John’s company is without a doubt the best in the business. Professional, fair, and doesn’t cut corners. The roof installation at my house was done within the estimated time, the job site was always clean (didn’t find a single nail in the yard after!), and with children and pets that’s important. The roof looks and functions great. I would not hesitate to recommend American Home Care to family and friends, and in fact have done so already. I chose this company because they replaced my neighbors roof and did such a great job that I asked for their card.

This was the 2nd time I've contracted John and his team. Both experiences were exceptional and I cannot recommend them enough. Installaton was flawless and cleanup impeccable. We obtained several quotes from other roofers and although John wasn't the absolute lowest priced, he did work with us on discounting our job to a price we were happy with and didn't charge us after the install for unforeseen sheets of plywood that had to be replaced. He was the ONLY contractor that quoted all materials required to comply with the roofing manufacturer's warranty. Don't cut corners as this is a classic example of "you get what you pay for" and would definitely contract them again.

I did quite a bit of internet research before deciding to contact American Home Care L.L.C. for my roofing project. My research revealed very positive reviews for this company and I must agree with those reviews!American Home Care L.L.C. is a family oriented company owned and operated by John Moir. The company prides itself on providing a positive customer experience and professional work results. They use top quality materials which were fairly priced and the quality of their workmanship is evident in the completed project.John was extremely responsive in our communications and answered all my questions promptly and throughly. Based on our discussions, I eventually decided to have new skylights with laminated glass and solar ‘remote controlled’ shades installed in addition to the new roof. I also decided on new gutters with leaf guards. John kept me informed during all phases of the projects and he stopped by my house several times during the day to ensure the quality of the work and that it was progressing as expected. He also checked in with me to see if I had any concerns. All the debris was removed before they left and they even used a magnetic sensor to ensure all nails were removed from my lawn and driveway!I am extremely pleased with the professional job done by this company and highly recommend them.

We reached out through Angie about our leaking skylights and John contacted us within an hour. Needless to say, John came out the next day, saw our issue and well, we had new skylights installed within 5 days. Can't beat John's responsiveness and professionalism. John Moir, the owner, called us back right away and was out the next day to give us an estImate to replace our leaking 30-year old family room skylight. John was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us a fair estimate and completed the installation of our replacement skylights in less than a week. His men were friendly and took pride in their work. We will never work with a large remodeling or roofing company again. We have always been turned off by a salesman with glitzy brochures whose company will not take a small job. John’s price does not have to cover TV ads, glossy brochures and a salesman’s commission. We look forward to working with John and his crew again. I had several roof estimates beforehand. Though when American Home stopped by the professionalism was quite obvious. Upon receiving the estimate it was the best quality one for sure. I love my new roof! John and his crew were so easy to work with. They were very professional. The materials that were used were excellent and warranted. I feel so confident and have peace of mind now that my roof has been replaced. There were some issues with my old roof that they quickly identified and fixed. They whole job took just one day. I had 2 major projects done by John at American Home Car. They replaced my roof which desperately needed repair. Ended up replacing 15 sheets of plywood to ensure it was fix properly. They did a great job. Had it all done in one day. Very professional job. Ice and water shield, quality products and quality installation. I also had John do a lot of interior work for me to get the house ready to rent after moving to a new home. Paint almost the entire interior, all carpet replaced, replace window, fix 2 doors, fix ceiling damage from water (hence the new roof), fixed some hand rails, etc. Again another quality job. Good products, great quality installation/application. Both projects John gave me a VERY fair price for the work that needed to be done. He even worked to get me a Veterans discount with some of the product vendors. I couldn't have asked for a better company to work with. I will definitely be recommending American Home Care to my friends/coworkers and I will definitely use them again in the future.

Impressed! John was very responsive, communicated very well, accommodated my tight schedule, and was honest. He checked my skylight thoroughly, roof and in the ceiling, found it to be bone dry, not leaking. Good news, of course, whilst my painting contractor insisted the water marks were from an existing leak. Turns out, the water marks are from a previous leak, a very previous leak (8 yrs ago!). John came out and explained everything that would be accomplished during the replacement of my wind damaged roof... not only did it happen but the expectations were exceeded!!! 7 years ago we had John/ American Home Care replace the front portion of our roof. They did an EXCELLENT JOB it looks fabulous with top grade lifetime materials. At that time he advised us that the rear roof could wait (that helped us financially) if we could live with the color difference, we did and it was fine.Fast forward to April 2020 our rear roof has seen one too many high wind storms. It was time for replacement. I reached out to John they came out the same day I had a quote the very next day . A week later our roof is complete with the same top grade materials as the front. The workers cleaned up thoroughly before they left. No payment was due until the job was complete. John is a really nice person to boot. JOB WELL DONE!!!!

I never imagined having my roof replaced would be as easy as it was with John and his team at American Home Care. We had other contractors come out who gave astronomical quotes and wanted us to make a decision and sign a contract the same day offering “same day discounts”. John was completely different to say the least. His motto is “no pressure” and the entire process was absolutely no pressure. John showed us the products used and photos of completed roofs and sent us our quote the next day.Our quote was fair and even generous- we’d been told by other contractors our roof is larger than average, so we knew that we weren’t getting a “$3,999”roof! lol Anyhow, we went with American Home Care, and we are so pleased with our roof, we want to work with them for our next improvement project. The team was thorough, professional and pictures and receipts were provided during and immediately after the project. John came out again to give a final walk through and to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Definitely consider American Home Care for your home improvement needs.

We did plenty of research and had 6 estimates done before choosing American home Care to install our new rood and gutter systems. It came down to two companies: American Home Care and a large roofing company with plenty of positive reviews. We nailed it by choosing John Moir’s American Home Care (pun intended). John gave us a great client experience, demonstrating throughout that he was the capable, engaging and honest roofing professional we were and you are now looking for.We chose John because he was responsive, answered all my questions, and all communications were clear and timely. John wasn’t salesy, which distinguished him from the other finalist, a large company with good reviews and an impressive body of work in our area. John listened to us! The representative of the other company came across as knowing more about what I wanted than I did and used too much salesmanship in our discussions. John quoted a great price. The other finalist was rather expensive.John was clearly knowledgeable about his craft and industry. He worked collaboratively with us to create the roof and gutter solution best for us. He did all he said he would do and more! Integrity, honesty and quality are clearly important to John and his crew because these and other attributes were clearly on display in all they did, from start to finish, validating their great reputation and even adding to it on our eyes.American Home Care exceeded our expectations, which is seldom is the case with me. The roof went up in one day! John sent an army of skilled roofers to our house before breakfast and they finished, cleaned up and left before dinner. I can’t say enough about the crew. A couple of days later they returned as agreed and installed our gutter system in a few hours. John was the only one who advised us on the 2 layers of existing asphalt shingle that needed to be removed. When examining the roof, he also found a damaged plumbing vent collar and repaired it for free even before we decided to sign up a contract. Great to see John again. I used this company for a roof, it is holding up after 14 years.Recent use for another job came in a bit expensive, but I agreed to pay it.The work was done in short time less than an hour, for a man to climb 3 stories on a ladder to replace a gable vent. Something most of us shouldn't do.Would hire for a roof replacement again.

We had 30 year old skylights that were leaking in our sunroom. They came in first for an estimate and some suggestions on replacement options, and the day of the actual work they did a fantastic job! The new skylights are so nice and so well installed. They left virtually no debris and remove the old skylights for disposal. Great company to have do your home improvements/repairs. I have had work done on my house on two occasions. Each time has been a pleasant experience with no complications or confusion.
