I recently had the pleasure of working with Shawn from Superior Damage Restoration to address a persistent water leak issue in a penthouse duplex unit. The problem was that water was seeping through from under the flooring and down the stairs whenever it rained. Previous contractors had incorrectly suggested that the issue was with the balcony door.Shawn and his team provided a comprehensive explanation of the root cause and took a thorough approach to resolve it. They removed the damaged flooring, waterproofed the balcony door, and even assisted with moving furniture around during the process. Despite their initial efforts, the issue persisted, but they didn't give up. Using thermal devices, they identified that the water was actually coming from the rooftop, down the wall frame studs, and into the floor.Once the true source was identified, they promptly waterproofed the rooftop, and after the next rain, I was relieved to see that no water came through. The team then continued with the flooring work, and Shawn offered an excellent choice of new flooring that perfectly matched the shade of the rest of the unit.I'm extremely satisfied with the work done by Shawn and his team. They were accommodating, responsive, efficient, and pleasant to have around. I'm looking forward to working with them to waterproof other areas of the rooftop to ensure this issue is fully resolved. I highly recommend Superior Damage Restoration for their professionalism and dedication to solving complex problems.

I used Superior to install a bathroom in our basement. I was very pleased with the professionalism and work performance of this business and their crew. They kept us informed of all work being done and even with the delays during the snow, they were there with updates and continued good service. I was equally pleased with the completed project and will more than likely use them in the future. I recommend this company for your construction projects.UPDATE: I'm not so sure about this company now. I don't want to change my review because the work was good and we were pleased, but after not selecting them for our next job, they haven't been back to fix an issue we originally spoke about and was promised would be taken care of. I believe the contractor was upset that we couldn't go with them due to costs and now they're breaking their promise. Had a small patch of mold developing on my basement ceiling. It was caused by a leak in the pipe. With just a slight delay after signing the estimate, the job was completed in one day. It involved cutting out a section of drywall, repairing/replacing a section of the pipe, drying out the ceiling and wood, replacing the drywall, and painting the ceiling to match. The workers were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. They took care to make sure my belongings were protected from dust and debris.
