also lucky to be assigned to a project team led by Marco, the nicest guy we had come across in the 20 years we’ve dealt with home contractors. He and his crew were respectful, down-to-earth, and worked hard - bracing the cold while cutting and sanding tiles and wood out in the middle of winter. Some of his guys worked through holidays, including Thanksgiving. Each team member has expertise in demolition, carpentry, tile installation, or painting, making them very efficient.Sub-contractors:Clarksville only uses master electricians and master plumbers. We had plumbers from John Bounds Plumbing work on our project. The project included one steam sauna and one regular shower. These guys were very meticulous and precise and took pride in their craftsmanship. The pipework behind the wall is simply beautiful. One of them spent hours in the crawlspace putting a drain line to the steam generator that now sits in our hallway closet. They showed up on time, every time, and always did a walk-through with our project manager before doing their work. Our master electrician was from Maryland Electric. They were very professional, friendly, and helpful, even offering to put in a few dimmer switches for us, which worked out great for our all-white bathrooms.Throughout our renovation, everyone from Clarksville and their sub-contractors was professional helpful, doing more than they needed to help realize our dream bathrooms. We highly recommend them to anyone who wishes to have a worry-free experience while renovating their bathroom.Services: Tile work installation, Install flooring, Fan installation, Paint indoors, Painting, Waterproofing, Remodeling, Drywall installation, Plumbing fixture installation

Clarksville Construction did a fantastic job on a new deck for our townhouse, including removal of the old deck and completion of a new, larger deck. They were very supportive during the initial consultation, helping me understand the impact of various ideas I had for the new deck. During construction, the quality and attention to detail by the crew exceeded my expectations. I especially appreciated their communication. From first contact, everyone I dealt with took the time to answer questions and concerns. They were proactive in letting me know progress and plans. And they promptly returned phone calls. I recommend you consider them for any similar work you may have.Services: General construction, Home renovations, Deck construction, General building construction

Clarksville Construction just finished renovating my master bathroom, living room and basement due to water damage caused by a burst water line. Randall and Mischka are very professional and were dedicated in helping us with the myriad details associated with the renovation. Bob is a master craftsman and it showed in his quality of work. His meticulous attention to detail, especially his drywall repairs and tiling, were beyond our expectations.

I contacted CCS in early October of 2023, about (1) repairs to our master bathroom and drywall/paint due to an insurance-covered water leak issue, and (2) installation of a new exhaust fan in a secondary bathroom to prepare it for use while the work in (1) was being done. They did not meet my standard for timeliness, communication, or service.Oct 10: The first CCS employee comes out to survey the damage, discuss the work to be done, take measurements, and give me the sales pitch. Over the next two weeks, I have three other visits which all seem to involve the same actions - look over the damage and discuss work to be done. To each employee who came out, I expressed we really wanted (2) done immediately to prevent damage to the secondary bathroom due to humidity buildup. I was told it "wouldn't be a problem to get someone out here".Oct 18: I receive and accept a proposal for the work in (2) to be done.Oct 24: I receive proposals for work (1) to be done; insurance-covered and non-covered. Neither proposal is correct. I reach out for corrected proposals within 2 business days.Oct 31: Work begins and finishes on work in (2). If I had known it would take this much time, I would have selected a different contractor.Nov 1: I receive corrected proposal for insurance-covered work. No corrected proposal for non-covered work is given.Nov 20: I let CCS know that insurance has approved the estimate and I am ready for them to begin work. No response.Nov 30: I email and call CCS about not receiving a response and let them know I am ready to begin work.Dec 4: I finally get a response from CCS. We spend two days going back and forth over email about which types of selections (tile, paint, grout, etc.) and items need to be added to the web app they use for that purpose.Dec 6: All selections made. No communication or confirmation from CCS that we have covered everything.Dec 19: I again call and/or email multiple people at CCS to ask them what the situation is. I let them know I was no longer interested in the additional, non-insurance work and that my only goal was to have the work done as quickly as possible. At no point did anyone from CCS tell me when I could expect responses from them, when the business would be closed, or when any of the individuals I had been working with would be on vacation.Jan 3: I finally get communication from CCS confirming that we could move forward with scheduling work.Jan 5: I get an email from CCS telling that the tile selections I had made back on Dec 6 "had issues" and that I needed to go to the Tile Shop in Columbia in person to discuss it with their staff.Jan 8: New types of selections are added to the web app that were missed in the original setup back in Dec. I email CCS and let them know have completed all they asked for. I am told additional selections have issues and we go back and forth over email until Jan 11.Jan 14: I receive an email letting me know that the start date will be Jan 17 and work will continue until Jan 19, pause for the weekend, and finish up Jan 22.Jan 17: Work begins. CCS's project manager stops by in the morning for about 10 minutes and again in the afternoon for about 5 minutes. This is the last day I see the PM or any employee of CCS at the site.Jan 18: I am alerted that work may be stopped on Jan 19 due to snow.Jan 19: I receive an email that work for the day will be stopped due to snow. Advised that I will be rescheduled when possible. I later receive a call that my work will be pushed back 1 week.Jan 22: I receive a call that work will continue on Jan 24 for paint but that the bulk of the work will be pushed back a week.Jan 24: I receive a call that the work on the shower can resume on Jan 26 and will continue over the weekend.Feb 2: Final finishing touches on paint, grout, calk etc. are scheduled. The team that comes out doesn't reinstall the shower fixtures.Feb 6: Work is still not complete, and when I let CCS know this they are surprised.Feb 7: Today. Nobody knows when work will be complete.

