FRS was more expensive but demonstrated their materials, approach, and warranty to be much better than the others. Very prompt and professional! After inspecting the roof, they were able to pinpoint the issue causing my roof leak and transparently communicated my repair options and costs. The price was competitive and there were no hidden additional fees for materials or cleanup.The FRS roofers started the job within 2-3 weeks, as quoted, and completed all repairs and cleanup within a single day. We have replaced roof shingles two years ago using a different roofing company but leaks around a pipe just kept coming back and they couldn't fix it. We called FRS roofing and Mike came within a couple of days of my first call and assess the need. Within the same day, they gave an estimate and quickly scheduled a roof repair. They replaced the old wood panel and put a nice pipe flashing around it. We had a really heavy rainstorm after that and we didn't see any leak in the attic! They are very professional, punctual and pleasant in person and on phone calls and we wish we worked with them from the start! Highly recommend.

FRS did a great job with our roofing project! We collected several quotes to do our due diligence and found FRS to be in a reasonable price range compared with the other vendors, while also feeling like they did the most comprehensive assessment with a lot of communication.On the day of the project, they were pretty careful in moving things in our yard, and left everything fairly neat when they were done. We had essentially no cleanup to do.Overall, their communication was excellent (we worked with Rick who is always available and very knowledgeable) and they did a great job. Very happy we went with FRS.

RFS did a partial roofing replacement and installed new front roof gutters. The work was high quality at a fair price. They had a quality inspection at the completion of the work and did request final payment until a couple of quality issues was resolved. They were professional and courteous throughout the process.

We had FRS Roofing do two jobs - a full replacement of our roof including plywood, shingles, chimney repointing and flashing. In addition, they also resealed our skylight and replaced gutters and downspouts on a kitchen addition. They were professional, did the work on schedule, cleaned up thoroughly, and answered all questions we had. They provided thorough estimates for the work ahead of time. I received other quotes for the work and their rates were very competitive. Overall, we have been very pleased with the work done.

Had my roof done - the FRS consultant was able to help us, guide us through the process, and the price was very reasonable. The timeline of completing the job was very quick (matter of days). Found out that my roof had 3 layers of shingles during the demo phase and now my roof is lighter and installed a ridge vent for proper ventilation. We also went for 3rd Party Financing to pay for the job and that was very seamless as well. I highly recommend FRS for anyone looking to get their roof done!

FRS had done some work replacing a small section of rotted gutters as part of the contingency for purchasing my unit. A larger section of gutter became detached from the roof during some of the major June rainstorms we we called them back to replace the rest of the house. Their work was very good, cleanup was excellent, respect for plants and the rest of the house was top notch. I only ding a star because it took a very long time and frequent call backs to get us on their weekly work schedule. However, once they had confirmed the time, they stuck to it and were on-site promptly. Some pictures attached. They replaced the gutters, redid aluminum backing, and replaced the downspouts. We have had some excessive storms since and everything has been working great!

We had four companies bid to replace our (very leaky!) rubber roof on the old addition to our house and are very happy we chose FRS. Their pricing wasn't the lowest, but it was very competitive, and FRS offered us the most comprehensive scope of repair (including some badly-needed masonry services and sealing some old windows above the roof). Everyone, from our project lead Ulisses to the office staff, was helpful, friendly, and professional. The whole process was handled smoothly, and communication was easy. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend their services.

I had a home renovation project which consisted of a new roof design and outdoor walk out deck. We used FRS Roofing to install a new roof, and two rubber roof membranes for the new deck and an older existing rubber roof replacement. FRS was prompt with scheduling and replies. Their service was quick, polite, thorough clean up, and had no issues at all. Completely satisfied with all expectations. We vetted five companies to replace a rubber roof on our 104-year-old Victorian, and chose FRS Roofing. They were the ONLY company to identify a crack in the upstairs window, which they replaced (in addition to the roof). Exceptional work by skilled Portuguese workmen (who know their stuff) at a fair price (the highest bidder was $18,000 more)! Cleaned up everything and sent an inspector for final inspection before you pay. Great company from start to finish, we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Highly recommend.

