Excellent experience from beginning to end.We called to request an estimate and Nick arrived a couple of days later. He brought samples, answered all our questions, and was very respectful of our time. He provided a demonstration of the windows and allowed me to look at the door options on his tablet. I was able to make changes to colors, glass design, etc. At the end of our appointment, we were still unsure about some things, so he offered to come back again. He even provided us with a list of sales tactics to look out for if we decided to have other estimates (which we did, and the list was very helpful). Nick was extremely responsive to emails with all the questions that we had. I was very indecisive so he came back to our house two more times so that we could review the designs of the doors again and make changes. He was very patient. There were no slimy sales tactics, and I am incredibly appreciative of that.Once we chose our options, signed the contract, and Mody came to take final measurements, it took approximately 6 weeks for the windows and doors to come in. Nick told us this ahead of time, so we expected 6-8 weeks. Mody arrived with his team of Paul and Armenis. They worked so efficiently and effectively together. I’ve never seen such a cohesive team work so hard. We were told that the entire job of 18 windows, 1 slider, and 1 front door with 2 side panels and storm door would take 3 days. Because of their efficiency they completed the entire job within 2 days.On the second day of installation the owner of the company, Emma, came out to take pictures of the job. She was incredibly professional but also personable. Two days after installation we noticed that one of the windows had a small crack in the corner. Emma personally came out the very next day to take pictures and have a new sash ordered. She even brought a gift to thank us for choosing her company. I was really blown away by that gesture.We had such a wonderful experience with Clearview and all the employees that we encountered along the way. Our windows are energy efficient and look great. Our front door is gorgeous and gave our home a whole new look. I couldn’t be happier with our purchase. I would 100% recommend this company and will call them again if we ever need any windows or doors replaced.

It has been a great experience to work with Clearview. We replaced three windows at our home. Nick listened to our needs carefully, and came up with a plan, and explained each step of the process carefully. Once contract was signed, Mode came out within a week and measured out the windows, and ordered them from Okna. Within a month the windows came. On installation day, Mode and Paul installed the windows, including new claddings, cleaned up everything and left within 3 hrs (1 hr/ window). Elaina, kept us informed throughout the process. Very professional, cannot recommend them enough.

I signed a contract in January 2020 to have 21 replacement windows installed by April 2020. I never heard from the company until June 2020 when I called to ask for an update.They installed 17 windows on August 5, 2020 and told me 2 of the windows had been damaged by the manufacturer and would have to be reordered. I spoke to the man who placed the original order and he confessed that he had forgotten to order those windows. THEY WERE NEVER ORDERED OR RECEIVED, SO THEY MADE UP AN ELABORATE LIE. When the two windows were finally installed in December 2020, I requested that the windows be recaulked because the caulk was pulling away from the window frames (after only 4 months). They said they were recaulked but I don’t know if that is true. In March 2022 I notified the owner that the caulk was cracking on my windows and requested that they repair them. He usually refuses to accept my phone calls and never returns them. He had his office clerk call and tell me that he would charge me to recaulk the windows after only a year and a half. The warranty on the caulk is 15 years. He stated Clearview only guarantees their work for one year. That says a lot to me about his confidence in his work. Nowhere in my contract do they mention that. I have been trying to get this man to do the right thing for 4 months again and he is insisting that I pay for his poor workmanship. I already paid a premium price for shoddy work. I am just asking that I get the windows properly installed. The caulk manufacturer recommends at least a 3/8 “ bead. The bead on my windows is less than that. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They have lied to me consistently for the past 2 years, they refuse to make repairs that are clearly their responsibility, they are disrespectful and take no interest in making sure a job is completed correctly. They have my money and just aren’t interested in completing the job in a manner that they could be proud of. It’s too late for me, but I hope others will learn from my huge, costly mistake.Revision: Clearview Window and Door Company is under new management. I called the new CEO and discussed the nightmare I’ve been experiencing with this company for the last three years. She was anxious to get the problem resolved. On November 1, 2023 she sent three men to remove the defective caulk around the windows in the front of the house and to re-caulk all the windows on the outside. To my dismay she sent the original installer. When I objected she said he was her best subcontractor and she assured me he would apply the caulk correctly this time and she would address any problems that occurred. My home is three stories tall and I cannot inspect all the windows but the ones I can examine appear to have the correct bead of caulk on them now. I hope it will last longer this time. The caulk is warranted to last 15 years. I trust the new owner and thank her for doing the right thing. I would give her five stars for her handling of this matter.Service: General window replacement

