I had contacted a few different companies and settled on old colony because of their professionalism and knowledge. They are very thorough and communicative. I appreciate the quality in their work. Other companies may quote you less, but are going to cut corners. I am using them for granite, basement repointing. Foundation is very important, so I absolutely wanted the best!

I would recommend Old Colony Masons over and over!I had a huge project to do (replacing a 130 ft retaining wall) and wanted to make sure that I found the right people to work with. To my surprise it was so challenging to even get someone to come out and look at the job, nevermind have them get back to me and give me an estimate.I met Jay and knew right away that he was extremely knowledgable and professional. He offered me so much information about my options and really listened to what I was trying to accomplish. As a homeowner it can be intimidating to take on a project that costs a lot of money and that you really have no experience in.I felt informed and looped in throughout the entire project. Any questions I had got answered right away.The quality of the work was outstanding. I'm extremely happy with the results, as well as the service.I would 100% hire Old Colony Masons again.

Jay and his team did a great job replacing our old patio. They hauled away the old tiles (and the cement found underneath the old patio), put in a new drainage system to channel water away from the house and garage, patterned the new tiles, and installed a fire pit. The entire process was done in three days and dramatically improved the look and functionality of our back yard; we consistently receive compliments on the patio from people who come over.Received several bids, and Old Colony, though not the cheapest, was the best value. They don't have a secretary who answers calls or does paper work, so sometimes communication lagged. However, that lack of overhead may help explain why the price was better than other landscapers / masons.

From start of our patio project with Michael to the crew's work led by Elias, this company outdid itself with their talent, vision, professionalism, precision work, clean-up and quality control. They never took shortcuts and removed an amazing 10" concrete base under the old patio and graded everything to not only improve drainage but eliminate edges, steps and tripping hazzards of our old patio. We couldn't be more pleased! Customers for life!

Old Colony Masons just finish my front steps, front walkway, back steps and a backyard entertainment area. They came out better than I expected. This is probably the best Masonry/Construction company I have ever encountered. Everything you hear about them is 100% true! They CARE about their customers and CARE about the work they do. I hired Old Colony Masons to design and build my backyard patio and outdoor fireplace. The guidance they had given us throughout the designing process helped us tremendously. My wife and I absolutely love the outcome and we would reccomend them for any project!
