I had the pleasure of purchasing the roofing materials for my new garage build from Beacon. I chose them because they're convenient to me and work with homeowners. I wasn't disappointed. I ordered in person with Eric. The price was good, the materials were in stock, and they delivered everything when I was ready. I'm also going to order the siding from them.

I went here on a Thursday afternoon after getting off work at 2:00. I came in hope of getting new shingles and felt paper etc to put on a new roof for my house. As soon as I arrive I am greeted by Sergio, and told to stay behind a chain that separates the outside warm, air from the inside shady, warehouse. I tell Sergio what I want and he was kind, but didn’t know what he was doing. I asked him if they had the shingles I wanted in 40 or 50 year and he said every shingle has a lifetime warranty. This made me mad as I know that the shingles I want can come in heavier shingles, yet he wanted to push me to get the lifetime warranty ones so I would spend more money. He then handed me a book. I flipped through it and it was just shingles and about them. I already knew what I wanted, making the book useless. Next I was brought to an office to order felt paper, thank god because it was extremely hot in the sun behind the chain.I got the felt paper I wanted. I then gave the man my check and I had to then call a number to confirm my check. By then it was 2:50, just 10 minutes until they close, and I was put on hold by this number I was supposed to call to confirm the check. I was on hold for 5 minutes and then proceeded to what the receiver asked. I confirmed my information and then gave the man my phone. He confirmed my order and it was then extremely over priced. What a waste of time, would have rather traveled 3 hours to Cavetown. Nobody knew what they were talking about. Untrained, unprofessional, and unimpressed. Will be going somewhere else next time.

Went to Williamsport MD roof center to buy new siding and when myself and my girlfriend walked in the door we was told only 1 person is allowed in the store so Idid walk in and receive booklet about their siding an DC the older gentleman behind the counter was very rude ..I can see why there was no vehicles in the parking lot when I arrived and if that's how they do business I will not buy anything from them. So customers beware because if home depot and lowes and other stores allow alot more than 2 people into their stores why can't this place

It's called The Roof Center but they have so much more then roofs, siding, windows, decking, and more. All the guys behind the counter are friendly and very helpful. They know what they're talking about unlike box stores. They stock more products then most places so you can get what ya want when ya want.
