Homeworks came in and did a full assessment. Had a long overdue upgrade to heating and hot water systems. Evergreen Plumbing and Heating was contracted by Homeworks to do the work, they were AMAZING. Professional, clean, and diligent. Would highly recommend Homeworks and their contractors for any job under their umbrella.

Keith McDonald was very knowledgeable. Very thorough evaluation. Took the time to explain things. I was concerned that the insulation was settling but he checked and noted that the type of insulation I have does not settle. He did point out three places where I did need insulation in the basement, a crawl space and an overhang. Checked for carbon monoxide and discussed future heating options although the system I have is fine for now. Put together and reviewed the contract showing significant savings for me. This was the best home energy assessment I have ever had . I was very impressed

They are ok for energy assessments but do not get any installation or repair work done by them. They installed my heating system and a few years later, I started hearing a loud noise from my boiler. Problem was not fixed despite 3 years of complaining and paying for many technician visits! Finally had to get it fixed by switching to a different company. Found out the problem was caused because Homeworks tech left a screwdriver inside the boiler during one of the service visits. Run away from this company like a plague!

I am very pleased with Homeworks Energy. They did several energy-saving projects for me over recent years -- Mass Save energy assessments, insulating attic and cellar, and more -- and they are outstanding every time. Most recently, they installed my mini-split heat pump system and also handled all the rebate paperwork. I had lots of questions, and everyone from phone coordinators to support and maintenance staff was helpful and professional -- just super! Their support staff still go above and beyond to make sure I'm comfortable. I'm so glad I chose them, I'll do it again in a heartbeat, and I recommend them without hesitation.

Had Eric from Homeworks out for another MassSave energy assessment. I try do these energy audits bi-annually just to keep on top of the incentives and this will be the 3rd time I’ve had them out. Homework’s seems to always done right by us and been respectful of our house so I keep calling them back.

This service exceeded our expectations. Tyler was incredibly thorough, clear and helpful. We have an older house and he really took the time to examine it and explain everything the program could offer us. We have already followed up to arrange to have all of our old, drafty original windows replaced; the service provides a discount on each window and also a zero percent loan. We will also be adding insulation to the house at a heavily discounted rate. We have an appointment next week for a consultation on adding heat pumps and we are hopeful that, with the available incentives, this will be possible. He also brought treats: some new power strips and a new shower head. To our amazement, he cheerfully installed the low flow shower head for us and explained how much water it would save. We could not be more delighted with this amazing program.

Great experience working with Dan from HomeWorks. Thorough, patient, professional, and very informative. Had good suggestions for energy savings in our home. I was pleased when he installed the shower head and faucet aerators, explained how the power strip actually works (whereas a rep from another company we had a couple years ago just left them all in a bag). Would feel confident recommending him to do an assessment in another's home any day of the week.

Mike O. was my inspector for my energy assessment and he was fantastic! Passionate about his work, very knowledgeable, thorough, and helpful! Changed my old thermostat out for free, left me with a few energy saving power strips and checked the home from top to bottom to make sure every area that needed insulation go the attention it needs! We were a little hesitant because of some negative reviews but it really couldn't have gone smoother! We decided to go with Homeworks because they seemed the most able to coordinate everything from proposal to rebate. We had our electrical panel upgraded, a heat pump furnace installed, and our oil burner/tank removed. Everyone was professional and the jobs started/finished on time. Their work was top notch! The project coordinators held our hand through the process and were extremely patient.

HomeWorks came and did an energy assessment on our house. The technician was very polite and knowledgeable, and had some interesting recommendations for sealing and insulating our house better. He explained how each improvement would help really well, which sold me on it. The pricing is really reasonable with all the mass save rebates so we are going ahead with all of the recommendations. Some of them would have been totally free, but we are paying a bit more to get a few extra things done as well. Happy with the experience.

They were inside Home Depot one day and I was looking to get info on MassSave anyways so I signed up to get home energy assement. Cody, who came to do the assement was great. Polite, descriptive, upfront, honest, etc. I'm still awaiting another visit and pricing quote but so far I haven't been disappointed with the results and options they were able to offer me.My only complaint is that the contacting can be a little excessive under certain circumstances. I had to cancel my first appointment due to not having a gas bill yet and they called me the next 3 days to try to reschedule like I was magically going to receive a bill overnight. Then when I did schedule appointment, they called and texted me for the 3 days prior to appointment to remind or confirm the appointment even though I had just made it maybe 2 days prior.

I have had two energy assignments done in the past 6 years. I've also had heat pump installed with 2 smart thermostat within the past 5 months. All the services were great with no complaints.During the last month I had 1 smart thermostat malfunction and called for service. I called the company and they sent an electrician over to check it out with in a reasonable time frame.The thermostat was replaced which was under warranty. All systems good to go.Thank you

EVERYONE needs to use this service. We already pay into it through our electric bill and they are not trying to upsell. I'm getting $6K worth of insulation installed for $1,100. Do yourself a favor and have them come by. You won't regret it!
