We hired the Giovannucci brothers and their team to redo our Master Bath and we couldn't be happier with their work. The team rotated for various stages of the project: demo, reconstruction, carpentry, tile and finish work. They worked with our current plumber as we had determined that at the outset. Mike or Brian were on site at least once a day and they were always available to stop by if any issues popped up.The house was built in the 1920s and the bathroom was original to the house, so unexpected issues were inevitable, i.e. deteriorating pipes discovered when the walls came down. These bumps along the way were handled skillfully and effortlessly and they walked us thru their recommended solutions at every turn.The team was professional, knowledgeable, friendly & respectful. We were able to work from home without any interruptions or concerns. The work itself was top-notch as everyone on the team was skilled in many different areas. If a tile issue came up when the carpentry guys were on-site, they were able to seamlessly switch gears and solve the problem.They sought our input and kept us in the loop every step of the way. They offered suggestions and solutions that made us confident in our decision to use them for such a large project.They took care to finish every last detail and a few weeks after the bathroom was completed, Mike stopped by to fix an AC vent cover that got stuck in the shut position when re-installed. Little things like that is what sets them apart from other contractors we've worked with in the past. The Giovannucci Brothers communicated with us in a clear, straightforward manner so there were no surprises. We always go in to these types of projects with a bit of anxiety, but our concerns disappeared once construction began. We will be recommending Brian & Mike and their team to all our family and friends. Thanks, guys!

The Giovannucci Brothers have done two projects for us - one being a major 2nd floor renovation that took several months and the other a large deck + sliding door. Both projects were completed on time and on budget and better than we could have hoped for! Brian, Mike and Erica are a pleasure to work with on every level. They are helpful, knowledgeable and responsive and all their crew are the type of people that you'd want in and around your home. Brian and his crew have done two beautiful projects for us in the last couple of years! The first was a front entryway addition to add a small mudroom and second was a larger two-story addition which added a master suite and laundry room, and expanded the first floor living space. We are so happy with both of our projects and the process went as smoothly as these types of projects can go. I have had two big renovations completed on two separate homes by this company and they have both been top of the line. They did a kitchen remodel at my first home. It came out beautiful and within my budget. They were professional and most importantly communicated with us on project milestones, etc. They also had some really nice design suggestions.When we moved into our second home Brian and his crew were extremely busy and could not get to our project for a few months. I was eager to move forward and get some of the work done so I hired a different company. It was a complete disaster. I called Giovannucci Brothers basically in tears, begging them to come take a look at the project and give me an independent assessment of my home. He came over in 2 days (during his busiest time of year and off hours) and took a look at my project. He gave me a fair price to fix the horrible work by the other construction team and squeezed us into his extremely business schedule. My home turned out absolutely beautiful. Words can not adequately describe the gratitude I feel for Brian (owner) and his workers.This is a very high-end, professional and trustworthy company.I highly recommend them to everyone. The GioBros team did a great job in building a new mudroom, office addition and roof deck for us. They were honest and respectful on the job and did quality work. Brian was very good as a consultant on the job. He would offer suggestions about what gets the best value for the money and would always keep me informed of the plan. If there was something he saw and didn't like, then he had his team go back and fix it immediately. Despite the disruption on the job with COVID concerns, the team had minimal delays. We chose Giovannucci Brothers from a short list of candidate contractors because their cost estimate was reasonable and clearly presented, and because Brian was so patient, engaged and professional in listening to, and understanding, our goals for the project. The work entailed adding a new kitchen to a 100-year-old house, and turning what was kitchen into what is office space in the short term, and that can be bedroom or a family room in the future. Brian and his crew were unfailingly patient and creative in dealing with the surprises that are inevitable in updating a century old structure, and they were understanding and sensitive to the fact that we were living in the house throughout the project, minimizing the disruption at every opportunity. One of the most impressive parts of our experience with the Giovannucci team was that they crew arrived each morning ready and eager to go, and that they clearly enjoyed working together. We love the fact that the new addition looks like it has always been there, rather than like a contemporary box has been tacked onto the back of an old house. We also love the new interior space, that is beautifully finished and that suits us perfectly. We could hardly be more pleased to have chosen Giovannucci Brothers as our contractor. We will be asking them to do more projects on our house in the future. Thank You Brian and crew for making it so easy for us!

Brian, Mike, Erica & the team @ Giovannucci Brothers have helped us with several smaller projects over the years, each of which was completed with excellence. Based on our past experiences with them and after seeing many other projects they have completed, we hired them for a larger project at an older home we had just purchased which required various repairs and improvements. Brian worked with us to understand our goals while staying within budget. This particular job included new roofing, a complete rewire, repair / replacement of some ceilings and walls, new windows, addition of a bathroom, floor repair and refinishing, as well as some outside work including new columns and railings. I decided to tackle some smaller jobs and painting at the same time as his crew and subcontractors, and his coordinating of all the moving parts while working around my schedule was impressive. Throughout the project everyone in our home was polite and courteous and the worksites were spotless at the end of each day. As the project moved forward he was certain to make sure each piece was completed both to his standards and our satisfaction. He was in constant communication every step of the way. We are very happy with the outcome of every piece of the project. Even after completion Brian made it clear that they stand behind their work. Several weeks after everything had been done I returned home to find that a small portion of the roof had been damaged during a very windy storm. This was not the result of materials or installation, but rather as the roof had been installed in late fall it had not yet had the chance to warm up and adhere to itself. I called Brian and left a message. He called me back right away saying he had already been in touch with the roofer. It was fixed first thing the next day.We hired them again last year build a new deck off the back of the house and to install a sliding door where there was previously a window. Again, Brian worked with us to stay within budget and was very helpful in selecting materials. His crew was once again A+ and our yard was spotless at the end of each day. When it was time to demo the window and install the door they even sealed the room with plastic to keep any dust from the rest of the house. We are very happy with the outcome and quality of the whole project. We love our new deck.We have several other projects we hope to complete in the next few years. For each one we certainly plan to hire Giovannucci Brothers again.