Top-notch windows, fair price, first-rate installation (didn't even need touch-up paint) and a knowledgeable estimator. Crew even noticed two tiny defects and ordered replacements before they left. Highly recommend.. Having now done the downstairs we plan on replacing the windows on the second floor.

The installation went well. The installers were late, but the office called ahead to inform me. I had the screen put in the frame which left the glass to be stored. I was wondering what they did with the glass and found it propped against the house. There was no box or any way to protect it. I called the office to ask for a box and/or suggestions on how to safely store the glass and was told that I would be contacted. No one has contacted me.

Not only do we know windows and doors, but we know a lot about all home improvement and we generously take the time to help anyone who calls. CVs installs are professional, organized, and on time; often deliverying before contract date. And as a second gen company, with 4,000+ customers, I'm happy to say I'm one of them. Would highly recommend! 😁

I decided to go with Clearview Window and Door because they supported the radio station I listened to (Shine 95.1). However, because of my experience with this company I no longer listen to the station. I don't want to hear Sam or the station boast about the company. I had 2 doors and 27 windows installed in 2015. One door had defects in the glass and when the replacement was brought out it too had defects in the glass. We were asked to basically live with it. This door also needs to be propped open since it slowly swings to about halfway closed if not. The other door we had installed was a french door and although pretty, it's not very sound proof nor does it seem energy efficient. Also, spiders get in with ease yet I don't see any holes. As for the windows, I've had two crack on the inside pane of the double pane window and one that fogs up. One crack, maybe, but two must be poor craftsmanship. Now I realize Clearview Window and Door is just the installer and they don't make the windows or doors. However they boast about how great they are. They are not. Dealing with the first cracked window was okay. They reordered the window and when it arrived they came out and replaced it. When I called about the second window, they wanted to come out to the house and take measurements, etc. They also wanted to charge me over $200 as a service fee. After refusing they said I could send them a picture of the crack and the window label and let them know which sash it was (upper or lower). They would order it and when it arrived I could come pick it up and install it myself. Well this was January. It is now May. Every time I call I get the same song and dance. They don't know when it will come in, shipments come in on Wednesday, they are backed up. Last time I asked to speak to a manager and the woman I spoke with said someone will call me on Wednesday. That was 2 weeks ago. Bottom line is I would NOT recommend this company. Save yourself the headache and go through someone who actually manufactures the windows and doors you want installed.UPDATE: I received a phone call from Emily at Clearview Window and Door. My sashes are due in on the 22nd and they would like to come out and install them on the 23rd. They plan on talking with Okna to address the window issues I had/have. They also plan on talking with Homeguard to address the door issues I had/have.Clearview Window and Door is extremely apologetic for the experience I've had and for the way I currently feel and is trying to rectify that. However until that is done, I will leave my rating as is. I do promise to update accordingly though.UPDATE 2: Today (4 June) Clearview Window and Door came out and replaced the two window sashes and fixed both issues I had with the doors. A search of Clearview Window and Door will result in plenty of positive reviews and they worked hard to rectify all my issues so that I too would have a positive review. A search of Okna windows will also result in plenty of positive reviews. They were a little slow in providing Clearview Window and Door with the replacement windows.Clearview Window and Door is definitely a company to consider if you are looking to replace your windows. They will work hard to make sure you have a positive experience. I can't explain why we had the issues we did. However, Clearview Window and Door fixed them all.

We worked with Shawn on a new slider for our kitchen. He was knowledgeable, trustworthy and helpful. The installers were absolute pros and we couldn't be happier with our beautiful new door. Now, we are having them replace our basement door and look forward to another wonderful result.Update after the basement door installation: We worked with Shawn again to find a replacement basement door that wouldn't break the bank, and yet look great. The installer, Danny, was on-time, enthusiastic, and professional. The basement is so much brighter, the door looks great and opens and shuts smoothly.You can't go wrong with ClearView. We had them do our windows almost a decade ago and they still look brand new. This company is great for old houses for which you want to maintain the historic charm.

