We have a very positive experience from start to finish with Royal PLUS. Kim was our estimator and was very thorough and knowledgeable. The quote for our damage repairs was very reasonable. James was the carpenter that completed our repairs. He was very kind, respectful, prompt and thorough. He did very detailed and professional work. Wayne, was the construction project manager who was a very responsive and excellent communicator. He followed through and made sure the project was completed to our satisfaction. Excellent customer service by all. We would definitely use Royal Plus again.

We were very satisfied with all the people and work that was done in our home after a leak behind one of our bathtubs.Wayne kept us up to date with all the steps throughout the process and did his best to get us back in our home in a timely manner.Everyone was on time and very professional. Home looks great after just a few weeks.Thanks to everyone that we met throughout process. Thanks again to Wayne, Kristen, Holden, James and everyone else. Holden was very informative during the demo explaining everything an was even there to help with pack out and putting everything back in place. Kristen was great with all her knowledge and had pictures of where everything was in each room and during move back in. James did an excellent job on all the woodwork. Was even able to salvage a custom bookcase and shelves next to fireplace. Thanks to all the ladies in the office that I talked to over the phone. I would have given a 1 star but the team and the estimator who was the first to contact me were very good. My insurance company contacted this outfit to come in and check for mold after I had a small leak that turned into a major renovation. Cody contacted me on a weekend and quickly set up an appointment the next day. He had his remediation team come out. Janice & Max were great & professional as was Cody. The issue was the project managers. The first one came out and I didn't hear anything for 2 weeks, so I had to contact the office and request another manager. Communication was horrible. The estimate seemed pretty clear. Cody had told me I could use their people or I could use my own for the various work that had to be completed. When I was contacted by a representative from Empire Flooring almost a month later (I had a portion of my floor torn up & my island had to be moved, which was damaged and had no countertop on it). The quality & selection was small & I really could not find any to my liking. I kept asking her what the cost by square foot was and she would not respond to me. She finally said it was in my budget. After reading reviews for them I opted for another company. I also decided to go with another cabinet company for my countertops as their price was way too much for what I wanted to pay for quartz countertop. They wanted to pull all my lower cabinets & an 8 foot pantry out to put the floor in. I was concerned from the beginning about this that more damage would be done to my cabinets. Apparently the cost was more than they originally estimated and Royal Plus requested more money from my insurance company which they approved. This took another month! After picking out the cabinet to replace my island, I thought it had been ordered. No. It took another month & then I was informed that it would be 8-12 weeks for the cabinet to come in. The remediation was performed March 14. This was now May 30. When the cabinets finally came in (Aug) I was contacted by email, no phone calls. The project mgr. gave me a schedule. They would come in on Aug 10 to remove my furniture to have the floor put in, the 11 they would remove my cabinets & countertops...this meant I had no kitchen. On Aug 14 it would take 5 days to put the flooring down. No furniture in my living, dining area and office and still no kitchen. Then the next week they would install the island Aug 21 and replace the cabinets, paint on Aug 22-23 & move my furniture back in on Aug 24. The counter people I hired (I will be reviewing them, they were excellent!) could not come in until the island was installed and all the cabinets secured to do the template. She had told me it would be 2 weeks before the countertop would be in. Which meant Sept 6 at least, I would still be without a sink. That's when I put my foot down and said no to the cabinets being pulled! I was only unable to use my kitchen for a couple of days with the cabinets not being removed to put the floor in. When it came time to pay the bill, I assumed that the original estimate to remove & reset the cabinets would be taken off my bill. No. I was told that they had to go with the revised bid from the cabinet company that I never received, just an amount. On the original estimate the cost to remove and reset the cabinets came to almost $1000. But now, according to the project manager & the cabinet company the cost was only $350. They charged $500 to put in an island in but was going to charge me only $350 to remove and replace 5 cabinets & an 8 ft pantry. Really? I can only assume they inflated the price of the island, which I assumed was the same quality as the replaced cabinet. At no time did I choose an upgrade on it. I could not talk to anyone over the project manager about this with Royal Plus. No one returned my calls or questions. I and my insurance company were scammed. Don't use them. You are better off picking your own people to do the work. Let them do the estimate, but don't sign a contract, take the money the ins. co gives you and find your own people.