Clarksville Construction did such a good job remodeling my bathroom last year that I hired them to remodel my kitchen and laundry room. Once again I am extremely pleased with their work. Everyone from CCS was friendly and professional; every worker who came into my home was respectful and polite. Despite some delays beyond their control, Clarksville was able to adjust the schedule to get the work done. This is the second job for which I have used them, and I plan to use them again for some more work on my house.Services: Tile work installation, Install flooring, Home renovations, Paint indoors, Painting, General building construction, Interior finishing, Remodeling, Interior structural repairs, Drywall installation, Plumbing fixture installation, Drywall repair, Flooring

The work was done and they came out and fixed a couple things as it was still under warranty. It was a process but I’m ultimately happy with the result. The 4 stars instead of 5 comes from communication issues and schedule slippage.

On a recent significant exterior house project, Clarksville Construction Services (CCS) used very competent contractors and coordinated effectively the project phases. The CCS point of contact was always very courteous, and the supervising project manager was very knowledgeable about the technical aspects of the whole project. The end of project walk-through was a helpful review of the work done. Subsequently, I asked CCS to return for a minor correction to two gutter spots, and CCS resolved it expeditiously.

I have had Clarksville Construction do several jobs for me over the last 3 years. I keep having them do my work as I am always pleased with how they operate. This last time I had them upgrade my kitchen. They painted the cabinets, installed a new floor and a new counter top. From the beginning they were excellent to deal with. They always arrived on time, worked all day and completed the job ahead of schedule. The workmen were easy to deal with and worked very hard. They always left the house clean and neat. Everyone I dealt with were expert in what they did. They offerred suggestions and implemented my requests without any problems. It was a pleasure dealing with the organization and I will have do work for me again if warranted. I highly recommend them. It is rare to find anyone who is as easy and good to deal with.Services: Tile work replacement, Paint indoors, Flooring

We bought a Handyman Package with 48 service hours from Julian at Clarksville Construction. They repaired drywall, painted, fixed a leak, replaced a window, did tile work, and caulking. Everything looked perfect when they were finished. The entire company was responsive and helpful throughout the entire project. I couldn't have asked for a better company to work with and highly recommend them to anyone looking for any type of handyman work or bigger projects.Services: Install flooring, Home renovations, Tile work replacement, Interior structural repairs

We planned two house projects and met with, over the course of a couple weeks, a project consultant and a project manager who offered professional suggestions and helped fine tune the details. The work crew came on time every day, and their work was impeccable, with great attention to detail throughout the project. At one point, they even went above and beyond by moving a fair amount of furniture back and forth within a room, a couple of times, in order to complete a section- something we didn't expect. They protected the environs from particulate dust with appropriate barriers, and we found it fairly easy to live as normally as possible around the developing project. The project manager's assistant was extremely responsive when we had questions and worked hard to expedite a materials order. Using the Buildertrend portal is helpful and efficient with regard to the planning and delivery of services, payment, and messaging. We highly recommend Clarksville Construction for small or large remodeling or building projects.Services: Home renovations, Bathroom remodeling, Paint indoors, Painting, Interior finishing, Drywall installation, Plumbing fixture installation, Flooring

We hired Clarksville Construction to bring our 1950s dining room, foyer, and stairwell into the 21st century. They removed knotty pine paneling and fluorescent lights, and installed new insulation, sheet rock, and LED lights as well as smoothing out walls and painting. We were impressed with the company from the beginning. The first time we met, Lou gave us a ball park cost and a rough estimate of how long the project would take. A week later we received a detailed, reasonable quote. A few days after we accepted their proposal, Randall, the project manager, stopped by for a brief walk through and they began working two days later. And the work crew was fantastic! They arrived on time every day, they were very polite and responsive, and they did a terrific job. Absolutely beautiful painting and sheet rock work. And they did a great job of keeping the "mess" in the construction area, which I thought might be a challenge since it was in the middle of the house so multiple areas had to be sealed off with plastic. To make things even better, the original estimate was that the work would take six days, but the crew finished in five. Randall came back for a final walk through on the sixth day to ensure that we were completely satisfied with our renovation. We are very happy that we chose to work with Clarksville Construction.Services: Paint indoors, Painting, Interior finishing, Remodeling, Drywall installation