Had I written this post at the time of sale and install, I would have rated this company at 5 stars. Unfortunately, I have since learned that my windows and sliding doors were installed into rotten wood (which I was not informed about) and Clearview Window and Door has been unwilling to work with me.Upon contacting Clearview about the discovered rot in my home, sending them photos, inviting them to come and see the rot (which several contractors and the insurance company all indicated had to have been there for many years) and which two of my double windows and both of my sliding doors had been installed into, I found them screening my calls and unwilling to work with me.I had to pay to have the windows and doors removed and reinstalled after my home was repaired. Had they told me at the time of install about the issues, it would have saved me not only the removal and reinstall but would have reduced the amount of ongoing rot and necessary repairs within my home. Per their own policy they are to notify the home owner of any rot found and will not install into rotten wood, which they clearly did. I simply wanted Clearview to reinstall my doors and windows once the wood had been repaired, without additional expense, and so as not to void any warranties (install, window, or otherwise). As they were unwilling to return my communications I am having to pursue legal action.The sales rep and the installers were very friendly but I will never recommend or use this company again. It is rare that I would write a 1 star review, normally I can find something redeeming about a company or product, but this company was clearly only interested in my sale and not my future purchases or referrals.I am including a few pictures to give you an idea of the extent of the rot and how it could NOT have been missed by the installers.

We had our front and rear doors installed through ClearView. The salesman that helped us choose the doors was extremely knowledgeable and the installers were fast and efficient. Overall, we are very pleased with our new doors, and every member of the company that we interacted with has been personable and professional. I definitely recommend this company.

Clearview replaced all 16 windows in my house and a standard sliding glass door. I normally don't write public reviews but clearview did such an excellent job that I felt I had to. After dealing with an array of windows and home improvement companies I called clearview because they were the only dealer of Okna windows that would service Calvert County, MD. That was a lucky coincidence for me because they turned out to to be excellent. The salesman had actual samples of the window I intended to order (Okna 700 casement) as opposed to every other company who showed me whatever double hung sample they kept in the back of the truck. The contract and schedule were straightforward. The installers for clearview are the rockstars of their trade - I don't have the words to describe how skilled and professional they are. During and after the job clearview coordinated with the manufacturer to return and install a few parts that didn't ship with the original order. They returned later to install the fixtures and do touch-ups. And their front office called me just to make sure everything was squared away at the end. A couple years ago, Clearview replaced all our older Andersen windows with their energy-efficient windows, and WOW, what a difference it has made in terms of temperature stabilization and noise reduction! Our heating and cooling bills are reduced as a result of the improved efficiency. The staff was fabulous and installed the windows quickly and cleaned up well afterwards. So recently, I contacted them to replace my 12’ sliding glass door. Again, the service and installation went beautifully and we are most happily satisfied with all of our windows and this door. I heartily recommend ClearView for their products and service. The lifetime warranty is a nice bonus as well!

Every part of the experience with Clearview Windows and Doors was exceptional. Salesman was knowledgeable and precise in what to expect. Windows came in as expected and on time. Installers were quick but did not look like they were rushed. 11 windows installed in 1 day. They cleaned after installation, calked and were amazing. The appearance inside and outside looks like they are seamless with my existing cedar shingle siding outside my house. And the inside is also exactly as if there were installed when my pine walls were installed. I give them a 10+. I highly recommend them.Service: Window installation

Had several companies come out and give me estimates. Clearview was definitely the most responsive and easiest to deal with. Not the cheapest bid, but price isn't everything. Had to get one repair under warranty, took a little effort to get the ball rolling but they fixed it with no objection. Installers were nice and professional. Would recommend.

I used Clearview Window about 5 years ago to install our windows and they did a great job. Recently I had them out to help with a small problem I had with one of the windows opening properly. What I really like is how they first tried to help me over the phone by having me send pictures and talking through the problem in case I could fix and would save me the cost of a service call.