Cody and Demetrius arrived on time at my house for an appt.The moment they entered my door they were extremely friendly and professional at the same time. I felt at ease from the start. They explained the entire process of what would happen step by step. The two employees asked me several times, if I had any questions about the process or the actions they were proceeding with. They told us exactly what the next few steps would be and how long approximately it would take. I would give this company 10 stars if I could!They definitely displayed empathy for the situation my family was going thru.

This company saved us from having a lot of down time when our office flooded from a sprinkler head. They came in at 2am and got the water out and had equipment set so we could partially open the next day. Thank you for the amazing service that was provided. I hope I don’t have to use them again, but I know who to call if it does happen again. Thank you to the awesome crew that saved us.

It seemed like a God send after our house flooded for the insurance company to offer “one stop shopping” for packing/moving, mitigation, renovations and flooring. We were offered Royal Plus to handle it all and trusted them to do so.For over 2 months now, we have been housed in a hotel. After a few weeks of not hearing anything, I reached out to find out when we could pick flooring and cabinets and paint. My house sat with no improvement for weeks. Told to pick out flooring finally but they can’t tell me the cost of the flooring, only the amount the insurance is allowing. Yet the insurance company said if the flooring is cheaper than the allowance, the customer gets the difference. All the contract says is “N/C flooring allowance covers”.Not only dragging their feet and seeming shady, finally got work going-drywall replaced, painting done. I don’t know anything about construction but as a homeowner I don’t like sloppy painting, seams in baseboards not lining up, seams where the new drywall was put in and puttied/sanded showing and parts of the wall that have evident water damage just painted over! I complained to have it corrected before we move back in so the seams have now been caulked by what looks like my 2nd grader. The water damaged walls have an extra thick coat of paint over the visible cracks and warping. Unacceptable workmanship! I now have random contractors coming over to write estimates on what it would cost to fix what Royal Plus has “renovated”. So far the 2 that have looked at it were appalled.For the record, don’t just use a company that your insurance offers. Do your homework. I wish I had and read these reviews before I agreed to Royal Plus. Horrible company. Slow, they make mant many mistakes. The only thing they’re good at is sending bills and harassing on the phone and in person about payment all throughout the process. They try to get you to pay out of pocket even though insurance is paying. Be VERY careful with this company.Services: Flood restoration, Cleaning

I had a leak in my kitchen in January. My insurance company recommended that I use Royal Plus for the contracting. My kitchen was gutted and stayed gutted (no floors, ceilings, walls, cabinets, sink) for 5 months!!! I understand when dealing with insurance, things can take longer. Finally, they installed the floors in April, but didn’t have the transition piece in. Eric said it had been ordered and when it came in he would call me to schedule the install. I waited two months and didn’t hear anything. When I called, Eric told me it had already been installed. It hadn’t. He was nice, polite, very apologetic. Put me right on the schedule and it was finally installed. As for the contracting: Mike is rude and condescending. I felt like I had no guidance throughout this process. I knew there was a mistake in my bill. Mike argued with me over email. I got so frustrated, I threatened to let my insurance company know, and miraculously he found a mistake. A $500 one. If you ask me, that sounds like insurance fraud. I am a nurse. Not a contractor. I don’t know anything about insurance claims or being a contractor. If I hadn’t painstakingly gone over that bill I would be out another $500! If you decide to use Royal Plus, make sure you carefully go over charges, and don’t sign ANYTHING unless you understand what you are signing! Ask questions when you don’t understand something! I would never recommend using Royal Plus. I will never use them again. Good luck!