My first experience with FRS was some years ago, during the COVID home renovation boom. At the time, I had a minor leak due to a flashing issue, and was looking for a spot fix. FRS was the only outfit that didn't push to upsell me on a full roof replacement I didn't need at the time. While on my roof, they even fixed the mortar on my chimney, an issue I didn't know I had. Their integrity, professionalism, and customer service led me to consider them once again for a full roof and skylight replacement this year.Rick led the end to end customer engagement, and it was a great experience. In our first meeting, he took me step by step through the work to be done, showed me material samples, took extra time to answer my questions, checked the attic, and took measurements of skylights - then came back later to ensure initial measurements were accurate. I appreciated the attention to detail. He was reachable throughout and after the process, and stopped by or called on multiple occasions to check in. Where follow-up was needed, Rick and the FRS team were prompt and accommodating.The project team also operated at a high standard. Raphael managed the site professionally, communicating regularly to keep us up to date. On multiple occasions, he and the FRS team went above and beyond to make sure the work exceeded our expectations. The crew did a nice job and the end product looks great.Overall, I highly recommend the team at FRS, and would work with them again. I would recommend FRS to anyone looking to replace their roof shingles. I was completely satisfied with the finished work and expect it to provide coverage for many, many years to come.FRS replaced the shingles and gutters on my home and detached garage in November 2023. They arrived to do the work early and almost to the day they had estimated work would begin a month prior. They had reached out asked about access, plantings, and any concerns I had before the workers arrived.With the project's size and shorter daylight hours, they didn't quite finish the roofs in a single day, but were back the next day to finish and cleanup. The work was very well done, and the shingles looked very good. Their crew was fairly decent with the cleanup even though I found a few bits over the next few weeks that were missed.The gutter installation went a bit rougher a few days later. The crew was subcontracted out and had difficulty with the carpentry. Their work on the gutters was fine, but because of the carpentry I requested the gutters on the garage be removed and the carpentry redone. FRS quickly responded and fixed everything the next day.

I had an old tar and gravel roof that had started to leak.Was cotacted by FRS Roofing through Angie list.Ulysses came out and did a roof inspection. He took pictures of the roof and chimneys.The chimneys were in need of repairs also. We also had new gutters and down spouts replaced.The price he gave us was very reasonable compared to prices we recieved from other roofing companies. The crew that did the work was awesome. I wish we had contacted FRS for our first roofing job. Luckily we ended up hiring them to do our main roof. I am ecstatic with the job that they did. We had an aging roof with an old chimney and the seal around the chimney had eroded some time ago. They updated the materials for the roof as well as replaced the rotted wood along the gutters. They updated the gutters as well. The job was not only professional, their guys cleaned the site well after the job was finished. The also did the secondary roof behind the house and replaced the shingle work perfectly. I will be hiring them in the fall to repoint our chimney. Given my age, this should be the very last thing I have to worry about in regards to my roof. I had a really great experience and I expect you should too!

FRS did a great job on repairs to our roof and chimney. We were not sure if they had lots of slate work experience , but they did, and the work was excellent. When we questioned something in the bill, they were respectful of our viewpoint , and took time to show us via pictures exactly what was done and we worked it out. This was very important to us because you can’t always see what’s going on on your roof.

FRS was quick to respond and get us a quote. Crews were quick to arrive and executed the work very quickly and throughly. FRS has completed two gutter projects for me (one on a garage and the other on multi-family home). Both project experiences end-to-end were smooth with great communication. After the second project, one gutter continued to leak, I called FRS immediately and the next day they came and resolved the issue. Excellent work. Explained all aspects of work, were timely, and did not “nickel dime” when unexpected matters arose, such as rotted fascia boards that needed to be replaced. They totally owned up to and remedied one mistake, which was installing the wrong type of sky light. They removed it and replaced it with the correct one we had specified. I would use them again and recommend them.

Depending on the direction, intensity, and duration of the rain, water stains appear on the ceiling of the room below. We had several roofing contractors (big and small) attend to the issues, and we paid their asking prices but the issues were never resolved. The pesky water stains would reappear from time to time.Long story short, disheartened by previous sunk costs and the undesirable outcomes, a FRS roofing van happened to cruise by us on High Street in Medford and we looked into it. The rest is history.From my call at the very beginning to handing over the check at the end, each and every step along the way was handled in the most professional manner by the management, staff and crew of FRS. They were always one step ahead of us and provided clear explanations of what the issues were and the recommended solutions. FRS Roofing exercises clarity and transparency and for once, I felt safe to sign a contract with a construction company.The work crew came, did the work, cleaned up, and left without a trace.We are very satisfied with the quality of the work done and the follow-up. Highly recommended, but read details below for best experience.I contracted FRS to install new copper gutters, facets and soffits around the whole house. The house is large and it was a big job. Their estimates and offer were on pair with other contractors, but FRS provided good work breakdown details and took time to explain what exactly will be done. They also included some chimney and roof ventilation work to complement the offer. There were a few initial scheduling issues due to my vacations, but we were able to work it out. The crew mostly speak Portuguese and very little English. That caused some communications issues and I had to rely on the supervisors to make sure that everything is done as requested. On the other hand, FRS management made an extra effort to make sure that the job is done to my satisfaction. For summary - great company to deal with, just make sure that you have contacts of the front man and supervisors.