I had clarksville construction install a 20x20 addition on the back of my house. The entire experience was amazing from beginning to end. They are very organized, gave us a schedule of when the work would be happening, and provided photos of the work that was completed each day. We were living in our second home while the addition was being built and it was awesome to always know what was happening and who would be doing work in the house each day. Our project manager was Johnny and his assistant was Madelin. They were a pleasure to work with and I am excited to work with them again for future projects in our home. This company is very professional, extremely responsive, and did 12/10 work. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the area.

We used Clarksville Construction for a small job through their handyman department. Lou was incredibly friendly and helpful during the estimate, walking me through the company and thoroughly taking a look at our issue. I really appreciated his good humor and honesty! I then worked with Randall, who was equally friendly and responsive. Randall's team was friendly, helpful, and extremely hardworking while they were completing our job. Both Randall and Lou followed up after the job was completed, and I can tell that Clarksville Construction really cares about the quality of their work and the customer experience. We are new homeowners and this is our first time using a contractor, and we had a great experience and will definitely be using them again for future home projects!

Earlier this year, I was searching for a company that could provide both home improvement and handyman services. I came across Clarksville Construction Services Inc. as one that had been voted Best of Howard County, Best of Baltimore SunPapers, and Best of Anne Arundel in the Capital Gazette. Additionally, they have an A+ rating as a BBB-accredited business. From the moment I contacted Clarksville Construction Services Inc., I have been so impressed by the professionalism and service provided by each of the staff members and the quality of work is excellent!I am so pleased and I highly recommend this company!

Having a kitchen remodel done while you're living in your home can be a stressful experience, but the team of Mike, project manager, Kandace, coordinator of every little (and big) thing, and Christian, crew leader, made all the difference for us. They knew our deadline was important, and they met it; they kept our home as clean as possible while they worked; they problem-solved any issues that came up, and we felt that our project mattered to them. We have a beautiful new kitchen that everyone comments on, thanks to the Clarksville team!Service: Remodeling

We had Clarksville do 2 projects for us. They finished our basement and installed an attached sunroom. Both projects looked amazing in the end. The work looked GREAT!! Clarksville went above and beyond and provided amazing service. The communication was 110%. They stand behind their work for years after the project is completed. I've used Clarksville construction for a number of projects since 2019 including replacing my roof, deck ceiling and deck boards, rotten exterior wood, handyman services, and a guest bathroom renovation. With each larger project I will get multiple bids, but have always hired Clarksville Construction. I find owner Adam August is straightforward and fair in his pricing and I, a single, female homeowner, have never felt talked down to or been brushed off with any question or concerns even after the project is complete. Fidel has been my project manager is very easy to work and accessible. The office staff has been equally as responsive and friendly. My most recent project was a full bathroom renovation that included changing out a tub for a walk in shower ahead of my mother having surgery. Adam, Fidel , and the team were able to work within the short turnaround time and quickly transformed the small bathroom into a beautiful and functional space for my mother.Services: Tile work installation, Install flooring, Bathroom remodeling, Fan installation, Deck construction, Paint indoors, Exterior painting, Roof installation

We wanted to remodel our kitchen back in July of 2022. We got quotes from several contractors and spoke to them in person. We fell in love with Ross from the get go. He not only answered all our question patiently but also took time to visit the various vendors for selection of items. Normally, contractors would like to get an agreement in place before introducing their vendors to the customers. This saved lot of our time in starting our project and also gave so much confidence in Ross for being so ethical and thorough in his approach. Then came the execution duo, John and Vanessa. Our first impression of both of them was the BEST. Based on our past experience, I was little bit on the defensive side. But both of them made us feel so comfortable with the project management approach, starting from setting up the portal and updating us on a timely manner on every little thing that took place during the construction. Clarksville Construction's way of managing, monitoring and updating the customers was excellent. We would know exactly when various trades are coming and what they would be accomplishing. Vanessa took very special care of making sure that all the parties are in sync during the whole time. The sub-contractors who represented CCS were par excellence. They not only did a quality job but went beyond their scope to make us feel good. They never complained when few modifications have to be made from our side in the mid way...The project was completed on time and within the quoted price. The most impressive part is the follow-up support they continue to give in fixing even a small things. Great job.... I would love to work with CCS for any major remodeling projects. Thanks Ross, Vanessa, John and the entire team of CCS for making our journey a memorable one. We are enjoying our new kitchen and our family and friends are very impressed with the selections and workmanship. Big Thanks to Vanessa for staying on top of everything......
