I'd give 4 1/2 stars if possible, but not the full five.We hired MasterBuilders to replace our existing open side porch with an enclosed porch. It was a fairly small job so we had a somewhat difficult time finding someone to take it on. Anderson from MasterBuilders was immediately responsive when we reached out to him for this. He came by almost right away, had very good, solid ideas of what the project required, and his quote was extremely reasonable. He also gave us really good feedback regarding the question of if we wanted the porch heated or not. (We decided on not, because it would have greatly raised the cost, but also because Anderson was correct that with the insulation, it would work as what we needed for our purposes.)He said it would probably take two to three weeks for the project, which I knew enough to calculate out to really mean likely six weeks. We were okay with that - it was a small enough project that we knew it was going to be fitted in between other ones.He started the work quickly, and the tear-down of the old porch was done in the first week. Things got slower after that, but still moved along fairly steadily, a bit at a time. The general structure was up pretty quickly, and we were extremely pleased with Anderson's vision - the way the roof was constructed worked very well with the existing roof of the house, the stairs and materials were all of good quality, and the guys doing the work were very diligent and polite.I will say that the project did slow down greatly at that point. Weather definitely had a part in that - it was extremely rainy for a while there - but the final items (moving a doorbell, which would have been better done much earlier in the project, but wasn't done until the very end, despite repeated reminders on our end, installing a ceiling light, doorknob, and drain spouts) took three more weeks and a lot of follow-ups for the project to be completed.I do want to make it clear that Anderson was immediately responsive every time we reached out - I think he responded to any text we sent within two minutes! - which I much appreciated. But there would often be a lag of days at a time between when he said someone would show up to do the work, and when that actually happened. Not the biggest deal in the world, and the work would eventually get done, but just a note, so you can set expectations with regard to communication. I would have liked more communication from Anderson's side, but I also want to make it clear that at the end, every part of the project was completed to our satisfaction.All in all, the project took eight weeks and a day. The end result is truly phenomenal and I really do believe that Anderson's design work was ideal. The porch looks like it's always been there, and we are absolutely thrilled to have the new space for coats and shoes and dog stuff.See pictures - I included before (open porch) and after (enclosed porch) shots.Service: Home renovations

We went with Master Builders in order to finish off a project that our original contractor left. They came in and took over and were able to complete it coming in on budget and very quickly. Communication over project details was great, as we got responses to requests within a day, and usually an expert on site within a week of making a request. Overall we will be looking to use Master Builders in the future for other home projects and recommending them to friends and family.Services: Home renovations, Exterior finishing, Interior structural repairs

Anderson from Master Builders was very responsive, friendly, and and his crew did quick work installing marble tile in our kitchen, which was originally laminate hardwood. During his initial visit, he carefully explained everything, our options, and provided a detailed quote. Although it was a relatively small job, we would definitely use and recommend Anderson for future projects!

Master Builders/ Anderson rebuilt our front porch from ground to connect it to a room to make the room bigger and also completed all exterior works left by our previous contractor included installing gutter, sliding in the house. Anderson and his team are very professional and courteous. He was always available to discuss any details about the project, explained in details and answered all our questions and made appropriate recommendations. Anderson completed the work in time frame mentioned in his estimate. Anderson is someone you can trust to get the job done. It was a great experience to hire him for our project and we would definitely recommend him.

Anderson was exactly the contractor we needed. He did a kitchen and closet remodel and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We moved to Massachusetts 4 years ago. We bought a fixer-upper and needed a good contractor to help us. Since we did not know anyone, we turned online, and were very lucky to meet Anderson. He did all the really large and complicated projects for us. (installing a new bathroom, upgrading all the rooms in the house with paint and flooring, and building a new deck) His work is always high quality, and done in a timely manner. If you are looking for a good reliable contractor, look no further!

I used Master Builders to do a complete exterior remodel on my home. They replaced 2 decks, all the exterior doors, all the windows, completely resided the house and detached garage.The Master Builder crew and their sub contractors, were professional, responsive and did a great job.The General Manager, Anderson, is a guy who listens to his customers project needs and requests. We hired Andy from Master Builders for a Bath Remodel of our home. His workers and subs were ALL professional from the demolition crew to the framing, tile work, plumber, electrical and painter. I worked with master builder for the front porch renovation, the sole reason i went ahead with this company was bcoz of reviews on google, but wasn’t that caseYes they did completed the work but they took 3 -4 weeks longer than estimated time , when following up they say some emergency on other projects blah blah. Also our close friend had hired Masterbuilder based on reviews, they were also facing the issue, prolonging work, so anyone hiring them, make sure to mention the tentative work days for project completion, and also mention every detail on contract so as a customer you be on safer side.Wont be hiring them again. Company late on delivery but on time for payment collection

Anderson re-did my bathrooms from the floor up. From the day he came over he was very kind and genial and that was just the start of the experience. Anderson quoted me quickly and we were off to picking the materials. Every step of the way he explained to me what he was doing, in what order, and how long it would take. There were no surprise expenses luckily. He picked out the tiles for the floor with me, installed my vanities for me, and painted the bathrooms with precision in a very timely manner. He completed 2.5 bathrooms extremely punctually. He also replaced 4 light fixtures elsewhere in the house by request because I was impressed. I am going to use him again soon and would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a contractor that holds to their word.
