We recently hired CertaPro to paint an 8-unit apartment building. However, we were disappointed with the quality of work we received. Despite paying for two coats of paint to extend the life of the painting, the paint started peeling badly in the third year. As a result, the building now needs to be repainted. Although CertaPro assured us that they had their "best crew" on the job, the prep-work was not done well, and we had to chase them for several months to make it right. However, we are still waiting for a resolution. We understand that mistakes can happen, but we hope that CertaPro will take our feedback into account and work to improve their services in the future. We encourage potential buyers to approach with caution and to do their due diligence before hiring any contractor.

Great company to work with. Randy came over and reviewed the work that needed to be done. We were in a pinch because repairs needed to be covered before winter set in. Their pricing was competitive with other painters we had estimate the job. Once we agreed to hire them we had several delays that pushed the job. Randy and his team worked with us and as soon as the repairs were completed they were here and got the painting done. Work is excellent. The owner, Randy, confirmed the appointment and was right on time. He did a great job of providing a detailed estimate and explanation of required work. He even provided additional estimate on other work, if I ever needed it. After accepting the estimate, work was scheduled quickly and his team came out on time and completed the work. We hired CertaPro painters to paint our house and trim as well as doing any carpentry repairs needed prior to painting. Before the painting started the entire house and garage was power washed to ensure any black mold or mildew was removed. They also set any nails that were coming out and they caulked the many places that needed caulking.Manny, the site manager assigned to the project, was excellent, he ensured that all work was done and done right. He did all of the carpentry work and a lot of the actual painting. He was there every day to make sure everything was staying on schedule and updated us every day as to their progress.I was impressed on how clean they kept everything. Every day before they left, they would ensure all tools were stored and no messes were left behind.I was told that the entire project, after power washing, would take 3 days and that is exactly how long it took. CertaPro did everything they said they would do in the time frames they outlined in advance.The cost for the project was exactly as quoted, with the exception of additional carpentry work that I requested after the quote was completed and signed off.I would definitely hire CertaPro painters again and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering getting their house painted.Thank you Manny and CertaPro painters for making this project go so smoothly and stress free.Ed Melle69 Westcott RoadHopedale, MaServices: Spray painting, Exterior painting

The painters were friendly, estimate seemed thorough at first glance, that’s the only good things I can say about CertaPro.I can’t speak to price because I needed a painter quickly so went with CertaPro due to positive reviews, but wish I had more time to get other options.Randy’s estimate process was quick and thorough, but it all went downhill from there. I had two large rooms painted, and they didn’t bring a single lamp into the house until the 3rd day of the job. I’ve painted a bit myself, and always have known rule number one is to have good lighting. The crews were literally painting in the dark at times.During the job I had to continually point out spots with overruns, spots with missed coats (sometimes literally not even 1 coat), and holes and scuffs not remedied despite claims in the contract that they would be. My guess is the crew couldn’t see their mistakes because there wasn’t adequate light.On the third day they actually brought a couple lamps in, but it was too late. The finished job left some spots with many coats, some spots with missing coats, paint dripping from baseboards onto brand new wood floors. They charged an extra $500 because of newly installed wainscoting I explained during the estimate but caught Randy off guard when he showed up. The caulking on the wainscoting was pathetic I would have done it myself if I had known what it would come out like. There are spots of exposed wood filler on it that clearly got no coats of paint.Overall, it’s hard to recommend CertaPro. Maybe for a commercial space or a rental property or something where you don’t value attention to detail.Services: Door painting, Interior painting, Drywall repair

We used the services of Certapro to get some fixes to our house before we listed them for Sale . Randy , Joaquín and team did a great job replacing the trims , painting and staining the deck and patio . They did a great job and were very responsive . They did all the work in quick time and were very professional about this . We had broken custom moulding and spindles that were hard to find in the market .
