My basement got flooded while I was traveling overseas. After a failed sump pump fix, I hired ServePro Howard County for water damage remediation. The technician Joseph came into the house and took care of everything. It took a couple days for complete drying. After the job, I was sent a detailed report with before and after pictures of all remediation steps done. Invoicing and payment over the phone was a breeze. I am very satisfied with the prompt and professional treatment by this company. I keep their contact handy on my fridge door.

People were nice but they did an awful job. They informed us they got all the mold handled and our kitchen was remediated. I had a third party company come in and check their work before moving forward and there was still wet moldy dry wall in our kitchen, the side of a cabinet was entirely soaked and they never even looked at it. Furthermore, they punched a huge hole in the dry wall (when removing some of it) so therefore actually exposed us to all the wet, moldy dry wall there for over 3 weeks (until Atlantic came in and fixed their work) making our home (which has a toddler and pregnant wife inside) worse off than before they came and opened up the wall.I would never, ever hire this company again.For owner - the job was listed under the name Gallant, not my name.

I was impressed how quickly Servpro came out to take water out of my basement. They worked quickly and efficiently. The techs that I worked with were very professional. I was a little frustrated that it was so difficult to get an answer to how much things cost. There is a lot of specialization and it doesn’t seem one department talks to another. It was easy for them to work with my insurance, so the cost didn’t end up being that critical. However, if insurance hadn’t covered the damages I would have had more frustration with that.

We contracted Servpro for a major bathroom project. From start to completion we were treated respectfully and our job had highly professional management. Each team from tile to electrical and all the in between were stellar at their crafts . We have the bathroom we always desired, and we will have more projects with servpro in the future. A hot water leak went unnoticed until wet spots began appearing on the carpet in an adjoining room. We called SERVPRO which dispatched a clean up crew one day after a new hot water weather was installed. The crew in two hours assessed the problem removed the wet carpet and removed a section of sheet rock which was water damaged. They installed five fans and a very large dehumidifier which dried the basement floor. A few days later they removed the fans and dehumidifier. The crew worked fast and were very professional in their treated of our home.

We had a flood caused by our dishwasher hose in the middle of the night that led to water damage on main floor and basement. ServPro came out and began the drying out process. Dave from ServPro was always available for questions as this process took a while with 2 levels and extensive damage. The ServPro team was professional and worked hard to clean out the water damaged materials and salvage what they could for us. Basement got flooded from last weeks storm. They told me they had over 60 homes calling in for same services however they were able to rush someone over the following day. Donny the Lead Service Tech was very personable and immediately did what was needed to get everything under control. Thanks to his quick and expert actions our carpet was dried and no mold was evident. Thank you for helping us out in such an unfortunate situation.

I woke up one morning after a bad storm to a ceiling collapse. I called SERVPRO of Howard County and within hours they were there. That very day Jay and Carlos had the ceiling torn out and the industrial dryers were in place. Jay called someone to fix the roof where the water came in and that was done immediately. He also came by every day to check on the condition of the ceiling while the drying process went on. After the site was dried completely, Mason came right in and patched up the ceiling with drywall and painted the ceiling. It looked like it had never happened. The communication between myself, the office customer service and the men on the job was superb! These men were professional, kind, caring and perfectionists. This is a very rare occurrence these days. Servpro of Howard County should be your first call.

The guys were professional, yet friendly, and explained everything they were doing while performing the cleanup process. The SERVPRO company was assigned by our home insurance. The SERVPRO team were prompt and on time, and they did a very good job taking care of water cleanup on the floor, removing carpet, moving around furniture and follow-ups during the drying process. The original contract included services that were never completed. I had to request a credit for those items, otherwise I would have paid for services I never received. The job was quoted to last 2 to 3 weeks and actually went on for over a year. The daily workers rushed and did poor quality work that needed to be done over and over again. The tile guy showed up late most days and several times was a no call no show. The project manager Kevin didn't project manage anything, I did a number of his functions even though I paid for the services. Mason was a waste of time and effort. He talked a good game but never followed up or answered the phone or returned emails. Just an outright nightmare!!!!

After the dishwasher broke and leaked all over the kitchen floor and through the floor into the laundry room, the Servpro technician came to the house, inspected the two rooms, set up fans and large dehumidifiers in both rooms, and ran them for three days. We had a tree fall on our house during the rainstorm that punched holes in our roof causing water damage. The office said they had a waitlist due to the number of calls but would send a crew as soon as possible. They called back within an hour to provide our service window of 12-2pm on Saturday. The crew showed up as promised. Jay was the team lead and his helpers were Q and Nigel. They did a great job assessing the situation and educating us how their process would work. They worked straight through until almost 10:00pm to tackle the worst of the water damage before coming back the next morning to tackle the rest of the job. Jay and his crew were very respectful of our home and family and took great care to minimize any demo they had to complete. They did a good job cleaning up and keeping us informed of where they were throughout the process. Hopefully we don’t have to call Servpro again, but if we do, we will know we are In good hands.
