John and his entire staff are AWESOME and a pleasure to work with. We have had several projects done by his companies. We've had our basement gutted and waterproofed, our gutters replaced and our last project was a porch remodeled. (Begore/After Pics attached)John is very professional. Prior to each project John scheduled an appointment to meet with us (ALWAYS PROMPT AND ONTIME) to go over everything. He was very detailed in what would take place during the project. I admire how knowledgeable he is about the work that they do. He also has the best staff working for him. They are prompt, polite, and professional. They're thorough and work very hard to get the job. We look forward to future projects with John and his companies. They are definitely a 5+ rating company.

We used John to waterproof our basement and liked him so much we decided to remodel our laundry room through him.Throughout the entire process John was easy to communicate with and was always willing to listen. He made adjustments to the project to best address our wants and needs to give us a better looking, highly functional finished product.We can not express enough how thrilled we are with how this project turned out. Now thanks to John and his crew, doing laundry is not a chore anymore it is a treat.

We have worked with John and his crew before. He installed a new sump and water drainage system in our basement, as well as repairing a crack in our wall. After this, we needed a basement room essentially totally refinished due to all of the work they did, and what was done was phenomenal. In a week's time, the room was redone with drywall, new electrical ran where needed, as well as painting and finishing. They also were able to frame up a box to cover the new sump, as well as box up a post in the middle of the room. All in all, the room is amazing, and we would easily recommend Valco to anyone needing remodeling and/or waterproofing done. Thanks again, John!

We’ve worked with John before and were happy to bring him and Valco Custom Remodeling in to refinish our basement. After rehabbing from a flood, John set out to repair all our walls, install moisture barrier sub-flooring, do a total bathroom redo, replace the entrance door, and add some improvements, like a new wet bar and utility closet. What sets John apart is his attention to detail - if something isn’t completely to our liking, he has his team make it so.After the refinishing work was complete in less time than I expected, I asked John for quotes on painting and carpeting. I had other quotes in hand, but John’s commitment to quality work and fantastic communication had me choose him for both jobs.We have a beautiful new basement again, and we can’t wait to use it for entertaining.I’ve already identified other projects around the house, and I feel totally confident calling in John and Valco Custom Remodeling.

We hired Valco for a complicated project that included a full-scale waterproofing of the basement and extending a pipe from the sump pump to the street. Since this was major renovation work, it was a very stressful time for us, but John patiently walked us through the process and explained our options from beginning to end. Midway through the project, we hit an unexpected complication, but John continued to be extremely helpful in letting us know our options. Now the work is complete and we could not be happier with the results. We would absolutely hire Valco again.

Speed and quality – two attributes you want in a contractor. Valco Custom Remodeling, Inc. delivered on both and then some. The work was high quality, done quickly, workers respected our home, and they stayed true to the estimate. We got new flooring, drywall, and painting and it is beautiful! We have been disappointed by contractors in the past, so we really appreciate a satisfactory experience when we get one. We highly recommend Valco.
