The service tech spent the time and made the effort to thoroughly check everything in minimize the possibility of a failure during the cooling season. It may have taken a bit longer and cost a bit more, but when balanced against a problem when we have a houseful of family, it was well worth the investment.This is our fourth year with D&G and by no means our last.Service: A/C system maintenance

When Christopher arrived and assessed the problem he initially thought it would be a 2 day project to allow the ice dams to melt. However, he dived in and after about 2 hours he completed the project and now we're back in comfortable air conditioned quarters. During the entire project he undated me with the project status and additionally gave me a seminar on how the AC systems work and how to avoid another similar problem. Christopher and his assistant were well informed, courteous and enjoyable to have working in our house. As in prior visits by DG personnel, we are always delighted with the service and the entire staff. Thanks also to Grace for scheduling a visit shortly after my distress call!!Joe

Joe seemed helpful but told us that our furnace needed to be replaced, but that we would get two quotes one to replace the malfunction part and another quote to completely replace the furnace. Fast forward to today 3 weeks later and I was told that they will not be providing me with any quotes and that they won't even talk to us about it until September!! Completely unprofessional abd we will NEVER use you and your company for ANYTHING. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have never been treated so badly!Service: Heating system repair

I contacted the company to address an error code on an older model water heater. The in-take team was very efficient and addressed my concerns. They scheduled a technician to come out. I received multiple reminders of the service appointment, and the technician was a few minutes ahead of schedule. He was extremely professional and efficient. The issue ended up being fairly simple, but he did a very thorough job diagnosing the problem - and then waiting to ensure everything was working properly before leaving. The technician, Haze Butler, was professional, knowledgeable and quickly identified and repaired the issue for one air handler, reviewed the second air handler and compressor and found a bigger problem which would have burned out the compressor, if not resolved. Very pleased with the response time, I requested service yesterday. And, the arrival time of Haze, who was right on time. Had this company come by to do an estimate for a mini split system. Had a few questions on the estimate that was very vague. Rather then attempt to break down the estimate for me between material and labor, I was asked to call another company. So I guess we just throw out crazy numbers and hope the customer doesn’t question anything. Not to mention it was a 2 week process to finally get someone on the phone, to have this as my end result. Very poorly handled.Time frame had nothing to do with it “to be fair “ I said I could live with that. I was asking for breakdown on material and labor. Price seemed high and I want to know what portion of that quote was going to labor and what portion was for material. I did not purchase my own units and ask you to install them. I made a couple of calls and got suggested retail price on the units you quoted me. And no not from eBay as you suggested. I was then told I don’t think this is going to work you should call someone else… the only time frame I was upset with was the time I wasted with you. Waited two weeks for someone to spend five minutes tops in my house for estimate. Then waited another two weeks to get the written estimate that was only a five minute walk through. Which lead to me calling half a dozen times over the course of another two weeks to finally get you. And end here.

We had a condenser unit fail that is located on the roof at my business. DG Service sent a technician who quickly identified the failure. They quoted both a repair cost and an option for replacement. We decided a replacement unit was the better option for us. A two man crew came back and installed the new unit without any interruption or inconvenience. Very prompt and professional.
