I cannot express how much I appreciate the work that DAC put in to our project. We experienced an HVAC condensation issue that proved not only problematic but time consuming. Luckily DAC came in with a wealth of knowledge and experience as well an so much patience. While I was having issues with HVAC contractors, DAC was always on time, and ready to talk while walking me through everything and making sure that I was taken care of. They took extra time to address every possible issue and always recommended improvements and listened to what we wanted. Thanks to DAC we were able to turn a unfortunate and stressful situation into something we absolutely love.Service: Home repairs

Danek and his team did an incredible job on our back porch. We didn't have any idea what we wanted, besides "screening it in". Danek asked me to send his some examples of what we might like. From there, he developed a proposal and sent us a quote. Very fair for the quality, promptness, and profesionnalism of the job. We communicated throughout the process about material options and other details, so there were no surprises when the job was completed and we received our invoice. Customers Beware!!!!! I am never one to give bad reviews but I have to warn people about this business. Where do I start..The guy that came to our house (said he was the owner) was extremely rude, demanding, and disrespectful. We were looking to have some issues with bathroom fixed. My wife and I had questions regarding pricing and trying to explain what we were looking to get done. He made everything out to be a major issue and as if he was too busy to do any of the work.After providing us with an estimate he requested 1/3 of the total payment up front before he started the work. Then when my wife asked why such a large deposit he kept asking: "You dont have the money??" . Who says things like that!!!I have used many professional/certified/quality companies in maryland and they never demanded 1/3 payment upfront. When continued to question him he became very confrontational over the phone, made disrespectful comments about my wife, and used profanity.Needless to say we won't be going with this company and advise everyone else to look elsewhere. We quickly found another licensed/insured and much more professional contractor at a Cheaper Cost!!!!We have already contacted the BBB about Dac Construction and their unprofessionalism.Too many other exceptional companies/people to give your money too, avoid this one!!!!

Danny and his team completed a full bathroom renovation, including tub-to-shower conversion, for us. They chose high-end materials, and fixed minor structural problems to ensure that everything would be installed properly and beautifully. I called their number and a person answered, no machine, no call you back, just Danny on the phone.He came out the very next day to assess our deck and came back with a quote within a day.The quoted price was fairWork started about nine days after the quote and they showed up every day. No half-finished job and mystery disappearances.He stopped work to discuss problems as they were found. It was an old deck, not to code.They did a particularly nice job on the railings.The final product is much sturdier feeling than the deck they started renovating.

I contacted DAC construction company for an estimate for my basement renovation of four rooms and a bath. I hzd obtained two earlier estimates and decided that they were too expensive. I called Dan, the owner DAC Construction and we met for a consultation. He did an assessment of my basement and met with my wife and me two days later and discussed our renovation. He showed us samples of the material he would use. We selected the material we wanted and signed it contact. Dan advised us that he would obtain the necessary permits. We spent a couple of days going over the details and signed a contract. We made a few adjustments to the contract and Dan started working on our project. Dan kept us abreast of the work and he and his very respectful crew began the job. They encourage walkthroughs and inspection of the work.At the completion of the job, Dan did a walkthrough with our confident and he reported his complete satisfaction of the completed work. He used the best materials and at the finished project more than met our expectations. The floors looked great and the walls and lighted ceiling looked magnificent. We are quite satisfied with the entire project of a job well done. Now, we get the "WOW" and GREAT BASEMENT from our family and friends when they stop by. My wife and I are completely satisfied with DAN and his CREW.. We are so satisfied, we will use Dan to install railings on our front porch and do the necessary painting. I would sincerely recommend DAN, owner of DAC CONSTRUCTION COMPANY for most renovztion. He stands behind his work. Louis and Gwen Holland.

At the end of 2016 DAC changed our townhouse roof with all new shingles. They used Timberline HD shingles. I am absolutely satisfied with the job the company did. Besides they partially updated our deck.

Danny and DAC, We have been trying to reach you by phone, email and certified letter to obtain a refund of our $20,000 for work not completed on our DC project. You refused receipt of our certified letter three times, you will not answer or return our phone calls, and you will not respond to our email. We contacted DCRA (DC’s Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs) and were informed that your Home Improvement license (#71100143) was cancelled on 8/1/18 “by the owner” because the company is “going out of business”. Yet your Maryland license (#132115) is still active. We are filing complaints with DCRA and the Maryland Home Improvement Commission against you that we are trying to resolve. Please immediately contact us.