I came home to my refrigerator line leaking apparently all day while I was at work. When I came home I had water all over the half my kitchen so I called my ins and then chose Royal Plus from a list. Called they were there promptly, explained what they would be doing and proceeded to extract as much water and then pulled Laminent flooring, set fans. by morning it looked dry but they called to come back to check. I began the wonderful experience of buying my first home last August. The house needed a bit of work, so I decided to contact a friend of mine who is a contractor. After looking at the job, he felt that it was more work than he could handle and recommended I use a bigger company, which led me to Royal Plus. With high hopes and big dreams, I contacted them and got a scheduled time for the estimator to meet me at the property within the week. He showed up, the estimate went well, and I felt like the process was going well. This was the end of my happy feelings towards Royal Plus. 3 WEEKS later, I finally got the estimate in paper, but not the contract to do the work. With the help of my mortgage officer, I got a hold of the construction manager only to find that he had handed all the paperwork off to the regional manager, Mike McMahon a week and half ago. 2 weeks after the estimate and numerous unanswered calls to Mike, I finally got the contract. After the appraisal, I had another list of repairs to add to the first, so I grudgingly called Mike directly to try to get it done quickly. He almost restored my faith in Royal Plus, almost. He scheduled the estimator, the construction manager, and himself to do the estimate so the paperwork would go faster. It. Did. Not. Mike failed to deliver the paperwork within the following month, and failed to show up for conference calls and meetings that were scheduled around him specifically. Now, it is January 2nd, and I cannot afford to wait for this house any longer. I just backed out of the contract on a house that I absolutely loved and started the entire process over with a different house that doesn't need any contractor work. I WILL NEVER CALL ROYAL PLUS FOR WORK AGAIN AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. IF I HEAR ANYONE MENTION THEM, I WILL FLAMESPRAY THEIR NAME. They don't care for the customer or their deadlines.

I discovered a water loss in the kitchen of my rental house. I turned off the water and called my insurance company. Royal Plus was there the next morning to start removing the affected materials and discover the source of the leak. They were excellent with the whole process; from drying the place out and getting rid of the wet stuff, to repairing and replacing. By far the most unprofessional experience. Their project manager Michael Olaughlin is the laziest individual I ever met. It took over 2 months to just set up an appointment to pick out cabinets. When I went to find a 2nd opinion from Home Depot and Lowe’s I was informed I was being ripped off by Royal Plus. Royal plus ? More like Royal Pain.Does your records indicate how many voice messages I left Michael with no response. Also, me contacting other individuals to relay a message to Michael to contact me ? It probably doesn’t at all. Face the facts and fix what’s wrong with Michael instead of ignoring it. Secondly, I received a better quote from Home Depot which includes better quality cabinets, granite countertops and the labor! You guys were charging me over $16,000 just for cabinets and labor ! Home Depot not only provided more but it cost less. Good luck with your sham you have going on.

BEWARE! We had major water damage from a break in our bathroom water pipe. Royal Plus came out quickly and set up fans and replaced the sub flooring...we haven’t seen them since. They have left our bathroom torn apart, toilet, sink, and tub disconnected, and cabinets thrown in another room. It is now October and they have not been back to finish the job that started in June. Every time I call, I am promised I will know something by the end of the week...then I never hear from them again.AWFUL!!

Had a pipe break under my master bathroom sink. Our insurance provider USAA arranged for Royal Plus to do the repairs. It would include a complete remodel of the master bath. Replace flooring in master bath, master bedroom, living room, hallway, and second bathroom. Work began and it has been a nightmare. The company has lied to us multiple times. The new shower we ordered was broke by their crew and we were told "it came that way". The flooring has had to be installed, reinstalled, and reinstalled again because the installation crew was incompetent. The company lost parts to our bed and never told us. Plumbing to shower was installed wrong and flooded bathroom again onto the new insulation (which had to be replaced). The process has taken over 2 months and is still going on. There are so many problems we have had to deal with that I could write a book. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT HAS BEEN A NEVER ENDING NIGHTMARE FROM DAY 1.

