We called around 7PM and someone arrived by 7:50. We knew we were going to pay the overtime rate, so we were prepared for the huge cost. The gentleman was incredibly friendly, (he even laughed at my husbands bad jokes), he wore little coverings over his shoes and also had on a mask. He was knowledgeable, clean, and efficient. I should add that he had to try several things before the kitchen sink was able to drain. We appreciated his willingness to keep going until he finally found a way to snake the drain over 35 feet.

I have been a customer of Michael & Son for years and never disappointed with their quality of service. Robert Nicolay came today to replace the fan motor on my heat pump.He is always excellent! Methodical and very focused throughout the service. Extremely professional.Listened carefully to any and all questions...answered them with complete confidence. Michael & Son is by far the best heating, plumbing, electrical and air conditioning company. They stand by their work 100%! It is truly a team from the topdown!

The technicians appeared unfriendly. Work order not fully completed. 1) Duck cleaning was not performed even though it was included in the work order. 2) A new air purifier for 20×25×4 filter was not installed even though it was in the work order. Technicians were less collaborative, less understanding, and did not show a sign of patience until I had to reach to the sales person. Problem remains unsolved. I had to convince them to put it in writing. New appointment for Monday 8/21/2023 but with no assurance.Services: Heating system installation, Install AC, HVAC duct & vent cleaning

Stuart was AWESOME!We called Michael & Sons to investigate plumbing issues in the home we moved into a couple of weeks ago (Feb. 2023). Stuart was the most professional, determined and patient technician I have ever come across - ok , I’ve only dealt with about 7 in my life but Stuart was exceptional. He diagnosed our core issue as a blockage in the mains and took the time to snake everything out, all the way back to uninstalling (and reinstalling) a toilet. Total of over 100 feet, I do believe. If Michael and Sons guys are all as good and meticulous as Stuart, you can be assured of quality, professional service.

Plumbing problems, called in morning, came in afternoon the same day. The office kept me updated with the ETA of their plumber. BTW, the annual contact with them is worth it. It turned out to be a difficult job. The plumber, Stuart Turner, was patient, professional, and with a can-do attitude. After the problem was fixed, he tested repeatedly to make sure of it. I've used Michael And Son for many times of my HVAC, electrical, and plumbing works. They are not the cheapest in town but I am happy with their services and professionalism so far.

I needed a plumbing service and they sent this lazy guy who can barely bend because he is around 300 pounds ,he just sit in a bucket and took pictures of the pipe that has a clog, he snake it one time and then told me that the pipe might be broken . I told him if he had a camera to confirm if the pipe is broken, he has no camera and spent 30 minutes to call his friend. Then they put me on appointment with the person with camera , I waited for 3 hours, then last minute they cancel my appointment. After 3 days , I had another appointment with them, the guy with the camera showed up an hour early , I told them to call me 30 minutes before they go to the house because I do not leave in that house, I arrived in the house at 1 pm and that person already left. I will never use their service again and I will never recommend it to any one...waste of money and time. Lazy technician and very unprofessional..

I called another company before I called Michael & Son. That company arrived an hour late and told me they don’t know what was wrong with my heating system after inspection. I found Michael & Son on Google, but I really don’t know what to expect because I have never used their service before. I made an appointment and was quickly able to have an technician come and take a look the next morning. My technician Mohan Maharjan identified the problem within 5 minutes, and quickly resolved the issue that the other company was not able to deal with. I’m very happy with their service and signed up for a service contract. I will continue use Michael & Son going forward. We had a sewage backup on Saturday and we were able to get them to come Saturday afternoon. The technicians were very easy to talk to and helpful. They really put us about as much at ease as we possibly could be given the circumstances. They will be back again Sunday in a few minutes and I expect continued excellence.FOLLOWUP: after the initial technician visit on Saturday, they called someone else to snake our drain until 1am. Sunday they came back to followup and clean and in the middle of that, the backup started coming back though our pipes. So they called someone else to snake the drain again, and they got as far as 9 feet from the house in the front yard until they couldn’t got anymore. They said they needed to do an exploratory dig which would cost almost $10k and had us deposit about $3k. Later on Sunday we called WSSC and they determined the blockage was their fault, and cleared it through their pipes on the street. So we no longer needed the exploratory dig so we canceled it. Both my wife and I have called to have it canceled and it was assured that it was but that charge appears to still be on my wife’s card. On Monday, the Michael and Sons technicians came to get their equipment and recommended an asbestos inspection, which happened on Tuesday and that tech said he would bill Michael and Sons. So, in the end, we should be billed for two tech visits, two snakings, one pipe picture taking job, and the asbestos inspection. PLEASE ENSURE THAT ANY CHARGES FROM THE “EXPLORATORY DIG” ARE CANCELEDService: Cleaning
