Alex and his team built a custom shed for us in Melrose and we could not be happier! The shed we asked for was not straightforward as it had to be built into a hill and is not a regular shape, but Alex is clearly a master of his craft. The result is beautiful. Alex is also very professional, very communicative, and responsive. He took great care to understand what we were looking for and delivered a perfect build in record time. He was on top of making sure everything was lined up (permit, materials, etc) with absolutely no time wasted and kept us up to date every step of the way. His pricing was very fair and efficient. Alex has completed many projects around our house, but the most recent was a total kitchen rebuild, just finished. It was a tough job because the scope blossomed as the walls were removed and the old wiring and plumbing were exposed. It took much longer than we originally estimated, but the results were worth it. New hardwood floors are beautifully finished, new cabinets, awesome countertops... all great. Alex showed great patience with us; we struggled with the inconvenience of a total lifestyle disruption. But there is no such thing as cutting corners or accepting less than perfection. I have worked with Alex Moutsoulas very successfully twice. In 2015 the snow and ice damns destroyed my roof,walls,windows,ceilings and paint. Alex and his crew came in and and dealt expertly with roofing, drywall, ceilings and painting.It came out beautifully. And best Alex dealt with the insurance co.,and made sure I got everything I needed. Now I called him because the latex siding on one end of the house melted.Alex evaluated it and then explained all the options, including the timeline and money for each. He gave me a start date and stuck to it.I found him to be very professional. He answered all phone calls and questions. Whenever he gave me a day or time, he showed up. When the weather didn’t cooperate he always kept me in the loop. When they finished they cleaned up everything, including vacuuming paint chips off the grass! I love how well it was done, and how it looks now. These guys have skills. They also have manners, good attitudes, and were very respectful of me and my family, my home and my neighbors.
