I called for an estimate to repair a leak in my roof. I knew my shingles were old but I could not commit to replacing the whole thing. I was told by other contractors that they would not consider a repair due to the age of the shingles. Lauren was very helpful, scheduled a time for inspection and estimate, very quick! Price was very reasonable and the next day, Steve and his assistant were on the roof! Did the repairs, cleaned up the debris and even blew the leaves off the walk (Thank you)!! Andrew and Spencer were top notch. They came promptly at the agreed upon time and did everything in their power to keep me consistently informed where we were in the process. They oversaw the process from start to finish and worked with me closely to get me scheduled quickly and ensure satisfaction with the end result. Both my neighbor and I had our shingles replaced by them and are who I highly recommend. The work crew also was on site at the designated time and got the job completed the right way the first time. They also did everything possible to make sure they left my home and yard in the way it was when they arrived even going the extra step to take magnets and sweep the yard for potentially any random nails. We had a roof leak at one of our skylights on our flat roof system and upon calling Hershey they came out for an inspection and review, resulting in Hershey Exteriors replacing that roof and both skylights for us. During the replacement they inspected the gabled roof system and showed me potential issues long term with how the existing gabled shingled roof system was installed and how it was wearing and we replaced that roof system as well. During this time period my exterior windows were leaking and they responded with 3 new windows and replaced for us. Great job all around, professional, on time and great workmanship. Due to a serious wind storm, we lost numerous shingles. After calling a number of Roofing specialists, we came upon the listing of Hershey Exteriors. Other companies had shared that due to the storm, it would be weeks before they could give an estimate because of the demand of requests. Hershey Exteriors responded immediately, had one of their associates come to estimate, and the next day had our roof repaired. The customer service they exhibited was outstanding, not to mention the fact the repair was done quickly, and professionally. No doubt they had numerous requests as well, yet they managed to place our request as important enough to come ASAP and scheduled our repairs in an expedient manner. Will I call them again should we have any storms that compromise our roof: ABSOLUTELY!

Tyler Hershey is the owner. In today’s contract and lawsuit happy business environment, it is a pleasure to work with someone who says what he means, means what he says, and honors his word with a handshake! We had a leak in the flat roof over our back porch shortly after purchasing our home. Tyler’s quote was not the lowest, and not the highest, but right in the middle, yet materials used were the same as the highest estimate. Work was performed when scheduled, and was well done and professional. I had to change dates of work and Tyler was accommodating and understanding. We were told by Tyler the entire roof didn’t have too much life left, but didn’t need immediate replacement. Almost 2 years later, leak noted in a bedroom ceiling. Again, Tyler’s quote was the middle of the range, but using the same materials as the highest quote. Again, done when promised and in a professional manner. During the reroof, gutters noted to be working properly, and gutter guard system obviously not keeping debris out. We were quoted a very reasonable price to remove existing guards and replace. This also was done as promised, and as I was called away, was done based on a handshake. The work crew was courteous and professional. The roofing crew showed up as scheduled and promptly went to work with the efficiency of army ants. Within 3 hours, the old roof was stripped, sheets of wood replaced, and the water barrier and underlayment were complete. By the end of the day the roof was complete. I am very pleased with the professionalism and courteous treatment from this company and I would highly recommend them to all. If I had one criticism it would be the slightly harsh treatment when dropping materials on the roof. Some of the thuds were house rattling and it broke loose a chandelier which I had to repair. Some things cannot be avoided with such a project and a small price to pay for the quality of the work they performed.Service: Roof installation

When a severe storm hit Ocean City, MD in early August, the siding on our home was ripped off by high winds, exposing the attic to the elements. These guys are the real deal! Professional and prompt. Called Hershey due to a roof/rodent issue. They came right out, fixed the problem and cleaned up when they were done. Walked around the house to discuss some other issues. They offered fantastic solutions and unique perspective on work we needed done in the very near future. Great Company!As a follow-up to my review above, I've moved my 5 star to a 1 star. The rodent repair they completed on my roof was not sufficient to keep the rodent from getting back into the house at the same spot. Ok...it happens. I called to request that they return to repair the damage again with a better solution. I called and sent a text. On 5/22, they were going to come out on 5/23. Followed up on 5/24, no response. Then 5/26, response "didn't get a chance maybe Thursday or Friday". On 5/28, they stated they would be out there on 5/29 at 4 or 5 pm. 5/29...no show. Said they would be there at 11-ish on 5/30. 5/30 no show. 5/31 they said they would be out that day. no show.

I had all news windows put in back in 2017. The owner was flexible and good to work with. His helper (to be father-in-law) was not so. There was an issue of no caulking in one window which leaked. The owner came by and caulked it with no more issues.
