I got several quotes for new siding and gutters on my house and I decided to go with Platinum Exteriors because Brian was down to Earth, direct, and knowledgeable. I was leaning towards black siding and Brian was very honest and upfront with me about the drawbacks of going with such a dark color, but he also respected my vision. He was able to find the color for me in stock and got the materials lined up in just a couple of weeks. As we were getting ready to begin the work, I also asked him if he could do anything to rehab the shabby and neglected deck that was on my house when I bought it. He looked it over thoroughly and came up with an excellent plan that resulted in me pretty much getting a brand new deck for an amazing price. He and his crew showed up early each morning and worked tirelessly all day to complete the job in well under a week. The dark siding required a great deal of precision in order to look straight and flawless. They went the extra mile to make sure it all looks as smooth as possible. This was no small task because it turns out that there was nothing but bumpy plywood under my old siding. And some of it was in very bad shape. They fixed this completely professionally and did not charge me extra. Not only that, apparently they discovered an important beam was missing altogether from the eave of my house, and again, they repaired this professionally without question. They also removed several old utility lines and satellite dishes from the side of my house. Every bit of trash and debris was picked up from my yard, and Brian even took some garbage from my garage to the dump for me on the way out. I mean, seriously, I could not have asked for more and I am so grateful for Brian and his crew. My house looks brand new, it is so much better insulated, and I have such peace of mind. I will absolutely be calling Platinum Exteriors again for future home improvement needs!Service: Gutter installation

Highly recommend! Brian and his team are professional and do great work. He did a roof replacement on our home; we were happy with the entire roofing process so we hired him to replace all windows and doors and to side the house. Brian steered us in the right direction with choosing materials, colors, etc., and was very patient when we were indecisive. While performing the work Brian and his team were punctual, polite, and tidy. We are completely happy with the look and how protected we are from the outside elements now. Would hire again!

Brian and his crew were wonderful to work with and the quality of work is 10/10! We had our roof replaced on the house and the detached garage after storm damage. Brian was very responsive and kept us informed of his plans and any schedule changes due to weather; his crew arrived early and worked hard all day, everyday, until the job was done. Nothing was rushed, they took their time, ensuring every thing was perfect and it looks absolutely amazing! He even recommended someone to reattach and calibrate our satellite dish when Direct TV was scheduling 12 days out. I couldn't be happier with him and all of his crew. Brian Long and his guys installed new siding on our house. They wrapped the entire house in new Tyvek paper and 3/8” fan fold insulation. They replaced some soft and written wood as well as installing a new garage access door. They didn’t do anything outside the scope of the original contract without contacting us first. Great company! We had some shingle damage from a severe storm and after expert consult, decided to replace our aging roof. Contacted Brian, the owner, through the website and got an immediate response. He inspected the roof, gave us some options, and then got us scheduled. The entire job was completed within 2 weeks of my initial contact. Brian is knowledgeable and trustworthy, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The materials are high-quality and the roof looks amazing. I especially appreciated the prompt communication and felt really lucky to get scheduled (and completed) so quickly. Let me just say, Brian was a breath of fresh air after the other contractors we had talked to. He was straight, to the point, with no BS. We had a “little” situation where our neighbor accidentally shot our house with a shotgun. Those pesky squirrels.... Brian worked with our insurance company and all went smoothly. We decided to add onto the project and had had the roof redone and our front porch, including the front door. Brian went the extra mile and found cedar posts for our columns at a much more reasonable price than what we had been finding. Let me just say, the finished product was so much more than I could have imagined. Our house is beautiful! Every time we pull into our driveway and look at our house, we are amazed at how beautiful it is. Brian’s attention to detail and his customer service couldn’t have been better. I highly recommend him to anyone I find looking to have work done. If you see the blue house in the pictures.... Yup! That’s our home. Love it! 😄

Brian is a true professional and someone I'd highly recommend. He came out to help us on a siding project for my home and he was extremely generous with his time and had excellent ideas about installation of siding on my older home and immediately spotted water infiltration issues with the pre-existing windows and siding that no other contractors even noticed or pointed out. He showed us some of the other home exterior work he has done recently and it is top notch. Many projects have unique designs and creative elements that prove he has an eye for design as well as functionality of siding, windows, roofs, etc. Brian is very passionate about his work and it is immediately apparent when you meet him. I don't think it gets much better than Platinum Exteriors if you are in and around the Baltimore County/Carroll County area in MD.
