i would’ve preferred a dirt road over the way they massacred James St in Chicopee after their water main work. personally i would be ashamed to allow something like that to represent my company.

Well on March 4th the city used them to plow. The cocky driver of the equipment thought it was hilarious when a young man was shoveling and he blocked him back in. Laughing and not paying attention, hit the manhole cover so hard the back of his equipment lifted up. Then he tried to leave and act like nothing happened. But needless to say neighbors seen the whole thing. He turned around and tried to bump the manhole cover back in and fill it with dirt and snow. Well of course the DPW was busy and couldn't check it out so we are still waiting.UPDATED 3/8/23Thank you DPW for working on this manhole. They had to replace the cover; spread some gravel to cover the critical repairs too prevent damage to other cars or worse. I know it still has to be completed but at least it's safer now.

Great job! Very pleased. Our area in town had to tie into town water from having had wells. This involved consulting with us, keeping us informed and scheduling the work. The yard was dug up, pipes laid. Yard was professionally closed back up and graded beautifully. Pretty quick too. Our foundation was cut and they installed pipes in our basement. Again clean, courteous and professional. Our well was difficult to get to because stone was laid over it. The men came and conscientiously, carefully cut and removed the necessary stone piece by piece. The well was then decommissioned and stone replaced flawlessly. Overall I was impressed with how courteous and respectful these men were while accommodating our requests.

They are really deserving of negative stars. Years ago I was getting off an exit of 391 when this company dropped a giant portion of the road on my vehicle from their digger or dump truck. The car was totaled. Half a second different and it would have crushed my head and me. The company owner was apologetic and got me a rental car only to report the rental car stolen two days later and show up at my work swearing at me (I worked at a peeschool by the way). I don’t really understand why to this day. He is lucky to even be able to run that business still with that level of negligence. I should have sued, but I didn’t. I still have extreme anxiety driving through construction sites and struggle to pay back student loans, meanwhile this guy is a millionaire.

We have been so pleased with the crew from Ludlow Construction who put a new sewer under our street. They have been patient with questions from all the neighbors, explaining things to us, often more than once. They have been as kind and reassuring as if we were their own grandmothers. Jonas and his whole crew were always professional and pleasant.Neighbors on the street who dreaded the sewer project have been able to breathe easy. Everything was "put back" as good as or better than before. Now that the job is drawing to a close we can only say “Thank You” and “Kudos!” for a job well done.

These employees are disrespectful to homeowners as they believe that it is ok to relieve themselves on the front lawns of where they are working! Absolutely disgusting!! After going outside to yell at them for doing this one of the other guys decided it was a good idea to get into a screaming match and verbally attack me. After complaining to the main office they thought it was a good idea to send these guys back to my house to finish the job for the city!

I live on Main St in Uxbridge, where Ludlow has been replacing our main water line over the last few months, with associated changes of valves, fire hydrants, and connections to the customers' water lines up to the valve for the home or business. It has been fascinating to watch the well-coordinated efforts of the crews as they work. I have gone outside to talk to workmen to ask about the job and it stages; every one of them, from the one or two supervisors to whom I spoke to the heavy equipment operators and laborers has been polite, friendly, and helpful. My questions were answered clearly and completely.This was a well-planned and well-executed project. There have been some glitches, but these were taken care of promptly. It has been disruptive, of course, to have travel narrowed to one lane, but it is impossible to do a job like this without affecting traffic. I think that the Town of Uxbridge chose wisely when they selected Ludlow Construction for this project. The job is not yet complete, but it is nearly so, and it is reassuring to have it done so well. This company knows what it is doing.

Do NOT rely on Ludlow - they are extremely unprofessional and do not take responsibility for their work or any damage that they directly cause to property. Also, they do not consider customer service a priority - I could not get a straight answer out of anyone about damage they caused to my property, they passed me around to several different people within their company (none of who knew who the previous person providing their contact information was), and would not respond to my voicemails and emails regarding the subject. Only after my trying to contact them every day for 3 weeks did someone reply (Rachael), and she was extremely rude and displayed a serious attitude problem, even though I was trying to stay calm and nice. Ridiculous.

Starts before 7am. Parks equipment no where near the daily project. Employees are extremely rude as they yell to eachother walking by residential home windows. I would never recommend this company, due to the extreme lack of professionalism.

The only reason i gave them one star, was because 0 wasnt an option. The work they have done on the Chicopee project has been a absolute mess. They have destroyed every street they worked on. Have no respect for the damage they cause. And will just leave and not fix or replace what they damaged. Cant believe Chicopee allowed them to continue.
