I met Gilson through my roofer Master Roof and I have enjoyed working with him. From the beginning, he has worked with me to help figure out what we wanted as we converted a flat rubber roof to a slanted shingled roof. He has offered suggestions, asked questions and provided pros and cons of what we suggested. I found his prices very reasonable. His work has been great and he has been awesome to work with as some unexpected issues arose. Gilson pays attention to details and wants things done the right way. He has been very responsive when texting or calling him. I will be using him for future projects.

I hired GJ Handyman Services to do some minor repairs around my home and I definitely recommend them. He was very professional and the quality of the work and materials was great. I was in need of having my pull down attic stairs replaced. My neighbor just so happens to have some wall repair done the week before. I decided to call and see what GJ Handyman Home Services could do. We made an appointment, Gilson showed up on time. Gilson said he’d have the quote ready the following day, he did. I needed an insurance cert., before work could be done, he had it sent via email. We made an appointment to get this job done. Gilson showed up on time, ripped out the old replaced with the new, cleaned up the mess and I paid him. If you are looking for a person who does their job and does a great job, go with GJ Handyman. I’m so thankful I did! If anyone says they are looking for a person to do a project, he’s the guy I’d recommend...No doubt 100%. Thank you for your high work ethic!

Got GJ Handyman's info from a local Facebook group. Gilson came out to our house promptly and had a very fair quote for us within a day or two. Gilson secured permits and immediately began demolition to get our deck project started. Although Covid-19 made getting materials and permits a challenge, Gilson was able to secure both. He was able to answer numerous questions throughout our project and promised we would be happy when the deck was complete. True to his word, we are extremely pleased with his workmanship (and his crew). We felt his and his team's work added value to our home.THANKS!

My wife and I had the fortune of meeting Gilson through a referral. Her grandmother had a few projects for her house that required immediate attention and Gilson, finding available time between his larger jobs, was able to squeeze her projects in what almost seemed within days of the initial request. The quality of work was fantastic. He was very responsive, especially via text which was really convenient for working professionals like ourselves. He also made us feel very comfortable providing his recommendations and advised against other projects or fixes that were not highly necessary. He was more than qualified to do the jobs and would have gladly done them if we insisted but he did not want us to spend money if it wasn’t needed. Having a professional consider you and your hard earned money not go to waste made for an incredibly pleasant experience and we intend to continue using him for future projects.

I hired GJ Handyman Services in the fall to take down our awnings. I was assured that the guys knew what they were doing, but when the time came, instead of simply unscrewing the bolts from our home they hammered them off, damaging the screws and my home. It was already late in the season, so we agreed that when they put them back up in the spring, they would also complete the repairs at that time. I called a couple of weeks ago and the owner promised to come over last week and never showed up and now he isn't even responding to my phone calls. The repairs are actually pretty minor, now I'm wondering what happens when they really make a mistake.ADDENDUM: The response below is pure BS, I called, he promised to come within a week and never showed up.

I had Gilson do many projects in my home from making accent wall, installing crown molding, beadboard installation, deck building with built in privacy wall, pergola installation, roof repair, siding installation, basement renovation and all projects have been really superb with excellent finish and precision, he is very punctual and finishes on time.
