At age 79, the prospect of scraping and painting my nineteenth century home one more time was not inviting. I contracted United Home Experts of Ashland, MA to install composite siding which I preferred to other choices. UHE, in turn, sub-contracted the work to IS Enterprises of Milford, MA. Sidnei and his cousin, John, arrived on time and began several days of work from 8 am to 6 pm. They adapted the installation to the peculiarities of my more than a century old home. Their work was thoughtful and impeccable. They were cheerful, energetic and obviously took concern for the quality of their work. At the end of each day the area was thoroughly clean and orderly. An added dimension was the arrival of Sidnei's wife, Roseanne, and his wonderful children, Isadora and Samuel. In observing my home they took great pride in the work that was done. I felt that I was not only employing a company but contributing to a loving, close knit family. Once the siding was complete, Sidnei and John installed a very large, very heavy 5' X 8' thermo pane window. My home is now much better looking and will be warmer. I can put the putty knife and paint brush aside. It's very hard to impress this old guy.
