Takes them a month to just make a appointment. Takes even longer to get the job started and even longer to finish if it gets finished. The people in the office loose maul and papers at there convenience. Was told this was best company around. Leaving disappointed and wander how they made it this far.

R. J. McDonald Co., installed a new fuel oil tank, furnace and electric water heater. The removal of the old equipment was completed in a timely manor with no accident and no damage to my house. They had to cut the tank in quarters in order to remove it. The crew did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them for future work. R.J. also provides fuel oil deliveries and is very dependable on its automatic delivery.

Very disappointed. I've used this company for years and have had no complaints BUT....I own two properties in a 65 + park and one of the homes had problems with the air conditioning. I called for service and they came out Friday to fix it. Saturday morning i get a call from the person living there that the air conditioning wasn't working and it VERY hot! I called McDonalds and left word to have the repairman please come back out because the unit still wasn't working. A VERY rude woman called me back and said that the company doesn't send out repairman for air conditioning on the weekends because they have to pay time and a half! REALLY???????!!!!!! So sorry but it's not my fault nor the tenants that it wasn't fixed the first time!!!!!!!!!!!!

My grandfather has been using RJ McDonald for 40 years and when he passed away he left his house to me. So of course I would continue to use them. Well never again. I live out of state so I asked to please be communicated through email. I have a tenant living in the house so when her furnace was acting up I told gave RJ McDonald a call. It took a couple days for them to set up work with the tenant, which was fine. I told them to please email me when they needed to contact me since there is a three hour time difference and I have two kids. When I woke up this morning they withdrew $800 from my bank account. They NEVER emailed me, NEVER talked to me on the phone, NEVER sent me an invoice. Just charged my account, under no circumstance is it ok to charge someone account without sending them an invoice and getting any written consent to withdraw money. They had my email because when I was on the phone with the office manager she emailed me an invoice right away, who also with an attitude said "what do you want me to do". What I wanted was communication and the 40 years of excellence service that was promised. I will never use them and will find another heating service next time that will communicate and give me proper paperwork before they charging my account.

Been using RJ McDonalds for over a year now!The staff in the office is always polite and helpful and what is really nice is a human answers the phone during business hours!Their service crew is professional and friendly! They are willing to answer questions and address concerns which I find very comforting!For service calls I have found they are quick to respond! The delivery crew is also very friendly and polite!Not to many companies I feel comfortable recommending but RJ McDonalds is one I would highly recommend!

We were a little strapped on cash this month during this deep freeze cause off layoff before Christmas. Their delivery truck was in front of my house delivering to the neighbor across the street. I called the office to see if they would help us with just a smaller amount than a hundred gallons like 50gals they wouldn't even have had move the truck. Couldn't help us out with staying warm in single digits. That's pretty terrible customer relations if you ask me...rediculous

The rudest customer service ive ever experienced. I called with a question new years day and the man that answered the phone who was supposedly the supervisor was so rude and disrespectful when I asked why my gage wasnt reading it was filled when a service man came 3 days ago. He told me it wasnt his problem that my gage was wrong and was 0 help. He was so incredibly rude to me and wouldn't offer to help me figure this out. I never received a receipt either and just wanted a few questions answed. I have been a loyal customer for over 2 years and WILL NOT BE RETURNING AND TAKING MY MONEY ELSEWHERE THEY ARE FRAUDS!!!!!
