Luongo Contracting was amazing to work with. Evan and the entire team he put together for this project were professional, personable, hardworking and efficient! The project was replacing 20+ ft of 0-4ft high raised cement sidewalk built into the side of our house that was causing moisture inside.... It involved a lot of cement demo, then waterproofing, rebuilding with correct pitch, and replacing a corroded embedded downspout we found along the process.... Quality of work and attention to detail was awesome.The site was cleaner when they left-no trace of the work done at all .Thanks to all the guys, especially Evan, Alex, Mr Demo (Nick) , and " the mud cricket" (Scotty) ! I had a major pipe problem which exposed the ceiling in my dining room. Luongo Contracting came right away to prep for the plumbers, keeping the dust at a minimum. Within a week, you would never know there had been a GIANT hole in the ceiling. Evan made sure to make my dining room ceiling like new. His team is amazing, friendly, quiet, and totally competent! If anything else happens in this old house, Luongo Contracting is who to call!

Look no further for your contracting needs - Evan and Alex are the best! They were referred to us and it was a no brainer to select them for the job. Got in touch with Evan through a friend after a previous contractor bailed on us. We couldn't be happier and I wish I went with Evan to begin with. He came out to us the very next day after we called to assess the job and him and his crew got right to work on fixing up what was left behind. Quality of work along with speed was excellent. Communication was also excellent, and Evan kept in constant touch with me each day, since I had to be away from the house a couple days. Evan and Nick did a great job on a really difficult crown moulding job. The rooms we needed done had very uneven walls and if you know anything about crown moulding, that makes the project extremely difficult. They were really dedicated to getting it done right and not taking any shortcuts. When I told them they could cut a few corners if it made things easier, they said, “We won’t sleep tonight if this isn’t done exactly right.” That alone should tell you how committed they are to quality work. In addition to the work, they cleaned up before they left and we could not have been more happy with their work and effort.

Evan, his wife and his team in Luongo Contracting were VERY responsive. Very hands on, they went shopping and planning with us prior to starting the bathroom remodel project. The team shared lots of recommendations and their vision but definitely followed our preferences to the point. They went above and beyond to help get the project done on record time and definitely stuck to the budget as planned with competitive pricing! It was immensely helpful for us especially that we were from out of state and the move itself was already stressful. They made sure they helped clean and followed our strict condominium rules when they were working, properly disposing of construction debris off site and taking care not to damage our newly renovated floors as well. We would regularly receive calls, updates and pictures of the progress even when we were far away. They did extra work during weekends and worked around our busy schedules. My wife and I are extremely lucky that we found Luongo LLC! Evan worked on several projects for us, and we highly recommend him to anyone who wants quality work.We had a lengthy list of small tweaks we wanted, plus a couple more involved projects. One was to add a solid structure to an open doorway above a staircase so that a baby gate could be securely installed. Another involved drywall adjustment so that we could hang our preferred bath cabinet. In both cases, finished work looked as if it’s “always been that way” – well matched to existing pieces.Evan and his team were professional, courteous, tidy, and delivered what they promised. They cleaned up after completing work, so all work dust was removed. Would not hesitate to hire his team for future projects.

Core to their presence is a respect for not only the project, but the neighbors where the project was underway. We had a moderate-sized project at our new condo in Cambridge, including work on 2 bathrooms and removal of a load-bearing wall, plus updating the electrical in almost all of the unit. He's also done a lot of custom carpentry for us such as a built-in bench, shelving, and radiator covers. They look great! Evan has been fantastic to work with. Evan's enthusiasm for the job has made it a joy to work with him.Evan, his crew, and his subs have done a great job. He constantly communicates with us via text or phone, and he has been quickly responsive to any concerns we or our neighbors have had. With Evan we have felt that we always know what is going on with the job and that we are on the same page at all times. Great attention to detail, and he listens to our needs (for example, I asked him to lower the bench several inches because I'm short, and he accommodated that request within a day). I don’t always write reviews on people and/or companies but felt compelled to write one for Evan and Luongo Contracting. Even came to us from a recommendation from someone we know and whose judgement we trust. So that helps, but having work done on a property where you can’t be there to see the progress because you don’t leave nearby, requires a leap of faith. And Evan did not disappoint! He called often to let us know of their progress, or if there was something they needed to make a shift on, like they did with us, they gave us solid reasoning for the change. He explained everything well and he also sent us photos to keep us posted. The work they do is top notch. We are so happy we went with them, and are actually having them do other work around the house now.
