We recently hired Jim Adams for a repair to our ceiling that had to be fixed due to water damage. We could not have asked for more from Jim. He was honest (we agree with what the other reviews said - he does not tell you things need to be repaired when they don't), reasonably priced, responsive, prompt and did great work - we can't even tell anything happened.We will definitely be using Jim in the future for everything he can help us with around the house.

Jim does outstanding work! He replaced a window pane for me and was also able to retrofit a wooden door on to an already existing awkward metal door frame for a fair price. He is a skilled craftsmen and a friendly guy. Will definitely hire him again in the future and would recommend to anyone in the area who needs handy work done.

Jim stopped by for his first visit yesterday. He recaulked my kitchen sink and walk-in shower, plus installed a new toilet seat. He was very nice and accommodating to work with, plus he did a great job and his prices are reasonable. Will most definitely use him again for more home upgrades and maintenance.

Jim came by to install curtain rod holders to my ceiling. He did an amazing job, and didn't complain when I threw in an extra window for him to add holders to! The first time he came out, he realized he would need other tools, and rather than wasting time, he considered it a FREE CONSULTATION, and it was very easy for me to reschedule. If you want good work done by someone who is respectful of your time and your wallet, Jim's your guy.

Jim was both professional and friendly. The jobs ranged from furniture assembly to gutter cleaning and he was up to the task! He worked very efficiently and the price was fair. I'd recommend him and plan to use him again to complete some other work before the holidays.

I would highly recommend Jim Adams, the Kensington Handyman, based upon my experience. Jim responded promptly to my initial call and provided excellent service, with attention to detail in all his work. Jim replaced a faulty drier venting system, taking extra care taping the connections and provided the drywall work necessary to finish the job in one day. He explained the process and offered alternative methods. Very easy to work with and reasonably priced.

We've had Jim Adams do several jobs around our house and they've all been top notch. He is an excellent handyman who can handle a wide variety of jobs. From installing grab bars for our elderly relative, installing a bidet attachment to cleaning a dryer vent that hadn't been cleaned in twenty years, Mr. Adams handled them quickly with superior skill. i moved into a home built in 1933 earlier this year. I am thrilled to have found Jim and to work with him. I've had a lot of different things that needed to be done and some of which were complicated by an older homes quirks. He's always figured out how to solve the problem in the easiest most effective way possible. He's responsive and prompt and always arrives when promised. He's good to collaborate with and easy to be around. He's in charge of knowing my home inside/out. He provides the full range of handyman services.

Just employed this handyman to repair a patio door screen, a side window screen, and a couple of leaky faucets. Each of the tasks came with a bit of a tricky challenge because of the way the house was constructed. Jim handled each of them with competence and efficiency. He was responsive to my phone messages, showed up on time, was pleasant to deal with, and was completely reliable. His fees were very reasonable.

I have a very old house that needs a lot of work. Jim came over was on time, and professional. Did a great job fixing my faucet , installing a new one in the kitchen. Charged a very fair price Will definitely call again. I have a lot of work to be done.

We removed our old screen door ourselves , but then the frame underneath looked pretty rough. I sent Jim some pictures and he quoted a reasonable price for sanding, patching, and painting. He did a great job and we’ll certainly use him again in the future.

I was so glad to find a local handyman; the 2 reviews I saw here were positive. Buyer beware. We had this handyman do 5 small jobs including replacing a tub faucet, installing a new towel rack, installing a shower curtain rod, hanging a large picture and fixing a broken kitchen drawer. The faucet was so poorly installed, it leaked everywhere and we had to get a plumber to fix. The plumber was appalled at the job done - horrified. It was sloppy and a mess. The shower curtain rod fell apart and off the wall within 2 weeks of installation, nearly hurting my child. My husband examined the area and saw it was installed in an illogical and unstable manner. The towel rack fell off the wall within 1 month. He could not fix our drawer back on its rolling mechanism. Nightmare. Waste of time and money (and not cheap either).