Don't waste your time!! Called to schedule an estimate for a broken window and left a msg as no one took my call. Waited several days, didnt hear back so called again to schedule date and time. Rushed to be home at appointed time and estimator never showed nor called. Got an email 3.5 hrs later saying they could have someone out at the same missed scheduled time but gave no day they were referring to. After getting the estimate I called to schedule the repair. Again had to leave a msg. 10 days later I still had not received a call back so I called again. Was told the earliest they could make repair was in 3 months!!I tried to give this company a chance, but every step of the way they made no effort to communicate. When I expressed my disappointment and said I would be writing this terrible review it was shrugged off with an "Ok". Obviously they are Ok with this poor level of service and do not wish to try and make things right. If they care this little about responding to customers I can only imagine the poor quality level of their work. So one month later I am no closer to replacing a single boarded up window. They simple do not care at all!UPDATE: After customer service at company Headquarters contacted me regarding my review and apologized I gave Royal Plus a second chance to resolve things.They told me they needed to do another estimate to ensure accuracy, though it was done by a senior estimator 3 months earlier and nothing had changed with the dimensions of the window needing replacing.I obliged and scheduled another estimate. I was told they could come when I was not home and get what they needed from the outside of the building. One week after the scheduled estimate I had still not heard back so I emailed for an update. Another week past and I still had not recieved a response so I emailed again, CCing HQ customer service in the email. My response after two weeks from the scheduled estimate was asking me when would be a good time to get inside the building to do the estimate?! No effort was made on their part in 2 weeks to notify me of this.I told them I was only available Fridays and was told they would clear the estimators schedule and come Friday. After setting up the appointnent I received an email saying actually the estimator was not available the Fri we had just scheduled, so Id have to wait til the following Fri (adding an additional 2 weeks). That would be a total of 1 month for a 2nd estimate because they dont have confidence in their own 1st estimate.So now 4 months after first contacting Royal Plus I am still no closer to having the single window replaced and without apparently a valid estimate.They dont reach out to communicate with their customers nor do they communicate with each other within the organization. They are a disorganized mess and have disappointed me with every interaction.Spare yourself the aggrivation and find another company who is competent! They most certainly are not!

Wish I could put 0 stars. Dealing with this company has been a true nightmare. Between the incompetent people and the lies and broken promises I would never in a million years recommend them.this is a picture of what the flooring people did to fix one of the many boards that were messed up. He did this and put my bed back over it so I wouldn't see it and tried to hide it from us because he figured I would never see it. Then after we saw it and they came back to "reinstall" the floor AGAIN not only did they bring the same installers that I firmly said I did not want in my house again they tried to take of the sharpie X that marked the bad boards with turpentine so they could reuse them because they ran out of flooring(which I told them ahead of time would happen)I saw the head flooring guy James wiping it off and handing it to the guy to put it back on and then when I confronted him he said he didn't do it. I SAW him do it! Then they said the flooring is all defective. Now they have to come for a third time to pull all our furniture and belongings out of the house AGAIN To reinstall the floor that we had picked out originally that their guy said was below our insurance budget but then we were told he "made a mistake" in telling us that and we had to get the floor they now say is defective. That is only a tiny bit of what we have gone through!!! BUYER BEWARE!!My husband will be calling you tomorrow, I have to work.I wrote this after I spoke to Meg this morning and she was very rude to me. I understand that my husband wrote a review but I felt that pictures speak louder than words. We have a huge list of things to talk to you about.

I have used this company for many years, I truly would have no one else to perform work for me as they do EVERTHING from small construction jobs, large, plumbing, hvac and even flooring. Everyone that I have had the pleasure of dealing with has been friendly and extremely helpful. As all companies they have their busy times and some times I have had to wait but, I am patient. Contract with Royal Plus signed and deposit paid.in Sept 2019 for home repair from tree falling against house. Repairs have still not been completed satisfactorily as of April 2020. Promises, promises and more promises. Poor workmanship on a fence they replaced and shoddy work on house. Begrudgingly accepted fence replacement but did get some repairs to house after complaining and sending pictures. House repairs still not complete.