Please disregard the fake reviews below, for I know Deborah LeBlanc very well and she did not write the “Debbie” review...My name is Patrick Shanahan and my Wife and I have had the Absolute Privilege of working with Brian, his Brother Mike and their crew since 2010 when we purchased our home on Walker Road in Swampscott. Brian and his crew have never been anything but Complete Professionals in every aspect of the numerous jobs they’ve helped us with. Brian has gone out of his way many times, spending hours with us in the planning stages and has always had great suggestions, working with in our budget. Their crews are courteous, skilled in their craftsmanship and keep a very clean work place. This is very helpful Having two young children around during the projects. He’s hands on with his work and always takes the time to answer any and all of the questions we throw his way.My Wife and I could not be happier with the work they’ve done, expanding our bathroom and completely remodeling our downstairs. He’s building us our “Dream home” my Wife says.We have an older Colonial with a somewhat strange staircase and had a situation a couple years back of our daughter falling down them, luckily with out injury. I called Brian, who was not working with us at the time and with in hours he was at our home, installing custom gates, helping to keep her safe.Brian is a Family Man and a Class Act who runs a Honest, Hardworking family business. I recommend him in every opportunity that presents itself. Giovannucci Brothers recently completed a large project at my home this spring; completely renovating our unfinished attic space adding two bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as gutting and remodeling 2 existing bathrooms on the first and second floor. We had Brian, Mike and his team working in our house for over 6 months and I truly cannot say enough amazing things about my experience working with them. Every single guy on this team acts professional, respectful and most have been working with each other for years, which speaks volumes with regard to the cohesiveness of a team. The level of detail, craftsmanship, and initiating new design ideas along the way were absolutely top notch.I'm SO thrilled with the outcome of this project from inside to exterior!! Everyone who lives in our neighborhood has made a point to stop by to compliment the addition, all saying it looks as though it's always been a part of our home and not an add-on. These guys are quick too! The neighborhood could not believe how fast this team moved, how well the group worked together and how efficient their clean up was! These accolades were rolling in all the time.One of my biggest takeaways from this entire experience was the constant stream of communication with Brian (the owner and main contact) and his lovely wife, Erica. Both of them consistently checked in with me to make sure I was always happy, satisfied and that their subs and guys were matching up to what I expected. I was never in the dark, never waiting for anyone, and if something was to delay part of a project I always got a pop in from Brian or a phone call explaining why. I truly felt like I was his only client even though he was simultaneously managing several big jobs all over the North Shore. I truly can't say enough about his professionalism and "we'll get it done!" attitude.I would recommend Gio Bros to anyone. I'll use them for anything I need in the future. I've referred them to several people I know; and luckily my good friend acted quick to hire them as they are starting a huge kitchen/dining renovation for her next month.Big big thanks to this team. There is a reason why this company has an almost 2 year waiting list for large projects. They are the best. I had horrible work done to my home 2 years ago and was in a horrible predicament. Brian and his crew came to my home and saved me. Totally redoing what was previously done and making everything safe, up to code, right and beautiful. For this I am forever grateful. Your home is your biggest investment and I would not and do not trust anyone else but Giovannucci Brothers.It is unbelievable that someone would hack is account and write false reviews. People that work hard every day and do the write thing do not deserve this. To the fake reviewers I hope a libel lawsuit finds you.

I have worked under brian and mike for a couple years now. I am proud to be part of the giovannucci team. Brian always wants us to be a team and as a crew we are friends close to being family. Brian always has us strive for excellence and quality. If its going to take more time for a better outcome that is what he wants. We have quality control and all are courteous and polite to our clients. We treat every home we step into as it is our own. Same goes for the work. We only provide work we are proud to stand behind and back. Brian treats all of us with the uo most respect and is very understanding. Ive worked for other companies that ill leave nameless as they are local aswell and nobody has been as organized, caring, and giving as brian. I have seen him take money out the company to go above and beyond to leave a customer happy and satisfied. I have been to jobs where brian has put up all the money for small projects to help families in the community have safer and better looking homes. Classy guy if your honest and upfront he will meet you in the middle if not better. I know for a fact hed give the shirt off his back for anyone of his crew members. When we work in a home cash jewerly antiques can all be left out. At the end of the day it will all be there and nothing broken. When we leave a site for the day we like it to be like we were never there (spotless and clean). Especially on big jobs brian makes it a point we barricade our work area to keeo everything else clean and give you every part of the house to continue your routine while work gets done. Only boss I've had that makes it point to try and stop in everyday and make sure progress is up to clients standard and ideas to cut cost or increase design. If i left this company i would still recommend them.

Absolutely careless employees driving the company truck. Came barreling on to the highway, right through a stop sign with no regard for anyone’s safety. Luckily I was prepared for him to pull a move like that and responded quickly with my brakes.
