We've used D & H Construction several times over the years. From putting on a new roof, constructing a new deck with composite materials, and replacing old slider doors with new Andersen sliders, Mike Shapiro and his team provided quality work at very competitive prices. When one Andersen glass panel shattered due to a defect 3 years after installation, Mike followed up, got a new one under warranty, and had it installed. They are professional, on-time, and always neat, ensuring that they leave the work areas clean when they're done. Great company to work with; would definitely use them for other home renovations in the future.

Working w/D&H Construction has been absolutely wonderful! Mike, the owner, at his core, is a kind and considerate person, and all the workers coming into my house have been handpicked by him. Mike strives to put forth his late Dad's work ethic, which is being caring and considerate with his staff and customers. And when things don't go perfectly, he fixes it promptly!! We suffered a flood due to a frozen water line. It made the kitchen and adjacent areas unusable. We worked with D&H to redesign/rebuild the entire space - kitchen, bath/laundry room, and moving staircases - to modern standards while maintaining the woodwork cachet of the 1850's home. The team did the work impeccably. We were truly pleased with the results. And the project was essentially completed on schedule. Kudos to the D&H team.

Over the past ten years I have been fortunate to have hired D & H Construction for numerous home renovations. The work they completed included installing vinyl siding and Harvey replacement windows, finding the right attic vents to keep Rocky the Flying squirrel out of my house, and, in December 2013, they finished a complete condo renovation that included a new kitchen, bathroom and flooring.Michael and his crews are great to work with. Sloppy work and have to keep calling back for minor repairs, they come most of the time usually its just calking,when job was almost done they rushed the hell out of here,they have one subcontactor who has help from one other helper, plus they used grey trim when we wanted white with white gutters and drain pipes for contrast ,mike probably didn’t listen to us we wanted shingles on the back of the house but for some reason,mike told me it would be too expensive,I didn’t know he was paying for it,so they put regular siding up and now we are stuck looking at all the seams,thanks mike
