Can't say enough about the team at Eyles Contracting. I've used them twice now, once to replace my porch roof a few years ago and now to replace my main roof. They provide quick and free, no hassle estimates.I mainly dealt with Robert the owner who was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I was having water filtration issues and they were able to schedule me fairly quickly. Their crew was able to strip the roof (multiple layers), install new insulation, decking and new EPDM membrane in a single day which is pretty impressive. We chose Eyles for a complete roof and skylight replacement based on shingle quality (and its ability to combat algae) and the material and labor warranties offered in the package we chose.From the initial consultation to final clean up, every step of the process was handled with the utmost professionalism and expertise. But what impressed us most was the care and attention to detail each member of the installation crew took while removing the old roof and installing the new one. Their precision and craftmanship were evident throughout the process and most notable when they were replacing the flashing around our chimney, a vent above our bathroom, and the installation of our new skylight. Stone masons working on a neighbor’s property provided the very best testament when they approached us and said “We’ve watched your installation this week and were amazed by the work ethics of those roofers. We know who we’re calling when we or someone we know is ready for a new roof.”

I was extremely impressed by this company. I had my roof replaced and the work was of high quality with premium materials, no shortcuts taken. Robert (the owner) is very easy to work with and is extremely fair and honest. I have a relatively large and somewhat complicated roof and the roofers were very skilled and meticulous. The crew also took great care in protecting our landscape around the house and thoroughly cleaned up both days they were there. I got estimates from 3 different GAF Master Elite roofers, and not only was Eyles competitively priced, but they did not accept any payment until after the job was done to my satisfaction. I feel very confident this roof will last the 50 years that it is covered by the GAF Golden Pledge Warranty without any problems. My roof had gone decades too long without replacement. The slightly pitched part had over two inches of very old built up roofing on non-standard rafters and plank sheathing, and then a makeshift layer of sheathing and peal and stick on top of that to get by until I could find a company I trusted. After some past bad experiences with roofers I was concerned that it was going to be a nightmare to deal with, but Eyles Contracting made the entire process as easy as possible and came through with handling everything in one day and the result is fantastic!Services: Roof repair, Roof installation

Recently had my roof replaced by the team at Eyles, and am extremely satisfied with the result! There were a few communication hiccups along the way, but those all got smoothed out and ultimately I'm very pleased with the quality of materials and installation I received for the price I paid. They did a great job for a reasonable price.Had a high-slope roof with no ventilation near the end of its life. They talked through a few options for materials with 10/25/30-year warranties, explained each line item, and did a great job with the installation.They provided options for replacing old siding along the roof/wall line and re-flashing the chimney too, which also looks like it was well-done. A few nails scattered around afterwards, but overall they did a good job cleaning up and the job was minimally disruptive.The quotes were about 10-20% less than some unofficial guesstimates I heard from a home inspection crew and real estate agent, even with the ventilation and plywood/siding replacement.A couple months later, and so far everything looks nice and dry inside. Between the solid construction and warranty, I feel pretty comfortable that I won't have to worry about my roof for another few decades.Services: Roof installation, Attic venting installation

Im not the type of person to write a review, good or bad. But I feel compelled to leave this one.We had a water leak after an ice dam incident winter of 2020. Had a few quotes on repairs at the time, but it could just as well been $1M, I couldn’t afford it. So for the next 2.5 years, we scraped & scrounged to finally be able to afford a roof replacement. All the while, watching the damage, ie; cost, go further north in my head. Eyles, along with several others, returned for an updated estimate. Jonathan, was absolutely amazing. He went above & beyond to make sure our concerns were not only heard, but addressed l. Everything from there was underpromised, and well over-delivered. Thank you Eyles!

We were very nervous about the process of getting a new roof after our first-floor ceiling began to leak. We contacted three different contractors - Eyles was the first to respond and the best! Mike came over to our house and looked from basement to attic to help find the source of the problem - including crawling on the attic floor to pull up wet insulation! He was extremely thorough, patient with our many questions, and offered multiple solutions including a roof replacement. Mike also pointed out areas to discuss with other contractors. After a kind call from the owner Robert Eyles, we decided to replace the entire roof. In one day a group of 8 came to our house and worked non-stop (except for a quick lunch) to complete the job - including clean up, in one day! Amazing customer service, pricing, and a dedicated, hard-working crew made working with Eyles truly gratifying - we are very pleased with the entire experience and highly recommend them for any work!

Eyles has been our "go-to" contractor for wind/storm repairs on our roof since we built our house 20 years ago. They have always been fast to respond and do excellent work. Last year, when it was time to replace our roof, we had Eyles do the job. We had received quotes from three contractors for the same scope of work. Eyles provided a better package (including superior materials) than the others for a better price than their "mid-range" packages and the work was done within a day. Eyles Contracting did an amazing job with roof installation on detached garage, rubber roof over family room, front and lower hip sections of roof of main house, and roof over shed. They finished this multi-part job in one day. We were amazed by how the crew efficiently approached the work that included multiple roofs. They worked in teams to finish each part of the job. When one team finished part of the job, they joined in to help other teams. The whole crew did an excellent job with clean up after the job also. The leader of their crew inspected all of the work and they actually redid a small part of flashing over garage to make it perfect. That impressed us a lot. The quality of the work was excellent. The price was competitive and right for the work done. The scheduling and communication from initial contact through job completion was excellent. We had not planned on having shed roof replaced but decided to add that roof a day before the work started and project manager made that happen without delay.
